This vacumm picks up everything! It does hard floors just as good as carpet its not a very loud vacumm either! Its the best vacumm I've ever had!!!!!!

Does a good job of cleaning up pet hair, dust and cat litter that's been spread around litter boxes. Very easy to empty the dust cup without having it blow back in your face. This replaced my first generation Dyson which was a great vacuum. This Electrolux seems to clean just as well at about $100 less and it's much easier to deploy the hose and hand tools device. I miss the traditional crevice tool, however. The so-called corner tool is clunky and difficult to keep spread out flat on the floor. It doesn't reach into the small areas such as the spaces between cupboard and fridge or stove. Also, despite the lighted icon on the front of the vacuum, it's difficult to determine what the floor setting is on although this should not be a reason to not consider buying this vacuum. I haven't yet used the reverse brush cleaner yet but if it does work the way the booklet says it does, that in itself would be a good reason to consider this vacuum.

I thought my old vacuum worked well untill I used this one. Now I can see how dirty my carpets really were. So Gross!!! I used my old vacuum two days before getting this one. The Electrolux was almost full with stuff the old one did not pick up. It picks up pet hair like a champ! I would recommend this to everybody!

My vacuum broke today so after some research I purchased this one. When I got home I decided to re vacuum the carpet where I was vacuuming earlier just to see if anything came up. Well, I am amazed at the fine gray dirt it pulled out of my carpet! It looks like the canister has 2 cups of dark gray flour inside of it. I am extremely impressed & with this vacuum. I am shocked at how dirty my carpet was even after vacuuming earlier today. It can be adjusted to 3 different levels to accommodate different types of carpet and you can turn the roller off so you can vacuum hardwood floors.

I bought this vacuum cleaner thinking it was going to be really good quality because of the brand and also the price, I was wrong. Don't get me wrong the suction and cleaning power was much better then my cheap Eureka I was replacing but the overall quality was not very good. It seemed cheaply made and the instructions were horrible!! Once I had it all put together I was shocked on how the height adjustment switch was made of a cheap plastic. I just knew it wouldn't have lasted long. Also, it was very hard to push across the floor when vacuuming. If I am spending $300 I would have thought there would have been better instructions with it and would have been made of better quality materials. Think twice before buying this vacuum cleaner. I purchased this machine at 10am and by 2:30pm I was back at Best Buy returning it.

I bought this vacuum because I have long hair dogs and the hair jams up every vacuum I've had. This is the only vacuum with the self cleaning roller brush that cuts off all the hair wrapped around it so it will never jam up on you. This has been a godsend for me, I love this vacuum, and for the money, it can't be beat if you have long hair animals.

Much better than the old hand me down vac I was using. Feels solid. Got it for a really good price. BB matched Amazon. No problem. The only thing that seems like it will break in the future is the lever that adjusts the height. It picks up pet hair really good which is what I was looking for most in a new vac.

The valve that is supposed to move when the hose wand is removed sticks. This is the valve that changes suction from the floor brush to the hose wand. I purchased at Best Buy where there is no service available. I took vacuum to a Karl's, a Electrolux Service Provider, and they refused to work on since I didn't buy from them. I have received little to no help from Electrolux. They said they will repair however the shipping to and from is on me. When the hose did work the suction was fine. That's all the good I can say about this piece of junk.

Works great for pet hair on all types of floors. I would recommend it to anyone.

Okay on carpet, but terrible for hard floors. Cheap plastic parts that were constantly breaking. Great warranty that took care of the repairs.

I purchased this vaccum after two uses the brush quit spinning. I took it back and exchanged it, the same thing happened. I am taking it back and getting something different. It's a great idea to have a vaccum with a comb that de-tangles hair off the brush and it has a lot of versatility which is nice but I just wish I got one that wouldent break :(

I have used Electrolux vacumns for many years and this is horrible. The suction is great BUT keeps jamming and very difficult to push on the carpet. I do NOT like this vacumn at all. Compared to my other Electrolux products there is NO comparison. I am VERY disappointed in this vacumn.

I'm on my second unit. Bought the first one in November of 2013 it worked until July. I exchanged it for the current one and I've had it less than 5 weeks and it's quit!!!! I'm taking this pile of junk back tomorrow and hope to get a different brand!!!!!! This is my last one of this brand and it's a shame as they were one of the best ! So if you are considering this unit look at something else !!!

Per title, this is already broken after only 5 months of light use in our small home. The roller does not work anymore and the rubber emblems are peeling off already. I can't return anymore but I wish I could. We now need to bring it to a service center 30 miles away :(

this is the worst vacuum ever, dont buy it. save your money for a dyson.
