Good game for devil may cry fans. I been playing them since playstation 2

The original release was met with good reviews from game web sites and magazines but panned by a lot of us plain old gamers out there, and that is not fair. A lot of the hate this game got is because it is not like the original,it changed things because it was made by a new team, Ninja Theory. The dev team made an excellent game that is fulled with powerful music that is both crazed and pounding which gets you pumped to run around and want to kick butt in style. The story is very different from what I remember of the original and was done rather well I believe, This version is different then the original because it is 60fps and 1080p, mechanics have been tweaked (it has customization now for the buttons and added lock on feature among other tweaks) also has the DLC with it. It is also a cheap title, $39.99 (even cheaper with gamers club unlocked) so not a lot of money for an awesome ride of a game!

This iteration of DMC has not been well received by some, but has a great premise as a re imagining of the original source material. I had previously owned the non-definitive edition for my xbox 360 and had enjoyed it. With the updates to the engine, added dlc's and bump in the frames per second, this game has been a joy to revisit. Definitely recommend it as it's not a straight port from the original gaming consoles it was on, but a true upgrade throughout.

We're in the age of remasters and definitive editions, where developers resell us old games again. In most cases, the games aren't definitive at all. Thankfully, DMC isn't one of those cases. Framerate is always king, and this version looks and plays better than ever. It runs at the console holy grail of 1080p and 60fps. The bottom line is that if you enjoyed this game on the PS3 or 360, you'll love this version. It's a budget priced game with plenty of extras.

The reboot of Devil May Cry turned out to have the best combat system yet presented in the DMC series and was very enjoyable to play. However, the dialog was unnecessarily vulgar and filled with foul language, which the other games did not go to. Furthermore the story line and graphics were interesting, but also unnecessarily gross. The DMC series has always had exotic and interesting places and monsters to fight, but this game showcased both disgusting and disturbing monsters and environments, this was especially true in the case of two of the boss fights. If this sort of thing does not bother you DMC is a very addictive game to play and a pleasantly challenging game to master. However, I can only recommend this game to those who have hearty imaginations and constitutions.

Wow DMC gave me everything I wanted, the action, comedy, good story, music, and did I say action, Dante is fast and sarcastic as ever and he has an heck of an weapon arsenal, DMC is fun all the way around

Despite what people say i've enjoyed this devil may cry the best. The story is compelling, the control are intuitive and the game design is very creative.

Devil May Cry is simply one of my favorite game series out there. This game, which was originally a ps3 and xbox360 game, really holds up on the new generation of consoles. Added to it, all the DLC that came out for the original game is included on the disc for the next gen version, which means extra skins and the Virgil's Downfall DLC. For the price you get a good value. The combo system in this game is just simply a masterpiece! It allows you to seamlessly flow between any of you equipped weapons to create a truly unique hack and slash experience.

Just as great as DMC was before with visual improvements that still look good but dated. There was some slowdown at moments which I feel shouldn't have happened.

great deal with this edition with all dlc and runs at 60 fps, if you live devil may cry games you will love this.

DMC is one of the best hacker and slash games to come along in a long while...Graphics and story are great...

If you like the DMc series this take is a fresh start. All in all its a good game but some of the new look and attempts to develop Dante loses the DMC richness! I could certainly see many fans being upset w this new entry but it was better than what I thought it would be. Also I bought this on a great sale and had further discounts so this helped with my take on the game! All DMC fans should play this but be warned its good NOT great!

The only reason I picked this version up is for the 1080p and 60FPS. I played it on PS3 and enjoy it very much, but wanted a new experience with the 60FPS. I have yet to have a framerate drop, which is very difficult for other games to achieve, especially given the combat involved. Don't expect anything different from the original game - minus the visual improvements. This is for the fans of Devil May Cry and of course Combichrist music.

This is not the Dante you are used to seeing, but this game is amazing. Not only does it look beautiful in 1080p 60fps, it handles perfectly. The controls are nice, no clunky moments. I really can't get over the visuals on this game and how captivating the foregrounds and the backgrounds both rendered. Fast game play with tons of customization for how you want your character to play as. This version comes with some extra skins so if you aren't a fan of the new Dante look, you can swap it with the original white long haired one. There are as usual many difficulty modes to choose from so if you want to push your luck you can try. Boss Fights are rewarding and the story just plays out perfectly. Bottom line, if you never played a Devil May Cry game, this is a great way to get into the series.

This is everything I expected. Lots of fun and great quality graphics.

Action galore. Fast-pace destruction in 1080p @ 60 fps. Awesome for what it is.

Whether you missed this game the first time around or played it and loved it, this is worth picking up. The price point is perfect. It has been visually remastered to look and run incredibly. The addition of turbo mode (which makes the game run 20% faster) is a must play. Feels like the way the game was meant to be played all along. Grab this game!!
