This is an awesome machine. Paired with the matching pedestal, the front load is a great help for me physically. I've been using it well over a month now; to say it's superior to other washers I've owned would be a huge understatement. It's incredibly quiet and stable. The choice of settings is amazing, but not overwhelming because the washer won't let you select settings that don't jive with each other. Because of the digital components, the washer takes a few seconds to "wake up" before letting you proceed, not a problem, just a surprise the first few times. After pressing start, the door locks itself before starting. The washer senses (weighs?) the load to auto adjust the time required for final settings. To add items afterward, just hit pause and the door unlocks after it stops. All wash cycles are very gentle, but thorough. Love the steam setting for sanitation and cleaning of heavily soiled items. After doing a full afternoon of laundry, there will be drops water on the door and in the gasket. Just a quick wipe takes care of that. The manual suggests occassionally leaving the door open overnight to let the unit completely dry out. People who complain of mildew or mold in washers that have a steam setting might not be doing this. I've only done it once; have never smelled anything other than fresh before or after use. Running a short spin only cycle after removing the laundry is another option. I can already tell that energy savings will more than help pay for this great machine.

It' s fairly quiet, has numerous settings, and easy to use. My wife showed me once how to use it and that's all it took. It has the look of quality and so far has performed as such.

Same price or less than the other HE front loads but Quiter, faster, less vibration, better cleaner. I've owned Samsung , LG, Amana, Electrolux is awesome

This is hands down the best washer I've ever had. Uses little water and cleans the clothes extremely well. I used to have to always do an extra rinse cycle, but not with this machine although it is an option. Love the variety of settings available.

Love the reversible door! Only reason I bought this washer is Electrolux is the only brand that has it. In my setup, I need the door to open on the other side, and I can't swap the washer/dryer to correct this, so this part is great. Also love the interior light! My old Bosch/Siemens didn't have that. Now the flaw. Because of the design of the door, whenever you open it after a wash, you invariably get a few drips of water on the floor or the door trim ring. This isn't a huge deal, but it is annoying for a nearly 1000.00 washer. My old front loader didn't have this design flaw. As for quietness, it is very good. Cleaning I would say is OK, not great, but I haven't had any real tough stains yet for a good test. Overall, I am satisfied.

I love my new washer and dryer and pedestals. The washer is so quiet, I don't have to turn up the sound on the TV any longer. You can't hear it's running.

Purchased August 2012, its never been right. Has been serviced more than 6 times for the same disfunction. I'm replacing it. Poor warranty and customer service. They continually want to sell me an extended warranty to fix problems that shouldn't have happened this early on in my personal opinion. The machine doesn't wring out the clothes in the final rinse. They come and fix it and then it breaks a few months later and has to be fixed again. Stay away.

Machine stopped working after only 6 months. Electrolux then takes 2 weeks to receive the part. Next step would be to fix it which is not guaranteed. Ridiculous!!! You've been warned. Do NOT buy this brand or machine!!!!!!!!!
