Originally, i got one for my christmas tree when the subtle noise of my timer started bugging me. Now, i use them on other holiday lights and it has simplified my evening routine. I made a “christmas lights” group and set up some schedules and now they are set so i can forget! I’ve also used them to turn on lamps when out of town. Great product, easy set up. Simplifies my life-like tech should!

I purchased it to control a pump on my aquarium as I was constantly having to unplug it when I was changing water in it which meant me gettin on my knees to get to the outlet behind the stand. This solved that problem and it works perfectly.

Works well with eero when put on 2.4 GHz. Had an Amazon smart plug given to me for free from Amazon that was larger and also only worked on 2.4 GHz, but no matter what, would not work with eero (an Amazon company). This thing works great and even fits into an outdoor, in-use type receptacle cover for Alexa control of outdoor lighting.

The app is easy to use and these add easily to the previous Enbrighten devices I have. I now have four of these indoor devices, a wall switch for our outdoor lights and three outdoor plugs for our Christmas lights, deck and patio lights. Highly recommend!

Tried this in next room, would not connect. My Wi-Fi is very strong, have WeMo plugs all over the house, no problem.. You get what you pay for

Using it to turn on some lights that are no where near the rating of the switch. Trying to reset won't connect to network. Is it the network modem -- brand new and everything else connected even the other same switches. Some times the app says it's connected but then will not work and then in the middle of the night a switch will just turn on at random. Never the same one, so should I buy new ones' or switch to different brand? Not sure
