Doom is great, Doom VR is good but man the controls take some time getting used to. A go to classic with the older family members.

If you enjoy Doom, I recommend this VR version. It’s fun and has the fastest paced shooter action I’ve played in VR.

Game is a lot of fun if you're a fan of DOOM. not as fast of gameplay, but that's to be expected with VR

I purchased this game because reviews seemed positive. The graphics are excellent and very enjoyable in VR. My only complaint is that the controls are clumsy at best. Using the AIM controller was the most intuitive but still a bit strange because you forfeit both hands but your VR character still has one free which breaks the immersion. Still enjoyable.

I'm sitting there and I see this thing and it's called "DOOM VFR" What does that VFR stand for anyway? "Virtual Fun Room" I'm thinking so I tell my Mom... WE GOTTA GET THIS GAME. She's like OK. Just let me watch my stories. So I put on my special gaming goggles and jump into this "fun room" and BOOM. DEMON. IN MY FACE. And I'm like... OH HECK NO. This is too close to real life. WAY TOO SCARY. Grandma loves it. WOULD PLAY AGAIN.

This game is really awesome. It is kind of on the short side as I’ve beaten over half in a single sitting (but most vr games are). It’s is good to point out if using the motion controllers that you can’t turn with the the controllers themselves, so sitting is more difficult. But with either the DualShock or aim controllers it’s made easier.

I purchased this game for my daughter and son-in-law as they recently purchased the VR system for their PS4 and have few games yet. This purchase was a great deal as it was on sale for 50% off. I haven't seen the game played yet, but the online reviews for it have been good. The other VR games that I have seen for the PS4 have been quite impressive, so I have high expectations for this one as well.

Got it on ps4 so wife brought it for my vr. Great game stayed true the original.

This VR DOOM experience is extremely immersive and killing demons in real first person has been a fever-dream since the first DOOM in 1993. However, I can only play it in short stretches since it makes me VR sick. Oddly, the frenzied battles don't bother me, it's the exploring that gets me since my mind has time to think about it and starts making me sick. I think I can train my brain eventually but only time will tell.

You have to take VR with its limitations. Once you accept it and just get immersed, its a gaming experience like no other. Using the PlayStation "gun" is the best way to experience Doom VFR. It's fun. It takes a little bit of re acclimation if you played the non-VR version, but it's a blast and a great way to revisit a game you might have already beaten
