Danny McBride starts his tale of baseball god gone teacher

This is a great series with some funny writing and great comedic acting. Even if you are not a baseball fan, you will laugh at the rawness of this man's struggle to get back to the top of his game. You do not want to like Kenny Powers, but you can't help cheering for him. He is unfiltered and unapologetic.

This is one of the funniest shows in the history of television in my opinion. But some people will totally hate it. It is crass, vulgar, off color humor. Classic HBO series.

Man I love this season. As is the case with all EB&D seasons, this is a great box set worthy of multiple revisits. HBO always puts out great Blu sets, and this one is no exception. Fun bonus features too.

If you're not a fan of vulgar language, this show is not for you. I, however, do not mind and think it makes the show. Kenny Powers (Daniel McBride) is the funniest character I've seen in a long time.

Kenny powers is a legend. Great humor and super clear picture. Best buy sells it for an affordable price which is awesome.

This show is very unique and gets away with a lot of jokes on the first episode although the start of this season is a bit rocky in that they over explain the situation of the protagonist.

Danny McBride is Kenny Powers. He totally makes this character larger than life. A hilarious HBO show, but lots of crude humor and fowl language. Definitely not for kids.

This is the second season. This show is hilarious. We saw an episode in Vegas and cracked up the whole time.

This series is good for a mindless diversion like the Airplane or Animal House humor. The acting is weak but the humor still makes it worth the view.
