I'm a proud and happy owner of this sharp fan. I wholeheartedly trust Dyson and the technology that they make! I was of course terrified to purchase such a pricy fan when I could easily get a bladed fan for much cheaper but it's the whole package and that's why i'm glad to have bought it. It's quiet, it has a remote, a timer, no blades and it's not noisy. I grew up in a household filled with fans in the South so I enjoy the nice hum that a fan creates. This suits that for me as well because it still hums in a soft and quieter way. It has 10 levels of air that it will circulate and that is also super helpful. I sleep with my dog and he gets hot really fast so this has helped immensley to circulate air and cool us both down. A little pricy but overall a great fan and it's pretty too!

This fan is one of the best fans I have ever purchased in my entire life. When you first look at it the price tag offends you... yes but it is so worth it. It pushes the air about 40 feet from it . It is super quiet and super easy to clean as well

Sleek Quiet efficient fan that cools a small room.

The Dyson bladeless desk fan is a wonderful product. This fan isn't as loud or distracting as other fans. It's unique design features create an air flow very similar to an outdoor breeze that is cooling and relaxing.

I love this fan! It has a very modern bladeless design, it's almost completely silent, and it moves a LOT of air in comparison to its size. We purchased it two weeks ago and have been using it nearly non-stop. Unfortunately, last night it started making strange noises while oscillating, Since the purchase was made with a repacement warranty, we're going to exchange it this afternoon. PROs: Attractive Design Operates very quietly Oscillates and tilts to direct airflow Responsive & easy to use remote control Tons of air movement (one afternoon I had it directed at me from 10ft and it kept me cool) Easy to clean CONs: LED display is like a lighthouse beacon in a darkened bedroom Targetting airflow to a specific point could be easier New noise during oscillation after only two weeks What would make this a PERFECT fan is adding a timeout to the LED display (or making it dimmable) and adding a timed laser pointer to assist targetting the airflow.

This fan is great for a small bathroom where a ceiling fan would not work out. It’s high intensity is awesome!

Works well and has a beautiful design so I don't mind leaving it out during the warmer days. I use it in my condo living room and also in my bedroom. The sleep timer and remote control are great features. Quiet compared to your typical table top fan. Only drawback is the price. $300 is a lot for a table fan.

Quite fan with no fan blades. Tower tilts, bends and oscillates to cover the area you want. With no fan blades, there is nothing to hold dust. Comes with a remote control. Does have an on-off button. However, all other commands require the remote control. Only downside - you cannot adjust the LED display brightness, a minor issue in a bedroom.

Super quiet with a sleek design it says on the box "office Fan" but is great and not out of place anywhere. Available in several colors it is easy to set up and the remote control is handy. Expensive to buy but well worth it for the extra money as it is light years ahead of other products out there in performance.

I did a fair amount of both online and in person research before purchasing this product. In fact, I had purchased this fan about 4 or 5 years ago, prior to the redesign. I was so disappointed with the original that I returned it. Needless to say I gave it another shot and its clear that the times have definitely changed. The AM06 is much less noisy and is of noticeably better quality than the original. I would guess I have about 70 hours of usage with the AM06 fan thus far and I have absolutely no regrets. The AM06 has everything you could possibly need: oscillation, tilt, variable speeds, a sleep timer and a remote. Dyson claims that the technology in the fan is actually fairly similar to what is used in a jet engine - I thought that was pretty interesting. The fan is quiet, powerful and looks amazing. Best of all, there is no other fan on the market that can be kept clean as easily as the Dyson - wipe a damp cloth around the rim and the dust is gone. While other fans may be significantly less expensive, the premium paid for the Dyson is well worth the difference. There's no question I'll be buying the AM06 again for other rooms in the house.

If you work in an office and you share your office space with someone (or work in a cubicle where you're near other co-workers), then this fan is a must have! Not only is it super quiet, but it's powerful enough to keep you cool if your office room is too warm or stuffy from sharing it with others. My office room is big and contains a window where the sun always shines through during the afternoon, causing the room to heat up all the time. Not only does it get hot as a result, but I also split the room with another co-worker because it's a 2-person office room, so it tends to get rather stuffy at times as well. Having this fan is a lifesaver and definitely cools me down while being quiet so as not to disturb my coworker. Heck, when my co-worker noticed it, she didn't even know it was turned on because it was so quiet! Sure, it appears too large for my desk, but I don't mind as long as it's quiet and not disturbing.

So it's been about a month with this little fan and it packs more than I thought! Picture it, Austin TX in the middle of the summer with dry arid heat. I got this and all I wanted was something to circulate air differently because the ceiling fan wasn't doing it. This Dyson Fan does that for me. It's so quiet, I can set a timer so that once i'm sound asleep it can shut off and it does not take up a lot of space on my dresser. The oscilating function is amazing and the remote that it comes with is sleek and very helpful during those nights when the timer has gone off and I need to get air flowing again to cool the room down. Great purchase and worth the buy, I have had Dyson vacuums and I don't know why I ever thought to hesitate in getting a fan as well! Very happy with this fan.

This is a top notch fan. Needless to say, it is easy to clean since there are no blades. Like the included remote control that attaches to top of fan magnetically. This fan does exceptional job of keeping the air moving, ventilating second bedroom very well.

Fan is quiet, powerful for a desktop fan, compact, has a remote, rotates, can be easily moved between locations, and is safe when kids are around since it has no blades. Price was higher than expected, but I still bought it and I like it. Worth the extra money.

I work in a hot environment and the A/C doesn't cut it. I found this fan not only looks cool but keeps me cool. Love the different settings and oscillation.

It is a nice product, but for the money it cost I expected more. Pros: very quiet, gives nice cool/fresh breath of air, compact, can be "tilted" and looks good/modern. Cons: expensive, few control options and not as powerful as expected-> For the money I paid I expected a little more power and better control options: the only controls you have on the the unit itself are "on" and "off" (same button) the rest is on the remote (so if you loose it - the remote is small - you loose you control off the unit). The remote can: adjust airflow from 1-least to 10-most powerful (you can hardly feel it about 12feet away) air flow, timer -from 15 min to 9hrs (useless unless you think you can forget to turn it of yourself), and oscillation control (you can not set the angle of turn). Overall if you have some extra cash and you want a quiet unit - which is the my biggest reason why I kept it - it gives a low ambient noise (I used it a few times to fall asleep without turning on AC) and it will be standing close to you, than this fan will be good for you.

Dyson products are a consumer's dream come true. Not only do they produce very efficient & effective vacuum cleaners, the fans they are making available are truly revolutionary. This fan, with a remote, is perfect in my opinion. It is quiet (even on high speed) & the amount of air it pushes is very welcome on a hot summer day. This is the second Dyson fan I have purchased & will always go to Dyson before any other brand when I am searching for like products.

I was very skeptical about any Dyson products and this fan was no different. Boy was I wrong. I bought this to replace a desk fan at work and I can't believe how much I love it. This fan on a setting of 3 or 4 (out of 10) blows as hard as most other fans I've owned set on high. The way the air passes over you without the buffeting of fan blades can be explained, you simply have to experience. I cannot recommend this fan high enough. I am already looking to buy one for the bedroom.
