I was looking for a new printer that would save me money on ink, and this one definitely fits the bill. The included ink bottles can print up to 6,000 pages, so I won't have to worry about running out of ink for a long time. The printer is also very fast. It can print up to 20 pages per minute, so I can get my work done quickly. I also like that it has auto 2-sided printing, so I can save paper. The print quality is also very good. Text is sharp and clear, and graphics are also well-rendered. I've been using the printer to print documents, presentations, and photos, and I've been very happy with the results. Overall, I'm very happy with the Epson EcoTank ET-M2170. It's a great printer that saves me money on ink and prints great quality documents and photos. Cost to print compared to current Epson workstation at home and HP color LaserJet at the office made this choice a no-brainer for me. Will keep the other printers for color printing obviously, but day to day printing this will help drop cost quite a bit.

This printer prints on both sides, and continues printing with ease, without stopping. We wanted a printer that will print multiple pages at a time, without constantly running out of ink. We love it!

Got a software update. Put 5 sheets of paper in tray to test. My cell and iPad recognized it. I printed 4 docs using these devices, then a paper jam. Removed the fifth sheet of jammed paper. Then could go no farther due to message on machine that I must contact Epson because of the paper jam although all 5 sheets in machine accounted for. Not a good beginning.

The Epson all-in-one super tank printer meets these criteria. And to boot, it uses long lasting ecologically acceptable ink instead of toner. Great product.

You need to be able to access both sides of it in order to use it. The paper tray and ink well are on the front, but it pushes the printed paper toward the back and the raised scan bed is silly.
