quiet, smart, and small.
This product is relatively smaller than its counterparts. There is a feature that you can put the projector oblique and adjust the edges.
The only drawback is that it just has one input (HDMI).

Received the EPSON EF-100 one evening, the next morning I unboxed the unit and set it up, cool little projector and a great looking piece of Tech. Pretty simple setup; remove the rear cover of the projector and attach the Epson streaming device, or any other streaming device you may have, replace the rear cover, attach the power cable, and press the projector ON button. Press the Enter button on the projector remote and watch the video guide. Pairing the remote to the projector is easy and signing into your Netflix, Hulu, or any internet streaming app, you may have, is also very easy.
Now came the fun part, finding a suitable place for the projector with an adequate wall to project the picture onto. There is a lot to take into consideration, will you be placing the projector on a table, or hanging it from the ceiling, either way you will have to insure there are not any obstacles like ceiling fans (if hanging from a ceiling), that could block the projector laser and you will need access to an electrical source.
To give you an example of what you can do, I placed the projector on a 32 inch high table, sitting approximately 7 ½ feet from a clear 5 foot section of wall. With a little adjustment of the V (vertical) & H (horizontal) Keystone, the focus lever, and the zoom/telephoto set all the way to Tele, I projected a very clear and sharp image 5 foot wide by 31 inches high. It took a little work to get the V & H keystone and the Zoom/Telephoto adjusted. Another cool feature is to lay down and project a movie onto the ceiling and once again a nice sharp picture.
The fan on the projector is very quiet compared to the other projectors I've used in the past.
We were projecting the movie onto a cream colored orange peel textured wall and still had an incredible picture. Every TV we have seen has reflections from windows or lights and this does interfere with your movie or show. With the EF-100 you don't have this, not having any glare from lights, windows, or doors is very nice because your picture never changes from almost any angle and it remains clear and sharp.
Built in speakers have great sound for listening to shows/movies. I attempted to connect the EF-100 to a Bose 10 speaker via a stereo mini jack cable, my cell phone showed the connection, the projector's built in speakers disconnected correctly, however I never could get any sound from the Bose 10. I tried two (2) new mini jack cables and neither would work.
Remember, although the EF-100 has a small foot print and is very portable, you will have to do a little planning as this is not just a set it anywhere and create the size picture you want.
I would definitely use the EF-100 projector in exchange for a TV if we did not have a quality large TV hanging on our living room wall. The more I use the EF-100 the more I am considering removing our large TV and using the EF-100, it is that good, and I'm tired of the glare in our TV.
Pros:
Small and portable
Easy Set-up & Use
Incredible Picture (Almost Anywhere You Place It)
Great Sound
No Glare or Reflections from Windows, Doors, or Lights.
Cons:
No Cons at this time.

This projector is great and easy to setup. I was up and running in 10 minutes. The only issue I had was figuring out why the projector came with two remotes. I couldn't find anything int he manual that clearly stated the purpose of the two remotes.
What puts this projector over the top are the integrated chrome cast, apps like Netflix, and the projector has access to the google play store meaning you can download new apps that come out down the line.
I used this projector to cast youtube videos from my iphone to the projector to the side of my house with family and friends. It didn't take long for everyone else to queue up their favorite silly video. In addition, I was able to hookup my Nintendo switch via HDMI and host an outdoor Super Smash bros tournament. Another neat feature is the Bluetooth connectivity. I linked up the projector's audio to my Marshall Bluetooth speaker and it was phenomenal! The only drawback is that the audio was sometimes off by 1/2 a second due to the wireless connection.
I always wanted a projector but hesitated due to the poor picture quality that plagues projectors. However, I can say the picture quality from the EF-100 is amazing. It will not replace your TV in a brightly lit room, but the picture doesn't completely wash out either.
I am very happy with this portable smart projector. I'll stop this review now since I need to make it to a family get together where we will be watching Netflix and Disney + movies and shows while we grill and have fun outside!

Pros:
Portable
Android TV
Project onto any wall, ceiling, etc.
Decent speaker for smaller rooms
Bluetooth connectivity for external speakers
Uses lasers as the light source
Cons:
Picture quality
Manual focus
This is a good projector for those backyard movie nights, times you want to lay in bed and watch a movie on the ceiling, or when you want to show some home videos at grandma's house. I wouldn't recommend it for a home theater though, but that's not the market for this product. It is and is meant to be a portable projector. As long as you have power, wifi, and a bare wall, you can fire this up and project movies, shows, pictures, etc. I do wish that the resolution was at least 1080p, however it is not. It is "HD ready" and has a decent resolution, but the pixels are fairly distinguishable and wish they hadn't gone with a manual focus. It is easy enough to adjust though and may make more sense to be manual the more situations that I use it in. Overall it is a decent portable projector though.

One of the buttons on the remote stopped working within a month of usage. Even though the android dongle is connected sometimes it says no input connected. The brightness is good but the picture quality is not that impressive for a 1000$ projector. The image is all blocks

When I saw the size of this projector, I was a wee bit skeptical on what kind of image this would produce. Well, let me tell you, its bright!
Whats in the box: Projector, power cable, android streaming stick.
Setup: Very easy (not counting any mounting or cable runs, just the device itself). If you want to use this stand alone with streaming services and the built in or bluetooth speaker, all you need is power. After opening the box, you take the back panel off (easy, just pops off) and you plug in the streaming stick to the HDMI input and use the USB power cable built in to the projector. Turn it on and you are basically good to go. The manual focus is easy to use, just slide it back and fourth. If you are just setting the projector on a table, there is a built in sliding height adjustment as well, which is very handy.
Use: The menu is deep, but not too deep. You can adjust installation (flip the image how you need it, adjust the "skew" of the image etc.). Set up bluetooth speakers if you'd like, and adjust the brightness/color etc to your little hearts content.
Image/sound quality: First off, is this only 1080P? yes. Does it make a huge difference? I honestly don't think so. In this price range I don't see a difference between this and 4K projectors. I think the crispness that the laser vs. bulb offers make a key difference here. I was very impressed with the image quality. Sound: Is the sound good? Meh. Is it good for a built in speaker for a projector? YES. It works in a pinch for outside viewing or throwing together a viewing party type thing, but if permanently installing, I would definitely want an outside source of sound. Now, this projector supports bluetooth audio, so if you needing the projector to "reroute" the inputted audio, you can do this, BUT beware of audio lag. Bluetooth will have some sort of lag between the video and the audio. It isn't bad, but I'm an audio snob and I notice it. I have this projector set up with a receiver with HDMI switching providing the video to the projector, with audio separate.
Overall: Excellent picture quality, I'm very impressed with the laser vs. bulb output. Sound is good for built in speakers, but wouldn't use permanently. For the price, you don't get much better than this.

This unit comes very well package and the instructions are easy to follow. The basic setup is in printed form with more available online. Setup literally only takes a minute or two. The included streaming device can be used with the projector or another device so that is an added bonus. It comes with 2 remotes 1 for the streaming device and projector together and one for just the streaming device so that you can control it when used on a different device. It also has Bluetooth capability and the option of using it with other input sources. Despite being smaller than what I expected for a projector it seems very purposely designed and well built. Everything tucks inside of the unit so only the power cord is out which gives it a nice clean look. The sound is actually better than expected though you do have other audio options when using the unit. I was able to effortlessly add other streaming apps to the lineup with no issues and actually easier than I have been able to do it on other items I have. The picture is clear with no adjustment needed other than a slight tweak on the focus. Love the ability to change picture angle and size. Tried it on a semi gloss white wall, a semi gloss light gray wall and a flat white wall all of which had texture and it worked beautifully. Granted a smooth surface would probably be perfect but honestly the wall texture visibility is so minor it doesn't really bother me. Though if one is desired a screen can be purchased inexpensively. I see many movie nights in our future with this. It is lightweight and portable enough to take out in the backyard when the weather is nice or on our annual trip for the 4th of July so we can have it out on the garage while we hangout and have bonfires! I think I have found my new favorite device and am wondering why it took me so long!

The Epson EF-100 Mini-Laser Streaming Projector with Android TV is truly amazing! It has the clearest picture I have seen on a mini projector and is extremely clear with both lights on and lights off. Setting it up is very simple as well. If you use the included Android TV dongle, you just follow the on-screen instructions and withing 10 minutes, you are streaming your favorite movies and TV shows. You can also use other streaming dongles if Android TV is not your thing. The back compartment opens up and allows you to plug your streaming device into the HDMI connector and power. If you prefer to use another type of device, you can run an HDMI cable into the compartment and hook up any HDMI device you want. The Vertical Auto Keystone Correction is great as well, it detects the orientation of the device and adjusts the picture accordingly. You can put it on it’s end and project on the ceiling as well.
I hooked my projector up to a gaming console and projected it onto a large projector screen. If you are into gaming, the experience is amazing. Also, the built-in speaker sounds better than I expected. The speaker is fine for watching TV shows or sports, but if you want a more satisfying sound, you’ll want to connect it to a sound system vi the 3.5mm audio output.
If you want to get the most out of this projector, you’ll want to have a large enough space for the full effect. You can project an image up to 150 inches which make for a great movie night or watching your favorite team. I highly recommend this if you are serious about using a projection Streaming device. There are cheaper options for casual usage, but this projector offers an unbelievable picture at a very reasonable price.

I started out being a bit skeptical about the claims of bright clear picture but I have to say.. it looks great!
Now while I wont be using it as a main viewing system we (wife lol ) has decided to use it as a "party/Family" get together system to watch movies etc.
We tested it by taking it out on deck and showing in on a large sheet and it had a nice bright, clear picture.
We still need to get the screen tacked down so there is not sway.
The on board audio is acceptable but we will be using an external audio speaker more than likely.
Setup was a breeze and I really wanted to start using it right away but will be waiting to get a dedicated area in game room and on outside deck.
All the apps on android stick worked as expected and you can also hook up an external source (Via HDMI) if you wish to do that.
Overall I'm very happy and for the going price it's a steal IMO.
