Other than being insanely expensive, it has lots of features and allows for a targeted stream of filtered air when at my work desk, but can adjust to spread around the room when needed In auto mode, the filters could last 9-12 months. During wildfires on the Westcoast, this provides as much a sanctuary from pollution as you can get.

I put it together very easily but the instructions are not that great. If you are a logician, you will figure it out pretty quickly. As an air purifier, I think it works very well. I am very sensitive to odors and wanted something that would "clean" the air when I cook. So far, this has been really great. It gets 4 stars because it really doesn't do that great a job as a cooling fan. I have this in my bedroom, average size master bedroom, and even on 10 and oscillating, it doesn't help to cool down the room. I use the Dyson app to determine room temperature. It is VERY quiet on setting 1 but very loud on setting 10. If you like white noise, then setting 4 would probably be good for you. I don't like noise so I set it for 1 and it really doesn't cool all that well at night. I start to feel a difference at 4 but it's a trade-off between noise and temperature, so I use my ceiling fan for cooling at night. I do like that I can put it on NIGHT, but the app doesn't always want to connect to my phone. The remote attaches magenetically to the top of the fan but it's a very weak attachment. It's just enough to hold it on top of the fan. Love how you can adjust the direction of air flow, adjust the oscillation, and can also move the body upward. In general, LOVE that I can get rid of odors. I'm disappointed that it won't cool down my bedroom. It's an expensive air purifier with minor cooling as a value-add that doesn't add value.

We love how smooth the set up was and how effective the operation is of this 400 sq ft Dyson Pure Cool air purifier. The remote control makes it easy to adjust air speeds and rotation and get a readout of overall air quality, and more specific readouts of particulate matter (PM 2.5 and PM 10), VOCs, Nitrogen dioxide, temperature, and humidity and state of the 2 air filters. We purchased it because some of our friends have cat allergies and we have cats in the house. The air in the 400 sq ft range feels and smells noticeably fresher and cleaner and our friends seem more comfortable even though our air exchange system appeared to be have been doing a good job already because from the start all the readouts on the display showed no problems. It is reassuring though to have the readouts to consult. We do move it from room to room depending on where we want it operating. It's light but a little clumsy to handle because there are no handles and it is not advised to pick it up by the ring.

Now its definitely pricy cant deny that think it would be fair for around $300 but besides that works great! I get way less sneeze attacks and the quality of air is alot better and not stuffy. And as far as a fan its amazing and works really well! So besides the rediculous price point its definitely top of the line

Great pick up- this has been great for our new house. It’s gotten the air clean and the fan is amazing. I like looking at the read outs to see what’s going on, and the long lasting filters are worth the investment. Highly recommend.

I love my dyson ! A bit pricey , but worth it ! The breeze can be felt across the room! Way better than my cheap box fan !!! You get what you pay for lol . When it rotates to give better air flow , you can’t even hear the movement . The device comes with 2 years warranty . The dyson app was very useful in figuring out what the numbers meant on the digital screen. I recommend downloading that to help you set it up and to keep an eye on the air quality in your house . This comment isn’t meant to be educational , it’s just to share my excitement on my new product !

I have been using Dyson Air Multipliers for years, and just recently upgraded to this Pure Cool unit for my 726 sq. ft. apartment. Downtown LA is a pretty dusty environment, and I am convinced that the Pure Cool has reduced that substantially. Really like the multifunction display. Very interesting to see the air quality dip during cooking, etc. But the DP04 scrubs the air pretty quickly. And of course it's a great fan in its own right. As with all things Dyson, it isn't cheap, but given the functionality I feel it's a good value.

I am so glad we got this fan, it keeps the space cooler while also keeping the air cleaner. Quietest fan I think I've ever had! Still costs too much though.

I bought this for my daughter because she is a serious smoker and also has a large furry dog. I needed it so that when I come over to visit I can breathe. It made such a difference in air quality for me it was worth every cent. I like it as a fan as well. The filter lasted her 10 months but like I said she is a serious smoker so I think that is pretty good. It automatically tells you when the filter is done - and I took hers out and you couldn't believe all the dirt and dust in it. I liked it so much I bought my son one 8 months later for Christmas.

I am so happy with this purchase. It works amazing if you have allergies. Since I bought this air purifier I didn’t need to take any allergy pill (it’s been a month! Usually the max I can go without taking anything is 2 days!!!). I love the app on the phone. So easy to set up and use. It tells you exactly what’s in the air. The auto mode is fantastic. It is a bit bigger/heavier than expected but it’s so powerful that I don’t mind. Highly recommended!

I have forced hot air heat and allergies. I have noticed a big difference in how clean the air is in my bedroom since I bought this. I leave it on Auto and it keeps the air clean on low. When the heat comes on if it senses dust the speed increases. It is so quiet I don’t even hear it and can set it so it blows out the back so it doesn’t blow on me when I’m sleeping. Love it! I have an older model floor unit in the living room and it kept the room cool and clean with no noise all summer!

Seriously where has this been all my life! It works perfect, so many different speeds, directions, levels. It comes with a remote or you can use the Dyson app to operate. You can set it up on a schedule for when you will be home and away. It has a night setting. It blows cool refreshing air. Dyson did not disappoint with this, I'm getting a second one for my bedroom. Its just that good!

It's only been 3 months since I purchased this but otherwise I have it programmed to turn on every night for 5 hours when I go to bed. You can turn on manually, if you prefer. The oscillation can be controlled up to 360 degrees. I currently use it at 180 degree angle. It has a night move, air can blow in front or back, your choice and at different speeds. I have this in my bedroom and using as a fan and air cleaner. It comes with remote but I am using the iPhone app instead. The app tracks the daily air quality, temps, humidity, filter usage, etc. My bedroom is about 600 sq ft, including the master bath and 16 ft high ceiling. It feels like it can cool my room when I have the door closed at night. My air quality seems to be always in the GREEN and my room have NO SMELL! I feel good when i wake up in the morning, no stuffy feeling. Supposedly, the filter will have to be changed about every 6 months or depending on usage. When that time comes, I probably would not be happy. I can just imagine that the filters will not be cheap.

I ordered this after doing a ton of research on air purifiers and finally settling on this one. I am huge fan of Dyson products and knew the expensive price tag would be worth every penny. The product arrived within 2 days and I opened and set it up excitedly. There was no user manual in the box, which I found weird but assumed maybe because there was little assembly required a manual was not necessary? Anyway, after plugging it in and not having any success with the power button, I finally caved and looked up the user manual online. That's when I discovered that in addition to the manual, the remote control that was supposed to be included was missing as well. I finally got the machine to turn on (the button was stuck) but there's not much you can do without the remote, so I knew I'd need to procure a remote somehow because I couldn't even set up a remote on my phone without the darned remote! UGH!! All of this was rendered moot however, when 5 minutes later the machine died, errored out on the screen and would not turn back on. Furious, I packed everything back up into the box and drove to Best Buy to return this defective, clearly open-box item that had been sold to me for full price. All I can say, is thank GOODNESS there was just one left in the store so it was a quick, easy exchange. As usual, Best Buy employees came through with the best, friendliest, most helpful service ever and I left one happy camper. Had I not been able to immediately exchange for a new one and verify all parts were in the box right there in the store I would have just gotten my money back and not bothered risking ordering another one online. On the very first day running it, I slept like a baby and achieved pristine air in my home, This baby is so cool and I just love it. It is a 5-star item, but I did have to knock off a star for all that hassle and time wasted.

I wish I had known about this amazing purifier/fan sooner! I love this so much, it keeps my largish studio apt fresh and cool. The app works great because I love being able to control the fan speed, oscillation and auto mode. Being able to tilt it for a direct blast on me while I sleep for those hot summer nights is heaven. It’s expensive but it’s so worth the price, I love Dyson products.

This Dyson air purifer and fan is a great purchase. We've gone through several fans and purifiers in the past few years. Both were noisy and ineffective. But this one keeps the air clean and with the ability to tilt the fan where you need it most makes it the best purchase! It is very attractive as well and it is very quiet. We should have purchased a long time ago.

I've been using this air purifier about a month and this is the hands down the best air purifier. Had many different air purifiers due to my allergy, this one blows very fresh air and I can actually feel it. So easy to use. With the auto mode, it does everything by itself. I can breath better with this one. Also, it looks really nice.

I bought this air purifier in peak pollen season and also to be the primary fan in my living room. I don't think any air purifier can completely cleanse the pollen from the air in my very green neighborhood, but this one helped. I am particular impressed by the sensors and believe they really are sensitive. Whenever I use the cleaner base for my Braun shaver, within five minutes the Dyson detects the volatile organic compounds and kicks in to its highest speed to clean the air. What's not so clear, however, is how it will sometimes detect a spike in nitrogen dioxide at a random time of day. I mean, how exactly would that happen inside an apartment on a clear night with an air conditioner running too? All you have to do is disable automatic mode and force it back to a slower fan speed to deal with this, however. The mobile app is nice to use. It will tell you information about the exterior and interior air quality, which is interesting for me but possible very important for some in poorer health. I have had random issues with the app and machine losing their connection, but that seems to have improved with app updates and buy a new wifi mesh network. At its lowest fan speeds, the device is nearly quiet. Even in the summer, I didn't run it higher than setting 6 or 7. Now the weather is cooled, even level 2 feels like more breeze than I'd like, but I think it helps to circulate the heat.

This was my first purchase of this kind and I got to say I'm very happy and could tell a difference right away, the fact that I only have to change the filter once a year is perfect for me as well. The phone app makes it a very easy and I don't have to search for the remote. I would recommend

Looks great, is relatively quiet and it actually works! Just stand in front it (purifier side, I don’t use the AC side) and you can tell just how clean the air being expelled is! The monitoring and wireless features are also awesome. Might want to consider getting the extended warranty just in case, which I did. Very happy thus far.
