This is a great screen! It was simple to install, looks great mounted, and the clarity from NetFlix to movies to sports, etc. is all excellent. The ONLY problem I have is that the cord isn't very long, so I cut, extended, and electrical taped it, then put it behind a painted cord/cable cover.

I got this screen to use with an Optoma HD26. It worked and looked great with it. I then upgraded to a Sony HW40ES and it looks fantastic! As an electric screen for under $200, you can't beat it. I used the 12V trigger from the Optoma and it worked flawlessly. But the Sony doesn't have a 12V trigger. Elite makes a RF trigger module that you can put on the power cable to the projector. Once setup, this worked great too. Elite has all the accessories that you could want, the only thing is, it'll cost you. I got the ceiling kit because I wanted this tucked up into the ceiling, the kit cost $140. The power trigger module cost another $45. So when all is said and done, I spent as much on the ceiling kit and power module as I did on the screen. But it was worth it. I couldn't buy another electric screen with a ceiling kit and power module from any other manufacturer for less. I think the next closest one I found was $800.

This screen has been working great for over a month now, despite my earliest follies. The only caveat was the mounting hardware. The screen itself is not too heavy, so I attempted to secure it using the included screws & anchors. However, the screen fell off the wall after a few minutes (a 9-foot drop, bouncing off a window ledge on the way). I quickly grabbed some toggle bolts and attempted to re-mount. This time, my assistant (who shall remain nameless, because she'd kill me) dropped one end to the floor. Despite two falls, I proceeded to mount and check the functionality. The attached mounting bracket is slightly bent, but the screen & casing look fine. It smelled a little at first, but the instructions suggest leaving it down for a couple days (to cure, stretch, etc.) and the smell was gone after the first day. Plus, everything still works. Works great. I lower and raise it almost every day, and haven't had any issues. Win.

This was easy to hang, and has a simple operation - press the buttons to drop it down or retract it and done. Remote operation works well too. We set up the screen in an area that has a light source (daylight, but not direct light) coming from behind it, and it still displays the picture well during the daytime. Very recommended for those building a theater on a budget.

Elite? - maybe not, but very good

The Elite screens are more affordable than almost any other. My purchase was the ELECTRIC100H. I am using an Optoma HD26, at about 8' away. This screen glides down smoothly, if a little slow. The colors pop well, and the white screen is better for a room with some ambient light. The blacks still looked good to me. The screen, like all non-fixed or non tab-tensioned screens, curls somewhat and mine has a wrinkle at the edge that is a little annoying. Still a great value and would buy again.

Screen works fine and reflects a nice picture, and for the price it is a great product. However i do not give a 5 stars review because cables are too short, you will need to buy a power extension cord if you want it to connect to your outlet. Cable for wall switch is kind of short as well and therefore unpractical. It is heavy so you will need help for installation. however for the price you can not go wrong with it, so far screen works great.

I would give it 5 stars but it was supposed to be white but came in black housing. I saw this happened to multiple people. Maybe best buy can finally figure this out after my review. I also bought it thinking there wouldn’t be a 24” drop. Now it hits my shelf under it.

Says White in the description but it is Black. Began the return process but it because too arduous so I just kept it. It works well with the supplied remote. I tried to program it with a Logitech system but the Logitech couldn’t learn the IR code.

Works as it should. Definitely need some method to conceal the wires or you’ll have 2 cables hanging from your wall. Black border could be a little smaller but not a big issue for me.

The screen was way better than projecting it on the wall. Electric roll up and down so no worries about pulling too hard. Although if you want to make the image bigger you might need a bigger screen.

I picked this up on sale and have not been disappointed at all. I was a little learly when I learned it had to be shipped, but it arrived in flawless condition. Installation was a breeze, my only complaint there was that my studs didn't line up exactly, but I used some heavy duty dry-wall anchors on the one end and it was a piece of cake, especially considering I ceiling mounted it. I have not figured out how to set the limiters yet, and like I stated, the instructions were fairly lacking.
