Purchased a Dyson hot+cool fan. I live in a house with no insulation and no heater. When it's cold, its COLD. The inside of my house is sometimes colder than it is outside. I decided to try the Dyson, and to my surprise it's worth every penny. It heats up my entire room in less than 10min. My friends that come over all mention how quick it heats up the room. On the flip side of things, when I turn it on in the summer, it some how someway manages to constantly blow fresh/cool air. I really enjoy it

I got this Dyson fan/heater on sale as the deal of the day. I can say this fan is well worth the purchase at the right price. I don't think its worth paying the retail price of $400+ but if you can get it for around $250 its worth it. The heater part works great, we have rooms in our house that are drafty and this fan worked great to keep those rooms warm. I've use the fan for cool air within the last weeks. It works pretty good, blows cold air. But with that said I haven't tested it during the summertime yet.

I love this fan/heater. I will never go back to cheap fans or heaters on my life. I love Dyson !

The Dyson Heater/Cooler is very convenient for me. Its "A" quality and I think it is well worth it. I love its digital feature, that tells you the degrees it's trying to get my room to and I like the fact that it's very quiet. The finance was well worth it.

It works well and it only makes noise if it's cranked to 10. It has a sleep timer which I use a lot. But I gave it a 4 out of 5 because my product sometimes turns on by itself sometimes, which unless I have a ghost in my house suffering from the heat too, I think it's not a perfect 5 stars.

First it's important to know that I'm an open-box, second-hand, thrift everything kind of person. I evaluate the cost of EVERYTHING and I hate waste. Our living room is part of a quasi-open floor plan at the back of the house which receives no sun and has a consistent draft from the fireplace (despite many efforts to insulate and cover draft vents). I splurged on the Dyson hot & cool and have ZERO regrets because 1 - the design is the safest in terms of kids and fire, 2 - it is indeed super quiet (the cool mode on high makes some expected fan noise but it does such a great job, who cares?!), 3 - no blades to clean, 4- lightweight and attractive to move around the house where needed and 5 - super efficient; it warms fast (even in an open room), it shuts off when it hits the target temp and it costs less to run than the whole house HVAC, so now I can leave the thermostat a couple of degrees cooler than usual. I debated the Pure model but didn't seem worth $300 more and $50 for filters. Got a $40 purifier off amazon that works beautifully! Also, I'm not sure I would have pulled the trigger if it wasn't on sale...$299 is just way more palatable than $450. I love it so far and the husband is digging it too, which says a lot given that we are so NOT the brand name splurging type!

I've owned it alittle less than a month, but have used it every day to test it out. I love the fact that it's very quiet, looks great, takes up little space, and has a remote. As to the actual functioning...you have to get used to it; play with it. I find that it's better to start it on a lower mumber, say, 72. When it gets to that point, it gets much less warmth coming out. But, if I then put it up a couple if degrees more, it stays on that 74/75 temperature and the room gets toasty and stays toasty. I point it in the general direction that I want, but let it cover the room. I don't aim the steam in one direction. It works fine. I recommended it to a friend and she bought it. You should thank me, Best Buy!

We bought this for when we didn't want to use our heat or AC in select rooms. It's a good size and very quiet. The design is nice to. I like the fact my little one can't hurt herself on it unlike conventional fans. The remote is really convenient and easy to use. I have to use it a few more times to see how efficient it is in the real cold though.

The unit looks great, fits well in any decor and works well. It is nice and quiet, and the heater is warm but not too hot, great around kids and pets. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is the price, it’s a bit much, but all Dyson products are a little on the high side.

Well worth the money. It has helped immensely on the nights where it's just a tad too warm and also on the nights where it's chilly but we don't want to turn the heat on in the house. It's very quiet and easy to use. We will be purchasing more in the future for the other rooms in the house!

We cannot have an air conditioner in our apartment, just because of the way the windows are set up. It doesn't get super hot where we live, but we recently had a heat wave that had all the local stores selling out of air conditioners. We bought this when we discovered our only option was a fan. It it quiet, and really moves the air. With all the different settings you can get it just right. It looks cool, and the little magnetic remote is pretty awesome. We haven't tested it in winter yet, but it also seems to put out a decent amount of heat.

If you can afford it, this is the best heater you can buy. I needed this for my son's bedroom that our furnace doesn't reach very well. When I first plugged it in, it heated the room up in minutes. I love the thermostat so that it's not constantly running even when the room gets too hot. And I love that it can convert to a regular fan when it gets warmer. The design is also unbeatable. No fan blades for little fingers to get caught in, and it doesn't get very hot to the touch. It is also very compact so you can put it almost anywhere, and it looks cool. Another Dyson product that is a cut above the rest. That is, if you can afford it. I bought this heater during the Black Friday sale for $279.99. Would I pay $499.99 for it? Probably not. But I'm sure happy I bought it when it was on sale.

Works as advertised. Simple to use with remote control. Quiet enough to use while watching TV without distraction. The Dyson AM09 Fan and Heater is easily moved between rooms and within a room. It has the flexibility to rotate or stay unidirectional, as well as tilting. I have tried the heating function only briefly at this time but it seems to work well also. I have already recommended this to a friend.

The Dyson Hot/Cool space heater fan is the best heater that is on the market. It is quiet, heats very efficiently, and does not take up much space at all, while heating a large area. I love the different angles, and rotation of it. The heater tipped over once (because of my dog), and the safety shut off worked right away. I use the heater or fan daily and will only by this type in the future.

I wanted a heater that would be safe around my pets but still powerful enough to heat under my desk in the winter. This worked exactly as promised and the remote control makes it extremely easy to operate. It makes a great small space heater on the direct setting or a small room heater on the wide setting. It is extremely customizable and the cooling feature is an added bonus.

I use this fan in my office to keep me warm in the winter without having to heat the rest of the house. I feel it is safer than the old ceramic heater I had sitting on the carpet, plus it circulates the air much more efficiently without drying out the air excessively. It is very quiet, unlike my old heater. I consider it the ideal space heater.

On the heater setting, it heats the rooms quickly. When used as a fan, it has more than adequate cooling power, especially given the size, and makes great white noise that you can control the volume on. The included remote control makes it easy to change settings and power from across the room. Super easy to clean and move around as needed. I have gotten rid of my heater and fan as this unit has taken up permanent residence in my bedroom. I highly recommend this Dyson heater/fan to anyone.
