However, I find the hose attachment awkward to use in itself. Unless you use the hose attachment a lot, this probably is not worth the investment.

I opted to get this instead of getting the fluffy because of price and I don't regret it. The only thing I don't like is that hair gets caught in the front blocking the holes to suck up dirt like a standard broom catches hair. That isn't the units fault it's just something that'll happen.

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The articulating hard floor tool is not intended for use on our cord-free machines. It's designed to fit standard on our upright and canister machines. If you do use it on a cord-free machine, then yes, you would need to use an adaptor.

Makes vacuuming hardwood floor under the bed easy. Very satisfied even though a little pricey.
