Full disclosure, I bought these on sale for $110 not the MSRP. I am reviewing them based on the $110 price. I would wait for them to go on sale, and not buy them for MSRP. Bought these to pair them specifically with the ROG Ally wirelessly and they did not disappoint. You can connect them via Bluetooth and both the Bluetooth and detachable Boom-Mic work via Bluetooth. So you can decide to not have the mic attached to the headset, but still have the Bluetooth mic transmit sound in discord. Alternatively, you can attach the mic and use that for better mic audio. The included headset transmitter is USB-A so it doesn't work without a Dongle. However, you can install the EPOS hardware, update the headset firmware and then uninstall the software as the software is very lacking. I recommend using FXSound and adjusting the EQ to your preferred sound. The FXSound software works with the device when connected via wire, dongle or Bluetooth. For reference I have the Sennheiser 800s, the PC38X and while these are not open back headphones, the Sound Stage and Drivers are A Tier for Wireless Closed Back Gaming. I haven't had any issues with Static or Build Quality after about 100 hours of use. Again, I'd recommend them 100% at the sale price. For the MSRP, I can't recommend them especially since EPOS is winding down and warranty may not be available in a year. Keep that in mind when purchasing these.

Even though this is made by sennheiser, a great studio audio company/disturber… this is not worth it value, that’s near $300, don’t forget your taxes… but out of all the many “gaming” headsets that I’ve tried, this has been closer to my expectations, audio is better than others, features are cool, comfort level is better than others as well… I guess I had higher expectations from EPOS “sennheiser” for making a headset… do I recommend, yes but when on sale! Thanks for reading :)

I'd highly recommend these. The audio quality is really good and you can use the 2.4ghz dongle and bluetooth to listen to both audio sources at the same time. The only issue is the EPOS app is not very good and any EQ settings would not be saved to the headset.

I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with the EPOS H3PRO Hybrid Wireless Gaming Headset for PC. As an audio engineer who relies on high-quality equipment daily, I expected this headset to deliver on its promises. Unfortunately, it falls short in multiple areas, including fragile plastic construction, connectivity problems, volume spikes, and an unsatisfactory warranty policy. Build Quality and Fragility: The build quality of the EPOS H3PRO is deeply disappointing. The extensive use of fragile plastic renders the headset susceptible to damage and breakage. Regrettably, the headset only lasted seven months before succumbing to these structural weaknesses. As a professional in the audio industry who handles instruments, microphones, in-ear monitors, and headphones regularly, I know how to properly handle and care for my equipment. It is disheartening that a headset from a reputable brand like Sennheiser would exhibit such fragility. Connectivity Issues: The connectivity of the EPOS H3PRO is riddled with problems. On multiple occasions, I had to repeatedly connect and disconnect the USB dongle for the computer to recognize the headset. This inconsistency and inconvenience significantly detract from the overall experience, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. Volume Spikes and Audio Anomalies: The occurrence of volume spikes and unexpected audio anomalies, particularly during alert notifications, is another major flaw with the EPOS H3PRO. These sudden fluctuations in volume can be jarring and disruptive, compromising the immersion and enjoyment of gaming or any audio-related activities. Unsatisfactory Warranty and Customer Service: One of the reasons I chose the EPOS H3PRO was the advertised two-year warranty and the reputation of the brand. However, when I encountered issues with the headset, the warranty claim was denied, citing cosmetic damage. As an audio professional who understands how to handle and care for audio equipment, I can assure you that the issues were not a result of negligence or mishandling. This denial of warranty coverage was deeply disappointing and made me question the reliability and commitment of the brand to stand behind its products. Conclusion: In conclusion, I strongly caution against purchasing the EPOS H3PRO Hybrid Wireless Gaming Headset for PC. Its fragile plastic construction, connectivity issues, volume spikes, and disappointing warranty policy make it an unsatisfactory choice. As an audio engineer, I am a fan of Sennheiser's other products, such as the e835 and e935 microphones, which have consistently impressed me with their sound quality and durability. However, the EPOS H3PRO does not live up to the brand's reputation in terms of microphone performance, build quality, or warranty support. I have shared this review to ensure that others are aware of my unfortunate experience and can make an informed decision.

There's a lot to say about this headset but I'm gonna try and keep this as short and sweet as possible. I'm also gonna start with the cons because they are VERY important. Cons: Major Connection Issues- I saw many reviews having this same issue, I disregarded them and paid the price. These headphones have some of the worst connectivity i've ever seen in any headset i've ever had. You have the ability to connect to your phones bluetooth while also being able to connected to your pc with the dongle, or and xbox controller with the aux while connected to your phones bluetooth. This feature alone is incredibly cool and super convenient to have. If only it worked properly... you'll get crunchy noises in your ears ALL the time with this setup, and even when you DON'T have it connected to multiple devices. Recently I've had to give up on using these headphones wirelessly all together, because i just can't trust it to work properly. It's extremely frustrating considering the only way i can hook it up to my computer with the wire is through my Blue Yeti, which shoots loud feedback into my ears at all times. This feature has so much potential, it just wasn't given enough attention during it's development. Short Battery Life- I've had these for a few months now and the battery was pretty okay for a while. It would last about 2-4 days of heavy use before needing about 1 1/2 hours of charging. Now, after a few months, it lasts about half a day of normal use... Yeah, not very great. Charging still takes about an hour and a half or so making it hardly worth even bothering using wirelessly. What makes it worse is that you cant hook these up with an aux cord when they die and expect it to work- they have to be charged to be used WIRED. Pretty insane. I've never had a headset like that Now lets move to some of the awesome things about these headphones: Incredible Sound- I've had maybe 15 pairs of headphones that i can recall ever having, and i can say for certain that these are the best sounding headphones I've ever put on my head. It is INCREDIBLE how much better these sound than their competitors. The bass is there but it's not overwhelming, the highs are there but the *ting tings* don't make you go deaf, and the mids are so vibrant and warm. If you're looking for perfect sound, THIS IS IT! Good Mic Quality- I only use the mic when I'm talking on xbox since I have a dedicated mic for my pc. But when I'm talking on xbox my buddies always tell me how good it sounds. You're gonna have to take their word for it since I personally haven't heard it myself since i never use it in my own applications, but I trust them enough to take their word for it. Very Comfy- These are comfy enough to sleep in and that's not an overreaction. I've fallen asleep at my chair with these on multiple occasions. When these things aren't having connection issues, you forget you even have them on. Overall - Do i suggest this headset? Yes... and no. If you're only going to be using these for a console then i highly suggest trying them out. If you're primarily a PC user like me, I would maybe keep on looking as these headphones have the worst connection issues in the industry as far as I've experienced. I'm going to look into seeing if i can get these warranted as mine and many other's have had very poor experiences using them wirelessly. I wish you the best of luck if you get these!

From my son: I am not an audiophile by any means - the sound quality on this headset seems good. Lows mids and highs come through clearly and the bass does not drown out other sounds like with my last headset. Good build quality and comfort, seems like they will last a long time. The range is okay, reaches our entire ground floor but the basement and upstairs are sketchy. Four stars because there is a slight high pitched buzzing in the right ear that comes and goes but is very clearly there in menus without music or in dull moments where only atmospheric/ambient sound are present. After a couple days it didnt bother me but is unfortunate when paying this kind of money for a headset.

I'll start by saying the major flaw of this headset is the PC software. It's a nightmare to get started but once you get it it's there. After 2 hours of messing with it I figured out I needed to enable it to open on startup. The headset is very comfortable and it works with 3D audio on the PS5. The footsteps are much more clear than on my Astro A50 Gen 4s, even with tuning them. The ANC works well and blocks out quite a bit of room noise. After doing an update the headset seemed to handle simultaneous bluetooth and game input well, not perfect. They would be some times I'd get this hissing/buzz while were both were on. I would play something from my phone then pause it and it would seem to go away. This is a no go for the regular $280 but when on sale $100 its a major win.

I love the sound of these. When they're connected, they're great! BUT.... They will often have issues if you use another 2.4ghz device or when you're too far away. Sometimes when it reconnects it will be staticky until you power it off and back on. Still love these and they're a great deal if they're under $150

On sale for $98 Sounds amazing and comfortable. Epos doesn't exist anymore (gaming division side) so when you get them it's a trick to find the software suite, and then connect to the PC to flash the update before they will connect to the dongle, but once you get that out of the way it's a great headset that does dual use easily. Only thing missing is chat/game volume split and control. Would not pay over $120 otherwise I'd go Logitech x or steel series nova 7.

Received them today and have been playing around for a few hours. 1) sound is amazing. Well tuned with good bass response and surprising highs. I was amazed because it's sharper than QC35 & QC25. 2) zero software configuration! So far I haven't installed any program/app. I'll install it on Windows only for the surround effect during gaming. Works on Linux; plug-n-play. 3) connections!! I'm currently connected via Bluetooth to phone, wired USB to PC (to charge + play audio), and USB dongle (wireless) to the same PC. I can hear both sounds on my phone and PC at the same time. You can also use a 3.5mm audio cable. 4) you can charge + listen ... take that QC35! 5) noise canceling is good. Pretty close to QC25 & QC35 but they don't alter the sound! Bass response is higher with ANC as usual but the rest is unchanged. 6) comfortable and replaceable ear pads. The ones it comes with are comfortable, nicely shaped, and have some noise isolation. But a better pair should block out even more sound so I'm going to replace them soon. 7) mic works fine, no issues. 8) a soothing voice announces current connections + battery level.

I purchased this headset when my previous Logitech pair needed to be sent in for RMA. I got them when they were on sale for $99, and at that price they are pretty good. They have a more premium feel to them than other sets I have had, and the materials and actuation feel pretty good. They fit a little more snugly than I was used to (I have a larger head than most), but not oppressively tight. The earcups are also a little smaller (big head and big ears) but the soft hybrid velour / fake leather material don't chafe my skin. The EPOS software suite is a little barebones and kinda quirky, but it gets the job done. At the time of purchase EPOS claims they are winding down their gaming headset division, so future updates are unlikely. The wireless range is pretty good, similar to other sets I have owned. It is able to reach throughout most of my house, and even a bit outside. I haven't used the ANC much, but it's pretty good for blocking out lower tones and droning sounds like HVAC. The battery life is also quite good with ANC off, I use them 12+ hours a day and they don't even come close to dying. Although, another weird quirk is that the headset is always on when you plug it in, meaning that even if you turn it off before, plugging in the USB-C cord will power it back on. Not game breaking or anything, just a weird choice. Also the power on voice, battery level voice and power off voice all sound like different people? Extremely strange choice. All in all, I'm pretty pleased with them so far. A solid choice at $99, but absolutely not worth the MSRP. Buy them on sale.

I love this headset. For years, like since 2015, I had used the Hyper X Cloud 2 as my daily headset on PC. It was a wired headset. Since then, each year I would try a couple new headsets to try and find something better for in game sound quality (footsteps/deep bass, etc) and I couldn't. I'd spend sometimes close to $400 so money wasn't necessarily an object but to no avail, nothing was better than that $120 Hyper X Cloud 2. Well I was at the end of 2022 and I was trying out new headsets, and I ordered 3 with this being 1 of them. Needless to say I sent the other 2 back and this is my daily driver now. And I'm so happy with it. I'm so glad I'm now wireless on PC. I haven't used it on Xbox or Playstation, I have a different headset for those. But this headsets range is terrific. Its battery life is awesome as well. I can usually get 3/4 gaming sessions per night with it (I usually game 2-3 hours per night) and it lets you know when you turn on the headset how much battery if left which is awesome and it gives you updates on how much is left in increments of 20% which is cool. And it's BASS for footsteps in games and in game sound/explosions is awesome! And that is SO important to me and where all the other headsets seem to fail or just aren't good enough. The only knock on it and it is the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that once every hour it seems, like 2 minutes every hour, there seems to be a lost connection with the USB dongle on the PC where you can still hear everything 100% fine but your voice on the mic apparently sounds like a robot or something lol. You can't hear it yourself but if you play with others they always tell me. So what I usually do is wait about a minute and a half (if that) and it goes away. Aside from that and the fact that the quality and clarity of your own voice could be better, this headset is phenomenal. I've finally found my replacement and I look forward to seeing what EPOS comes out with next and hoping they can solve the few issues this model has. I'm officially an EPOS fan.

I use these on my ps5 and it's a decent headset. Sound is a little flat but very clear and sounds good. Mic is actually pretty good as well. I wear glasses when using it and they're comfortable enough. Haven't used the bluetooth yet but i dont plan on using it. For the price it could be better, but it's a solid wireless headset that gets the job done.

These headphones have solid sound quality, the high and lows are clear and there isn’t really a weak spot in the ranges it can reach out of the box (I have not used any software to modify the sound). The ability to connect both to my pc and another device wirelessly is a huge plus. The headphones are very comfortable, I havent used them any longer then 2 hours at once but even for that long they did not cause any strain whatsoever. The only issue I had with the headset was the wireless dongle causing the headphones to have audio clipping, but after I attached the wireless extension dongle the issues went away. I know some people think they are over priced for what you get, I would agree with that for the regular price. Although, I purchased this headset while a deal was going on for near $110. The notmal price of $280 is a little high for what they offer. Overall, this is a solid headset.

This is not a gaming headset in my opinion, for PC at least. My experience with it felt like its made for working in a music studio. Very good audio but if you use the wrong connectivity feature, the audio can sound like a muffled radio. The earpads, although comfortable, started to disintegrate after 5 months of average to extensive use. The headset would also make my audio suppressed at times so people I were talking to would not hear me. The headset would also disconnect randomly which is a common theme with wireless headsets.

I really love this headset, it was the first one I found that fits my ears (they stick out a lot) and it’s nice that it connects with a dongle, wired, and over Bluetooth! My only gripe is that I do get static and connection issues about once every hour or so over the dongle, which can be super frustrating. For that to be happening at this high of a price sucks.
