The power with this vacuum is unmatched and I love it. The only struggle is the hose extension part is getting some use to maneuvering in tight spots for me, but overall very good and worth it!!!

Purchased the Dyson vacuum and does everything it says from my hardwood floors to my thick area carpets and also tile kitchen and bathrooms floors and the power is great (suction) also when its time too empty it is a breeze one button release the canister pulls out and dumps right into our barrel and comes with all great attachments which we definitely use for certain area's of the house i would Definitely Recommend purchasing to all my family and friends.

Bigger, bulkier and a bit louder than the DC50 Animal it’s replacing. Slightly easier to take apart if needed. More options for checking for any clogs. Easier to remove hair from the roller. Our home’s carpet is old enough and trampled enough that it doesn’t make it look new, but it definitely pulls up loose carpet threads. The extension hose does have some good recoil which makes it tiring if using for a few minutes at a time. Good vacuum for the Deal of the Day price. Glad I don’t have to spend $400+ on a Dyson anymore.

Dyson is simply the best vacuum out there. I had a Dyson DC7 for 10-15 years and then got cheap and used a Hoover and then a a Shark and neither vacuumed up everything as well as a Dyson. It's the little things as well that make the Dyson more practical - the cord length is extra long and I can hit multiple adjoining rooms without having to plug it into another outlet. There are two tools - a cleverly designed combo narrow hard to reach places/brush tool, and then a small stair tool. The store simply in the vacuum. The Shark literally had 4-5 different tools that I stored in a box and never used. Also, the vacuum was easy to assemble and easy to push around carpet or bare floors. The ball design is ingenius. My only gripe is the handle is cheaply made and feels flimsy and stands in contrast to the quality of the Dyson. But considering I bought it on sale and got a Dyson for $230, I have nothing to complain about

I initially had a lot of issues with my delivery which was very frustrating to say the least. After almost 3 weeks, it arrived! I did my complete house which is 4 bedrooms and has floor, carpet, and a thick fluffy carpet for the living area. My floors and carpet have never felt this clean and it’s a new home! The transition from floor to carpet or vice versa is smooth. Vacuum itself is easy to maneuver and pretty lightweight. The amount of dirt and dust that was picked up was scary good! Did it’s job! My only complaint is that it does not work well with any type of thick or fluffy carpet as it gets STUCK and you are unable to go back and forth with the vacuum. Some fluff from my thicker (brand new) carpet got ripped off. Cord is pretty long.

Great vacuum but it is a little heavy, my wife is only about a 100 lbs so i have to carry it from room to room but this should save the carpet as it will pick up most anything! Just keep the filter clean and check it constantly to make sure its not blocked with dog hair and this is the vacuum you want!

Best Vacuum - Its very powerful. We were amazed by the performance of the vacuum. Light weight and very easy to handle while vacuum. With one pass we can see the difference in the carpet look. Highly recommend.

I love my new vacuum cleaner! Seriously, I did a lot of research before I spent that much money on a vacuum cleaner. The suction power from the hose is phenomenal! I have a very furry dog and 2 parakeets and this vacuum cleaner gets so much hair and bird mess out of the carpet every time I use it. It is actually fun to see what comes out of the canister when I empty it. It works awesome on my linoleum floors as well! I haven't swept since I bought it. Nothing comes out when I vacuum up sand from my entry way rug either. The only negative things I would say about it is, the long cord would be nice if it had an automatic cord rewind. And the vacuum cleaner is a bit heavy. But, it's definitely worth it for the awesome job it does cleaning my floors. Oh, and the swivel head is great for getting under the couch and the kitchen cupboards.

Dyson Vacuum's are hard to beat. Especially this one! It sucks up the dirt like no other and it's not too heavy. It maneuvers around like a breeze.

Grrrreeeat vacuum. Super powerful and really picks everything up on ever surface. It is especially great on installed carpet and hardwood, not easy to find in a vacuum. Having said this, there a few things that are not perfect: 1) it is a tad heavy, but perhaps to be expected from a plug vacuum; and 2) it is actually at times TOO powerful and will suck your throw rug right up. other than that, perfection for the price.

This vacuum is powerful! Makes cleaning a breeze. Lots of attachments and it is versatile. Does well on our medium pile carpet.

Pro(s) - This is my first Dyson and OMG I didn't know what I was missing out on lol. This vacuum gets all the things off the floor, ceiling fan, window sill, stairs...you name it. It is easy to empty and easy to maneuver. Also, you can register your device with Dyson -they will honor your purchase from Best Buy. Con(s) - It is super heavy and rather loud. Neither of these would make me not purchase.

Best vacuum I ever had. I have purchased at least 10 various types of vacuums from really expensive to really low priced over my life time and this model is the best. The suction power is wonderful. No need to adjust setting at anytime. Goes from floor to carpet or carpet to floor with ease and the attachment to reach high places just pulls right out. No need to stop the vacuum and add attachment. Love it. I highly recommend this model.

Great suction and easy to use. Easy to maneuver and use.

Purchased this dyson ball multi floor origin almost a month ago. Used it multiple times and can't say enough about how easy it is to vacuum my floors. It's light weight. Moves from carpet to floor (or vice versa) without having to lift the vacuum or change settings. Compared to my older vacuum which has a disposable bag, dyson's bagless system requires more attention because the canister needs to be emptied more frequently. I'm sure everyone knows that Best Buy gives its customer 25 points for rating items purchased from Best Buy. Honestly, I'm motivated to write this review because points add up to reward certificates. But also I'm writing so other consumers can read the "skinny" on products before they buy them. I hope this review helps.

I already had a Dyson cordless vac, and decided to try the corded one. As expected, the machine works very well - very strong suction and easy to push around the house. Does a great job on carpets and non-carpeted floors. It's also very easy to empty the canister. Highly recommended.

I purchased this unit last week after seeing it's bigger brother being demonstrated at the store. I was impressed by the ease of use - removing and replacing the wand into the handle. Unfortunately, within minutes of using my vacuum (and the wand for the first time) I found it almost impossible to get the wand seated back into the handle properly. No lie, it took me 20 minutes of struggling to get the wand back into the handle - assembling - disassembling - detaching- reattaching. When my son got home from school I asked him to take the wand out of the handle and put it back in...of course, he got it on the first try. Then, I asked him to do it again...he quit after 5 minutes of struggle...could not get the wand back in the handle! I searched reviews online and found a few people who mentioned the wand issue...one guy saying he needed to sit down in order to get the wand back in the handle. So, I decided to return the vacuum...had loaded the box in the back of the car and when I lifted the vacuum into the car, the wand slipped right into the handle! Magic. Light bulb went off...so, what the seated reviewer didn't realize is that the act of bending the handle backward toward the wand slightly corrects the design/manufacturing defect just enough to allow the wand to slide into the handle. I pulled the vacuum out of the car and tested my theory...worked every time...if I want to keep this vacuum, I need to bend the handle (at the top) toward the wand in order to re-seat the wand properly
