I first purchased the W1 right before this model was released. I have a 2 story great room and made the purchase specifically for the higher, hard to reach windows. On all one the higher windows, they W1 lost suction and fell. I noticed this model has better suction, so maybe it will work? Wrong… At least it didn’t fall, but it still lost suction on the windows. The other design flaw in my opinion, is it only runs on battery power. When it’s plugged in, it will not run while charging, and it will not charge while running.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I went in with low expectations, but a lot of dirty windows including some tall ones that were very hard to reach to clean. I'm now very happy because I didn't have to hire a professional window washer and my windows look better than they have in a long time.
This little robot is not a miracle worker. It does not use cleaning solution, so what it does is essentially thoroughly wipe a window with a damp microfiber cloth. This won't get off stubborn stuck-on stuff (at least on the first try), but in my case the windows look quite a lot better after running the robot and then going back to hand clean a few spots here and there is super easy.
It's not entirely effortless. Large windows take around 10 minutes per window on thorough clean mode, and you have to remember to go back quickly (it's suctioning to the window on battery power, total battery seems to be around an hour), and you have to thoroughly rinse the pads and add some water. Still, it does its job, and I'm very happy to have it!
