I enjoy ordering from Bestbuy when possible, however this last experience has me concerned. I am a gaming collector. Especially now that companies & corporations are trying to push digital games instead of physical media. Since Microsoft bought Gamestop there definition of "New" game's have been atrocious at least this purchase was shrink wrapped. So to open my mail & receive a shrink wrapped game that has been open & rewrapped is concerning because I paid for a brand new game which is what I expected. I honestly hope this is/was a glitch in the Matrix? After speaking with a customer service rep I was informed that they would have a restock unfortunately since I'm not a member of thier paid membership club now only have 14 days to return this game instead of the 30 days to wait for a restock. One of my favorite games of all time and an awesome physical copy packed with bonuses

Awesome game. Came with cool stickers and other memorably. Definitely worth it if you can get it on sale.

The game is fantastic that being said heads up it has a dark twist.

This is a cool anime horror game that has many ups and downs. It is both a thrilling and fun dating sim adventure. Often times it is deceiving and challenging so it does require positivity and perseverance. It takes its time! The characters all have their own personalities and as you progress, you will get to know them and empathize with their stories. I really enjoy the beautiful anime artwork and musical score. Be aware that there is a pretty decent amount of reading in this game and certain aspects may be disturbing to some people. I recommend this especially for anime horror fans.

Well now that was something. It’s hard to review this game without giving anything away, but it is a visual novel style game that has more going on in the story than it seems at first. The warnings at the beginning of the game should tell you as much. So make sure you know what you’re getting into. As for this release. I didn’t think they’d be able to pull this off on a console, but they did a smashing job. The extras included in this version are a very nice touch. If you’re thinking of buying this you probably already have heard of it and know what’s going to happen. Pick it up. It’s worth owning a physical copy.

This game has some serious depth. It seems really really boring at first but eventually gets better, and then it gets utterly unique. Don't buy this if you want a flashy high graphics games with tons of instant reward gameplay. Do buy this game if you want a truly unique game, you love graphic novels, and you want the game creators to actively mess with you. The first 1.5 hours is very boring. Just push through.

I can’t speak too much about this game in an effort to avoid spoilers, but this is an absolutely crazy visual novel. The story starts off like a dating sim, but starts to twist into something completely different. We’ll worth a play through!

You probably don't really want to read too many reviews, probably shouldn't in fact, at the risk of spoilers. All you need to know is that the game is not at all what it will seem to be at first, but it takes a while to break away from the "anime dating sim" theme. It won't be until the second day (in-game) that there will be even a hint that something different is going on. That said, I've been playing video games for decades, mostly PC but more recently getting into consoles, and this would make my top 20 all time, maybe even top 10. So, summarizing, highly recommended. But whatever you do, pay attention to the warnings! Also, the disc version includes some really cool extras, including stickers and stand-up chibis of the main characters, so get the disc version if you have a console. (Their is no disc version for the PC, IIRC.)

Best buy fulfilled this just fine, I just wish that this wasn't censored, or at least had an option to turn off or on graphic material. I knew what i was getting into and I support indie devs so this felt wrong to buy a censored version of someones art/ creation

Doki Doki is a game that's not what it seems, cute lovely waifus, will litter youe screen but there's more to this game than just that a really great story and characters you will love to don't delay buy today!

It was great when it first released for free, and this new release adds even more to the experience. If you enjoy visual novels, with a twist, this is great value.

I put off playing this for years, but seeing it turn up on so many horror games lists, I had to give it a try. REALLY loved this game and this edition was a nice find at BB

Doki Doki Literature Club is a great visual novel/horror game. I enjoyed 100%ing it. As the case says though. It is not for children.

This is a cult classic everyone knows this game it runs beautifully on ps5 and on switch

I did not expect this game to be the way it was. My friend told me years ago and I ignored him but man im happy i am playing it now
