    Set-up of learning remote included?

    I ordered home theater whole room set up with non-concealed wires online. The website says, "We'll also program the remotes that come with your equipment..." and "Set up a manufacturer-supplied, non-learning type remote control". I haven't yet set the appointment for the setup. I called back to add setup of a learning remote. The agent said that was included. I told him the website said specifically that was not included and I wanted to add it. Is it included or not?

    I wish the installers gave more training on how everything works. There is still so much that I don't know how to do with the TV and home theater system

    Came to my rescue

    During the self-install of my new Denon AVR 1912 I realized that unlike years past I did not have it in me to take on this project plus reorganizing my AV components and wire management. Here's a big "at-ah-boy" to the techs from Best Buy's Geek Squad. The new 1912 was properly setup, all other components seamlessly intergrated and the cabling is super neat. Every action was explained in detail. Each activity was tested for my approval (HDTV, DirecTV, OTA, Blu-Ray, DVD, HD DVD, CD, Tuner and Speakers). It was refreshing to have techs that did not rush.

    Just terrible overall. Terrible customer service. Left trash at my house and took parts I need to complete the hanging job they did not complete and would not return my calls. If you get a tech by the name of Rich I strongly urge you to request another one. Happy to say the store I purchased from cleaned up the mess.

    Great job setting up my difficult system

    The Geek Squad called to verify they were on their way and got accurate directions. I have a Yamaha Adventage RX-V3010 AV Receiver that is 11.2 with an attached amplifier or receiver for the rear presense speakers which is a Yamaha RX-V1400 AV Receiver. They repaired one in-wall speaker that a wire had gotten loose then made sure the speakers connected to the RX-V1400 were set up and working properly. He also set the RX-A3010 was set up to use the RX-V1400. He calibrated the system and taught me how to calibrate it should it go down. They cleaned up after they finished and were very courteous. Great job, Geek Squad!

    They messed up when charging my card and it took over month to refund it back.

    Not worth the money.

    Didn't call in advance. Showed up at the very end of the allotted time frame. I paid to have the TV hung on the wall with all wires hidden. When they left, the power cord was still hanging down from the TV, exposed. I later ran the cord behind the wall myself.
