Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the ease of use, coverage, and setup of the Pro Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System. Many appreciate the improved range, performance, and signal strength, resulting in a better overall experience. However, some customers find the price to be expensive, and a few have noted that the units can get warm. While some buffering issues were reported previously, the system largely resolves these problems for most users.

The eero Pro Mesh system transformed my home wi-fi experience into what I always expected. It was super easy to setup with the phone app. I have my router in the basement and the wif-fi signal was always spoty in the first level and weak at the the second level. I tried a range extender but had to deal with connecting to a new network name as I moved around the house. The eero solved my problem. I have one network name and a solid signal throughout the house. I have one eero placed at the center of each level. and there are no weak spots anywhere in the house. Even with all four family members at home and many smart devices connected to the wi-fi there are no issues. The phone app is also great. I am able to check the speed and organize all connected devices by type. I even setup a guest network so that we don't give out the network password. Excellent product!

I replaced Netgears Orbi with 3 of these earlier in the year. I just got this one to extend out 100ft into my yard. Works great. I can't recommend these enough and warn people away from the Orbi system. I had nothing but problems and the customer service was the worse I have ever experienced. Enough that I just threw away an $400 system and bought the Eero. You'll love this.

I really didn’t want to pay this much money for a router BUT I’m so glad I did! I don’t have any more dead spots in the house. Perfect range and consistent coverage plus now I’m actually using all the my internet speed. Very easy to set up. I recommend it.

The Eero Pro is the best WiFi system yet, my speeds are great and can manage all access from my phone and I have 3 zone which are all seamless, without me having to move to another WiFi. This is not an extender however it is a duplicator is more what I call it! I will never use anything different!! It is also perfect to know who is at the house because if they jump on my WiFi I can see it from my phone ssshh don’t tell the kids that :)

I am very impressed with this Erro Pro Mesh Wifi System ... I have all 3 Erro units hardwired with CAT5 cabling and the data speeds look fantastic ... it was easy to setup and I like the phone app that it works with ... this system is a little on the expensive side but well worth it if you have a large home ... my 4100 sq. ft. (main level and finished basement) ranch home no longer has any wifi dead spots! Best wifi system I have ever owned. If you want maximum data throughput you will need to be able to connect the Erro units together with existing CAT5 cabling in your walls and depending on what and how many things you want to hardwire with a data cable to each Erro unit you may also need some 5 port switches. Each Erro unit only has 2 data ports.

My previous router (N7000) was good, but could not reach the far corners of our 2500sqft home. We have a 1000mbps fiber package and getting maybe around 15mbps (2.4ghz) in the far reaches of the home. I really did not want to start drilling holes and running cables through the home so decided to try a mesh system. Eero took about 15min to set up and all devices connected right away. I can now get around 150mbps (2.4ghz) in dead spots and close to 600mbps on 5ghz when close to the hub node. I decided to go with the pro since it is tri-band and has ethernet ports on each node. The system is fairly smart, it will change wifi channels if it senses too much congestion. Each node will transmit 3 signals in each band but you will only see one SSID. Note that this setup does not give you full access to network settings. The Eero was designed for the average user (like me) to set up and walk away. Side note regarding signal and speed: I've read few negative reviews about slow speeds or drop offs, but I think these are misleading. If you try to do a speedtest from a subsequent node, the actual speeds will be much less than the hub. Tie in network congestion (your neighbor's wifi's) with a weak signal, you will get poor results. Walls, TV's, glass, or even water can reduce your wifi signal. By all means, I am not a network programmer, but a little research goes a long way. If your experiencing connection speed issues at far reaches of your home, evaluate what is the probable cause instead of complaining that your product is not working. My deadspots had wifi coverage, but my neighbor's wifi signal was interfering with my signal. My solution was to either hardwire another access point to boost the signal (which required drilling) or try the mesh system. The latter was the easiest solution.

Very easy to set up and get running. User error is what cost me some time since I got a new modem and had to get that set up. The coverage is awesome. We have a 2300sqft house which is small for what this can cover. But there are no places in the house now that have low signal or no signal. Had a 2-in-1 before and will never do that again. Range for my Arlo cameras is unbelievable and have not had any issues with the cameras going offline since changing to this mesh network. We have anywhere from 10-15 devices running at the same time and there has been no issues at all.

I wanted to upgrade my old Apple router and this was a simple set up with lots of great features. It's hard to believe but my speeds tripled guess I needed an upgrade bad. All my devices affiliate quickly. I really am happy with this router plus my coverage increased. I may add an additional node in the future I recommend this product.

Many of us experience wi-fi issues and your cable company isn’t going to care. It’s on you. I bought the eero system that has 3 “pods”. My “delivered” internet speed immediately doubled, and sometimes it’s tripled, from the single point system I had. I never lose a signal in the house and the system is currently supporting 8 devices. The app is great as it constantly runs speed test to assure it’s performing up to expectations. Granted, it is expensive; but, I found it to be such a relief to pay once and simply know your system is going to work and work well. It’s a system I’d recommend without question or the slightest reservation. As an aside, if you’re not technically savvy, the system is incredibly easy to set up. I’m fairly methodical and had the entire house up and running in 15 minutes.

I am that guy that goes through tech fast. I have tried many different wifi solutions, starting with he apple airport extremes, they were good units, but are outdated and expensive. I moved to a Orbi system and those are complete junk. Decent coverage but not comparable with many devices. Next try was the Amplify system. Reliable and no issues other then the extenders are limited to two and no ethernet ports on them. Plus you need to aim them at the main router. Lastly I tried Eero. I now have extensive setups in both my homes. Not only are these units super fast (get consistently over 100mb and most of the time over 200 on wifi with a 300mb in from provider. ) but super reliable. All devices work with them and you can add an unlimited number of extenders which is awesome if you have a huge home and or property. Very satisfied with these, been a user for just over 6 months.

eero Pro Plus WiFi System is the easiest wireless network that I've ever set up. It literally took 15 minutes from start to finish. I kept thinking I goofed up and missed some steps. Nope. It really was that easy. The Android App is clean, crisp, and easy to understand. It's performance is phenomenal! My previous wireless network was good. eero Pro Mesh blows it away!! It easily doubled internet speed. Speed tests on my original network: 32.73 Mbps. Testing on the same server on the Eero network: 78.42 Mbps. This test was done during a high usage time. I have 100 Mbps service. I can't recommend eero Pro Mesh WiFi System enough.

As I added more and more wi-fi dependent things to my provider's router, buffering and interruptions became more frequent. The addition of cameras and Hue lights also challenged the range of the router. With the help of a store technician I decided to give the Eero a try, taking advantage of the mesh technology. holy mackerel! I know just enough about wi-fi to get myself into trouble, but the Eero system was nearly plug and play. I didn't even have to change my password. It quickly recognized my wi-fi and hardwired connections and began to prioritize their use. I've had the system about three weeks now and there is no more buffering even when streaming to the TV. With the two units, my wi-fi range is anywhere on my 1/3rd acre, indoor or out. The system isn't cheap, but ease of set up and systems capacity makes it worth it to me.

This product provides high speed internet throughout my home in every room, my yard and even on the street outside my home. If you’re looking for consistent high speed coverage, this will do it. I do have 2 issues with this product. For starters, the price. I paid over $500 for this wireless router and the reason I could justify the cost is because my wife and I both work from home and we have two children doing online school. I needed WiFi that would reach every room with good signal strength and this was it but $500.00 was a big price to pay. The second issue I have with it is, you can’t choose between the 2ghz or 5ghz frequency. That may not be an Issue for some people but I have a smart home and most of my devices operate on the 2ghz spectrum. That being said, if you have smart locks, smart garage door opener and cameras, you may want to consider a different wireless router. For these 2 reasons I give this product 4 stars. If they could lower the price and allow you to switch between 2ghz & 5ghz. Hands down this product would be a solid 5 Stars in my book.

After much research and debate I decided to purchase the eero system for my house. I had been dealing with dead spots in the house in spite of having multiple access points. This system was a piece of cake to setup and the dead spot problem is gone once and for all. It's a bit on the pricey side but it couldn't be easier to install and it just works.

I've been using the eero Pro for a few weeks now. I've been impressed by the coverage the system provides in my two story home. We get solid throughput throughout the house. Setting up was easy, aside from a brief hiccup when downloading the software update. It seemed to go find on the second try. The iOS app is intuitive and easy to use.

Eero is one of the leading mesh systems out right now. I have been very pleased with the performance so far. Eero issues regular updates and has improved the performance over time. Very simple to setup, and the iOS app is easy and intuitive. It is one of the pricier systems, but it has been rock solid in my experience with the latest updates.

The router got moved to a building detached from the main house. A WIFI extender worked poorly. The eero mesh system installed easily. I only had to move the middle unit once to get the best signal to the house. The end unit is in the middle of the main house and covers it extremely well. No dead spots. Wireless is as good as when the router was in the house, if not better. Range is very good with the Pro Mesh. And as a bonus, it was on sale! Phone app for setup was easy for me to use. I am an IT pro and have set up warehouse access points for wireless systems. I wish I had this back in the day. eero makes things very easy.

I was first using Apple airport extremes and they worked fine, just dated and I needed more coverage. I purchased the ORBI system and it was fast and coverage was good, HOWEVER after a month or so of troubleshooting issues, I realized the routers were junk. Tons of dropouts, devices would not connect, or they would, but not get to the internet, sonos was sparatic, etc. Last ditch effort was the Eero. WOW! easier setup, faster speeds, way better coverage... PLUS, you can add as many units as you want to make a massive network. Been using Eero for 2 months now with zero issues. Great product. Thanks!!! FYI, using in a 4200sq ft home, 300M speed from provider. All rooms and outdoors get a min of 100 on wifi at its worst. Most of the time see 200+

Best WiFi I have ever had. I’ve never had to reboot these. This system has been the fastest and most reliable I have ever owned. The options and ease of use are incredible. The area of coverage is astounding. They are easy to hide and don’t light up too bright to bother anyone in the dark. The ability to label each device connected to it and to make categories of people for each of their devices is awesome. I’d say the price is worth it. If you want great coverage, never have to reboot the router, and amazing speeds then this is the system for you.
