Basically the best thing about this vacuum is it’s wireless portability and can be taken anywhere besides home. But for its price it’s not worth the flaws that come with it. You have to mess around with the dust and trash before you completely remove them from the bin, it’s not easy to remove the trash from the bin, and breath some of it in its complicated and annoying. And most bigger items get stuck in between the gap in the bin because of the badly designed filters, and you’d need to use a knife or long tool to pull out the bigger items. The bin should be designed with more space. Also for $200-300 we should get more than 20 minutes of time per charge. At least give us 40 minutes to an hour vacuum time. All in all it’s an awesome device and cool idea just missing a lot of things that could of made me %100 satisfied with it.

Works excellent on hardwood, tile and vinyl flooring. Wish it worked better on our thick carpet but that's not what we bought it for.

My mom says she would not be without her Dyson. She loves it. She says it gets used far more than her regular upright vacuum. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because the vacuum doesn't come with the attachment that is the long rectangular shape for getting into the narrow places. The attachment has a slanted opening. I had to purchase this separately.

Dyson makes the best vacuums, everyone knows that and that's why people pay the premium price. I actually got this as a Best Buy Deal of the Day for $200 a couple weeks ago, which when I saw this deal I bought immediately because I thought it was a mistake. This is an excellent product that is very lightweight, portable, cordless, maneuverable, easy to use, and still one of the most powerful out there. I use it on my hardwood floors and it works great and doesn't damage them. There's also 2 separate motor heads with one specifically for delicate floors, but I haven't even used that one yet. It also comes with many various attachments (more than a normal vacuum) that allow to clean things up high, like ceiling fans or drapes, and hard to reach areas in both your house or car. Overall, if you do the research you'll learn that people who spend the money on a Dyson usually never regret it and often don't ever buy a different brand of vacuum going forward. I highly recommend this model, but they do offer multiple variations that each cater to a slightly different niche so figure out which one would be the most useful for your needs.

We love this little Vac!! Some of the other concerns about battery life are true but this is not a whole house vac. This is the perfect "quciky" clean up vac. It's light, powerful and works great on wood floors, carpets, and stairs! I love that it hangs on the wall and charges. This is the perfect companion vac for our full size Dyson Pet vac!

It’s really nice. Light weight and very easy to use. In Max Power battery doesn’t last long, they do mention that so no surprise there. My wife has been asking for this for a long time and she seems to be very happy with it. It’s fine for a small house, especially if you have small kids, might end up using it twice a day. Also for the price seems good. I don’t know how much better a V8 would be, but it’s twice as much money. This one does a good job for what it is.

I have 2 dogs that shed daily, I have 2 other small hand vacum cleaners that fail to really remove all the hairs. This vac was sooo light , I thought it was broken or missing something, the power of the cordless unit is amazing! Love the attachments.,Very easy to use. Filter tricky to detach. Love love my DYSON. Disappointed to see that it was 15 % less just 2 weeks after I purchased it.

I've had my eye on this little vacuum for about a year now. I really wanted a cordless vacuum. Actually, I want everything including all my power tools cordless now these days as well. On that note, I must say that I love the design of the wall mount with the charging cable that fits right in every time you mount it back up. Since this Dyson vacuum is the only contender on the market, the only comparisons I had to make was between the least and most expensive one. I realized that each model of these Dyson vacuums are all the same. They are the same in power and same in size. The only differences are that they come with extra attachment options and they come in different colors. Well, as for me I'm most definitely not getting the pink or purple ones (maybe Dyson should rethink their color scheme since this product also appeals to men). So my choice was between the white one (cheapest) and the red one (most expensive). As I said, the only difference is the attachment handles, so I went with the white one. I don't really need all those extra attachment handles. And if I did want to buy them separately, I'd still be saving money because they're cheaper to buy separately than in the bundle all together with the red (more expensive one). I thought this would be a good point to make for any consumer to read before buying the most expensive one. Most expensive is not always the best. They all work the same. The only thing I wish this product had was a longer lasting battery. Longer battery life with the new Lithium-Ion battery technology they have these days is very important.

This is a great vacuum. Assembly is quick and easy. The vacuum is simple to use and picks up things quickly. It is great to use on both my carpet and hardwood floors. The best part about it is that it is cordless. Makes it so much better. As others have stated, it does lose charge pretty quickly but I am able to vacuum two-three rooms with no problem, I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Although the product may lean toward the pricy side, it is worth the buy. Very easy to maneuver, gets into the smallest spaces, and is pretty lightweight. Has two suction modes: normal, and extreme. The only downside is that the power only last for about 15 minutes before you have to recharge it. Aside from that, I haven't stopped using it since the day I took it out of the box.

So I needed a new, light weight vacuum because we moved into a town home with stairs. I started my research and these dysons kept popping up to be the best. I wasn't crazy about spending $600 on the newest version, so I decided to take a chance and try the V6 model. I didn't get the "animal" model but I do have one very long haired cat. The difference is that the V6 animal comes with more attachments. The vacuum is AWESOME. The other reviews are true, this model is really only good if you are the type that vacuums every other day or so. The battery lasts ~20-25 min, it seems like a short amount of time but I've actually been able to vacuum our townhome very thoroughly twice over. I've already recommended this to all of my friends and would buy this again in a heart beat.

Purchased this for my condo after using one before. An excellent piece of kit, so handy for all those hard to reach places, like under the sofa, without having to stop to change tools. And with no cord, can go from room to room easily. Works equally well on hardwood, tile or carpet. The 20 minutes of battery life is plenty to go around everywhere, with no loss of suction, and then empty it and recharge ready for next time. Be aware the first time it comes out of the box that the max button (for extra suction) is switched on,so switch this off before using because that's why you read reviews that say that it stops working after only a few minutes. My only negative comment is that at my local best buy store the display model was shown with 2 extra tools, but you only get one extra in the box. Worth every dollar, so get one.

I am obsessed with this vacuum. Does it suck? You bet it does!!! This vacuum is awesome. I love that I don’t have an annoying cord following me around. The battery could last a wee bit longer but I don’t really care....I just plug it in and finish the job later.

Great vacuum. No cords to get in the way. Charge last a long time easy to empty and really gets up the dirt. It is lightweight and goes anywhere. Easy to do upstairs downstairs and the car. I just love it.

Cordless, good suction, lightweight, lasting battery power, and reliable brand. This product is worth the extra premium compared to the other brands I've tried. Simple and versatile. We use it for the home and the car. Very happy with this purchase.

It is lightweight, powerful, and does the task. Great for hardwood floors and for our carpet. Also make it easy to vacuum the carpet on the stairs. No need to pull out our old vacuum which was big and heavy. Love it!

This is a great, small vacuum. Works for stairs and other hard to clean areas like cars and small closets. This is NOT for large areas. The battery is not designed to go for long periods of time. I do recommend this Dyson but just know it will not clean an entire home

Great lightweight vacuum. Powerful suction. Does everything it says and more. Very satisfied with this purchase. Only downside is the battery is very poor.
