Customers are satisfied with the picture quality, setup, brightness, short throw, sound, price, and portability of the EpiqVision Ultra LS300 Smart Streaming Laser Short Throw Projector. They appreciate the crisp and bright visuals, easy setup, built-in streaming, and powerful Yamaha speakers. The projector's short throw capability and large projection are also well-received, making it suitable for various use cases. Additionally, customers find the price reasonable and appreciate its portability for events and presentations.
However, some customers have concerns about the lack of a Netflix app on the projector, fan noise, a faulty HDMI port, screen compatibility issues, and the fact that it is not 4K.

The Epson LS300 short throw projector was one of the simplest projector to set up and has one of the brightest pictures with good resolution and great contrast. The picture is viewable even in a brightly lit room. Very easy to adjust the image area with corner adjustment. The Operating system the projector uses in Android is not as sophisticated as other smart TV,s but lots of customization capabilities

Great quality! Love my projector I wanted something to fit inside and outside movie night without having to install the projector on my wall. Recommend getting a Chromcast to connect your phone to it.

Overall, a great short throw projector, has only 1080p but very bright, wotbestcwith a screen for vest picture. If you was a 120 inch projection, you will need a table top further out from the wall, a smaller screen, uou can get it closer to the wall, has eye protection

Very good picture with great color density all across the screen.
At a distance of only 15" from the screen surface it is more light hitting the screen than with a long throw projector.
Sound is better than expected and can compete with some sound bars. The Google TV works fine even if it's app store is half backed.

I have enjoyed using this projector. Altho, it still cost a bit above cost of standard projectors and large tvs, which I wrestled with, I haven’t been disappointed with its performance and quality. Hopefully, the life of it will be longer, saving the dreaded need and cost of new bulbs.

I never had a short throw projector before. I am a little off on the limited amount of picture adjustment thats available. I am more used to the traditional projectors. If given the opportunity, I would not buy this again. Great picture tho.

The LS300 provides rich, beautiful colors and premium sound even without an actual screen. Sports, Sci-Fi shows, etc., all come to life in realistic big screen displays. Great price too!

Can't Ceiling Mount, Image is great.

This projector can't be ceiling mounted, so for anyone who is looking, you should know that up front..
You can short-cast, which is pretty cool, but I built my entire basement around projecting from the ceiling and you can't find this note anywhere, except in a downloadable manual, which lists it under safety concerns.
Bestbuy also has a restocking fee for this item, which means I'm basically stuck, unless I want to just give away money.
All that being said, the image is great and I can see it with the lights on in the room, which is why I wanted this particular projector. My basement is a daylight basement and its a multipurpose room.

Great projector, but the distance and height do not match up with what the factory list, plus why not go ahead and make it 4k?
All in all its a great projector, but buy it before you purchase a screen and you will have zero regrets.

HDMI Ports Lasted Less Than 14 Months

This projector's HDMI ports lasted less than 14 months. The projector itself was still functioning, though. Just not the HDMI ports. They would list the name of the device that I plugged in, but stopped showing the picture. I tried running multiple devices directly into the HDMI and still nothing would show up. I usually had it plugged via the ARC to my surround sound, so I never really unplugged the HDMI.. I was told by a best buy employee that another major brand also has the same issue.. I would recommend this projector because it has amazing picture quality, and it's short-throw.. but if I was you, I'd purchase the warranty with it!
