I recently installed this model on a Honda Pilot as well as a Honda CRV. We wanted an extended range, and this included the smart phone app so it works wherever a Verizon signal exists. There were no missing items or hidden expenses when we installed the product. The key fob is full function, and the smart app is easy to use, and you can get a text message to confirm it works. We bought it bundled with the geek squad installation, and had a very positive experience. I would recommend this product.

tldr: phone control awesome; remote start good for your butt and your car. I read another review saying they found this on a deal-of-the-day so I signed up and waited for a month until I finally got it on sale too! I was a bit hesitant to enter the remote start market (this system being my first) but in only having the unit installed for two weeks now, I am determined to have remote start on every future vehicle I own. This particular system is fantastic for the internet connectivity. My wife parks at a shuttle parking lot for work, so there is no way even the longest range radio systems would suffice. I haven't upgraded to the premium drone plan as I'm still on the 3 month trial of the basic plan and I find it to be adequate. You still get confirmation messages for start and lock/unlock success which is enough for me. In even the coldest days here in the northern US the default 15 minute runtime is enough to get my car up to temperature, so I don't need the ability to check the temp in the car from the app. I believe the benefit comes in two forms from using a remote start system. First, and most obvious, is passenger comfort--getting into a toasty car when it is 0 degs Fahrenheit outside brings about a unique experience of joy and gratitude. But second is actually for the vehicle itself. These days we rush to do everything, so let's be honest, as soon as our butt lands on that icy seat, we are going to start up the car, throw it in gear, and get to where we are going because the less time we spend in this torturous situation, the better. But doing this is pretty hard on your vehicle (drivetrain in particular). Putting high stress on an engine and transmission before they have come up to regular operating temperature is tough on them. But when you let the vehicle sit at idle with no load for a few minutes, you allow the oil and transmission fluid to come up to temperature so they can adequately protect all those surfaces rubbing against each other. So in effect, by using a remote start system, you are not only doing your butt and back a service, you are doing the vehicle itself a service; and one that will reap monetary rewards in the sense of less wear and tear.

First off, I really like the starter. It hasn't failed me once yet, and being able to use my phone to start my car is fantastic, even if it ceases to be free after three months. I'm not crazy about the installation. The antenna was put in a different location than where my previous starter was, so there is now a spot of black glue left on my windshield where the previous antenna was. And when I asked the installer if he could enable the automatic door locking on the starter, he looked at me like I was from Mars. Those are mostly just little niggling details though, so otherwise this is worth the investment. I also got it on the Deal of the Day, so it was extremely affordable.

This product is wonderful. I had it installed with the Compustar remote starter plus the Drone. This thing is well worth the money. The only thing I would say is before you buy, make sure you talk to your installer and not the workers on the floor about remote start and security purchases and installations.

I have been looking for a remote start for quite awhile, but didn't want to pay a lot for one. This Drone Mobile starter was a great deal! It came with a lot of extras like range up to 1000 feet on the remote fob, and the optional smart phone module also came with it. The best extra was it included the bypass module for my vehicle, which costs around a hundred extra on other remote starter models. And Geek squad installation was also included. This is a great package and it works Great! With my smartphone i can start my truck from anywhere.

This product works great and I love the phone app so I don't need to carry around the key fob. It has a long range and I like that I can see the temp of the car before I head out the house.

It is a good remote starter and has been working well so far. Mr Nelson who installed it was also very helpful. I had tried inquiring about remote started at different places and I thing Best buy is the best option available.

Works as I expected. To be able to start the car from the mobile app is great, but not sure it will be worth the yearly cost. Got it on sale for $299 , plus an additional $80 for extra parts required for my Honda accord. Worth it so far in the cold Midwest. I'm sure I will use it in the summer also. Key fob remote (you only get 1) is one-way, so if used you won't know if the car started or not unless you can see the car. Not a big deal to me, but might be for others. I've only had it for a few weeks, so hopefully I won't have any problems after the short 1 year product warranty.

this remote start is great. Start your car from anywhere with my cell phone. Only issue is that I thought it was supposed to tell me the temperature inside my car but I don't have this feature. I'm pretty sure it was supposed to come with my package

Just got this remote start installed. Easy installation process through the store. So far the remote start is great. Only giving four stars because we've only had it for a couple weeks.

Installation was smooth although they were very booked so took awhile to get an appointment. The product itself works very well. Warm or cool car after work or in the morning is priceless.

I purchased this remote start when it was a daily deal for 299.00$. It came with free geek squad installation and I was pleased with the installation they provided. It was a seamless transition from my old key fob to the new Drone Mobile key fob. The range on the key fob starter is very good and I haven't had any problems locking or unlocking my car. The nice thing about this remote start is that it works with your phone. You simply download the drone mobile App, enter your unit's serial number and create an account. You can start, turn off, unlock, and lock your car from the App. I haven't had any problems with the App so far. In conclusion, I would recommend this remote start to anyone looking for a reliable unit with phone App support!

Colder climates change the rules to the game of hitting the road on a cold morning... unless... you have a remote start for your car sitting inside the house! I do enjoy the easy transition from a warm house to a warm car through the freezing temps outdoors!

This dismd exactly what i wanted it to do! Got it while it was on sale and it has worked like a charm! No issues on my 2007 Acura TL

We have only had the unit for about a month but it has done everything as advertised. What really sold us was the expertise of the installer at our local BB.

This remote start system is great for the Windy City weather

I purchased this DroneMobile Remote Starter for my daughter for Christmas. It was installed a week ago. So far, it has worked perfectly. She does not have to be within a certain "range" to start it, which is nice if your parked say in an office garage. The best thing about this purchase was the Geek Squad! I had an appt scheduled for after Christmas and they called to say they could install it on Christmas Eve! The person we dealt with was so knowledgeable and helpful. The installation process was impressive.

This is a great product to use and has been a great upgrade to my car, you can start or check on your car from anywhere

Easy to download, use and understand. LOVE the features of this and am going to have one put in my other car too!
