worked great when i was out of the country! was able to see what was happening at home. the setup is a little confusing and the wireless connection can be finicky if even an inch away from the limit. had to by router extender, but i needed that anyway.

I have had 3 or 4 CCTV systems and they were expensive and tedious to set up but these cameras are easy to setup and even easier to monitor. Great value for the price, just need to improve the clarity when the objects are in motion, the picture is not that great

This is the second Dropcam I have purchased from BB, which now gives me a second large area within my home to monitor my pets while I am away. I like the HD image, as well as the zoom and nighttime features, which make these cameras so versatile.

After purchasing a different brand camera in the past that didn't work, I didn't expect much from this but I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up....and that it worked! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to view the camera from a mobile device and you can rely on it to record.

The Drop Cam Pro is awesome! A friend recommended it to me and I would recommend it to anyone. I was upset though when I opened it I found it had been repackaged and when I tried to set up my account it said the camera belonged to another account so I had to call the 800 # and get it straightened out. It was a hassle.

I have tried quite a few different cameras I find that this is extremely easy to set up has a lot of different options as far as alerts are concerned. The way that it works with the app is extremely reliable. I would highly recommend it to friends and family And I have and they have also purchased the camera.

I love the Dropcam. Great viewing angle and very easy to setup. I bought two. However, I didn't realize a cloud subscription is important for being able to review recordings. They start at about $99 a year, though they have discounts for each successive camera. Just something to consider, but it is a great device.

Video image from the dropcam is clear, even at night with no lights. I was surprised at the quality. The microphone feature is fun. You can talk to who you see on the camera. The only issue with this device is the lag time but for our use, it's not a big deal. My husband wants to buy another Dropcam pro.

Let me say that my wife involuntarily conviced some friends to buy Dropcams when they saw at work how she was checking on our kids who were home. The quality of the picture and the simplicity of accessing the cameras are impressive, even more so to one of the friends who was familiar with more "professional" monitoring solutions. I think these products are a bit Apple-like in the sense that they are easy to set up, pleasant and easy to use and even though you might be paying a premium for the convenience you will probably feel that it is worth it. The set up is a breeze, just connect to a computer first though. Then set the camera wherever you want: they will most likely catch the whole room due to the wide angle. The subscription is something some people complain about, it's like getting a cell phone though and complaining that you have to pay for a plan with a carrier in order to make phone calls. Again, we think it is worth it, but you can also use Dropcam without the plan.

This is a very high quality camera, but I am concerned with home Internet data usage going forward. I have not had sufficient information yet to show how much bandwidth is used over a month's period of time, if kept on constantly. However, with scheduled on/off times, it appears to be a wise choice.

This Camera is great. I am able to monitor my home from my cellphone wherever I happen to be. It is intended for indoor use however I found a weatherproof case on Amazon so I could mount it outside.....works perfect I am going to get a few more for strategic locations around the house.

I tried and took back several different cameras before i found the Drop Cameras. I have had four of them for about five months now, and would recommend them to anyone. They were easy to install and have been very reliable.

We purchased the Dropcam Pro Wireless HighDefinition Video Monitoring Camera Black DCAM-002-THD. We liked the clearness of the picture and accessibility from other devices. Still have some concern on security but like the product.

I could not be happier with this camera!!! I am currently using it as a baby monitor and it works perfect!!! My wife and I can both view live on what is going on in the baby's room and also receive notification on movement. Super easy set up and use which is exactly what we wanted

Two things make this camera awesome: 1. Resolution, great looking picture and video. Can it get better? Sure of course but it really does look very good. 2. Zones. Being able to create zones and have motion tagged by where in the picture the movement originated is very helpful.

I have several of these all set up on one account and can view video from my computer, tablet or phone. Was surprised at how easy it was to set up. And great picture quality!

Pluses: Easy to use, great picture, good sound. Minuses: horrible support, cannot be used outside, no manual control of IR LED night vision, Some features only available if you buy the streaming cloud service. Let the buyer beware

Device was fast and easy to set up. I recommend ensuring that you set it up with the email you will like the notices to be sent to. They only allow one email for notices, but several people can be added to view.
