DOOM Eternal does the impossible by improving on DOOM 2016. This game will have your heart pounding like a drum, and loving every single second of it. The collector's edition helmet is quite nice too.

attention to detail is phenomenal, there not much else to be said only reason im not giving it a perfect score is its pretty difficult to breath inside this thing chin strap is not long enough missed opportunity to light up the inside in order for face to be more visible, like the current doom eternal helmet is while those are minor gripes, the helmet is a must have

This is a great collectors edition. The game is amazing and the stuff that comes in this box is first rate. The helmet is especially cool! If you are Doom fan get this!

BEAUTIFUL COLLECTORS EDITION. The helmet is great and all the extras. The game plays great on Windows.

Everything arrived in a beautiful box and was in perfect condition. All items were separated and packaged in a resilient Styrofoam enclosure. The steel case is good quality with nice graphics, it seems sturdy enough. I collect these to display in my home office. Since few games for the PC actually include discs these days, I wasn't surprised to see a cardboard circle inside with the game code and downloading instructions. Ironic for sure. The Best Buy bonus steel book case was beautiful as well and comparable in quality. The lithograph came rolled and can be easily framed if that is your intent. An real Cassette Tape is included along with a redemption code for the higher fidelity version of the original soundtrack. The audio is available for download in a loss-less format. As an added bonus, the redemption code allows you to download the DOOM 2016 soundtrack as well. The art book is attractive with an embossed symbol on the front cover and a nice variety of insightful artwork inside. The best item however, is the Doom Slayer helmet! Lightweight and large enough to actually wear, the helmet is flat out gorgeous! Visibility while wearing is poor, and mods would likely be needed to wear it for extended periods of time, but as a display item, it is amazing and incredibly authentic in appearance. Well worth the price, in my opinion. There are additional enhancements for the game included as well, a special character skin, and the classic weapons sound pack. The value of this set, in my opinion, is exceptional if you are a serious fan of the franchise. I would not hesitate to recommend and that is without having played the actual game yet!.

What can you say about doom that already hasnt been said. Fast paced, brutal in your face gunplay and movement mixed with a little bit of platforming and upgrading your equipment. It still retains stuff from the old ways of picking up power ups and discovering secrets in all the levels. Eternal deserves to stand on the peak with all the other doom guys.

I was a bit worried about pre-ordering this after a couple of Bethesda's previous collector's edition debacles. This was well-made, and the helmet actually fits. It's a little trouble to get past my nose but I have a huge head. The game itself is also top-notch. Recommended if you ever manage to find the collector's edition for sale

Awesome game with intense action. I played on the Nightmare difficulty, kept getting killed but I kept coming back for more. The Collector's Edition helmet is really nice too, it can even fit on my larger head, but can be a little uncomfortable for prolonged wearing, definitely a decorative piece. Worth every penny.

Doom 2016 was a refreshing step for the series that took it in the right direction. Doom Eternal goes full speed in that direction! With great new tweaks on previous gameplay mechanics like using the always equipped chainsaw for gaining back health to using a mid air dash and shotgun with a grappling hook to close long distances! This game amps up maneuverability to insane levels! Then throw in some well paced gameplay that has you doing glory kills ever ten seconds all while rocking to a new glorious heavy soundtrack and your heart never drops a beat! There's a huge amount of new gear upgrades from weapons, weapon and armor skins you can unlock via the Doom Tower/mancave where you get to run around between levels! ID Software didn't just make an expansion with this. There's a good 15-20 hours of game here that you get to rip and tear through! It is a reformed and mastered experience like no other! Get ready to slay and slay well! Rip and tear! 10/10

The helmet is sturdier than I though. The mechanism used to fasten the helmet is really easy to use as well. The other materials that came in the packaging are of great quality, as is the actual game itself. The game is amazing and face-paced thinking first-person shooter action.

Improves on everything Doom 2016 did, even the story is better. You are given better mobility, better weapon upgrades, more demons to kill, a lot of diverse maps ranging from Hell invasion of earth to the land to the heaven-like place of Urdak. The collector’s edition itself is great, the center of the show obviously being the helmet which is easy to adjust (although you can’t see out of it that well) the lore book is pretty cool, the free soundtracks for both Eternal and 2016 on the cassette tape is a really nice touch, the poster is decent although it’s not as extravagant when compared to the other stuff you get. The only real complaint I have is that the game does not have a friend system, and neither does the Bethesda launcher, I really wish I could play with my friends who have it on steam.

Overall a very good collector items set, the delay of the doom eternal OST was a bit of a let down but once I started playing the game I quickly got over that.

This is probably one of the best collector's edition packages in recent time. Try and get one while you still can! The helmet alone is worth it!

A wearable helmet, epic soundtrack on audio cassette with digital code, sweet lithograph, and an artbook with the deluxe version of Doom Eternal! What's not to love? Game Review: 4.5 stars. A great follow-up to Doom (2016) with more strategy required through faster battles. Not loving the platforming sections that seem a little bit out of place and, in some cases, frustrating to pull off with a controller. The game itself is solid and all the battles feel good. Sign me up for another romp.

The best parts , are pretty much everything. The Doom helmet fits good, the lower soft brown flexible rubber part is removable for those with bigger heads, its about 15 screws, it will make the opening way bigger. You can see pretty good out of it. The cassette tape is an actual playable tape, it comes with a code to download the music in case you dont have a old cassette player. The book with information written and drawn like the game codex is pretty cool.

Not only is the game absolutely incredible, but the Helmet and other collectibles surpassed my expectations.

The cassette tape, art book and lithograph are awesome, but everything else kinda sucks. I don't know if this is the new steelbook standard, but its very thin and flimsy, and makes creaking noises when opened. And the helmet is very uncomfortable. The battery compartment pushes against your face and you cant wear it for more than 5 minutes without getting lightheaded. The games launcher is also a joke too. They force you to use Bethesda Launcher, and I can't even play the game because despite my GPU meeting minimum requirements, my GPU isn't on their official supported GPU list (which btw is not public) so the game will automatically refuse to launch.

I know most people are going for the helmet, but I think the lithograph is the best part. The box itself is HUGE, so be aware if you are saving a spot for display. The game is also fun. It's Doom 2016 with more platforming and gore. Personally, I like the older games, but this has plenty of action.
