EcoTank is Awesome!

This is an excellent printer that can print up to 4,500 black pages w/out buying more ink refills! It can copy, scan, color printing and the awesome EcoTank which will save me a lot of money and time.
The box contains the driver CD, power cord, and ink bottles for each color. Very simple to load the ink but be very careful not to spill and make sure it goes in the tank correctly. It could get messy. After that, it's just running through the setup and then you're off and running.
Great printing of grayscale and color documents. This is still ink but this is the greatest achievement in a long time! Very simple operation to scan and copy virtually anything that will fit into the printer. Easily print from your mobile device using Epson Connect. High color resolution produces great images. Very nice compact size that fits nicely on my desk.
The ink is equivalent to 20 sets of ink cartridges! This will definitely help me to keep my costs down and not worry so much about printing too much or letting the kids print everything that they ever see! Great buy and will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This review is a result of my personal use and will offer an unbiased overview of both my positive and negative observations while setting up and using the Epson ET-2600. Starting with the setup, the first thing I noticed was how well compact the printer is. It has a much smaller footprint than the HP printer we had been using. The setup and connection to my iMac was relatively straightforward. I did have to connect the printer via a USB in order to initially get through the setup wizard, which was a bit of a setback because the printer does not come with a USB cable. This printer cannot be setup wirelessly. This was not a huge deal since we had a couple of USB cables in a box in the basement, but definitely something to be mindful of if you don’t have one, or will need to go searching for one. Filling the ink tanks should definitely be done with gloves on (as per the instructions), while the printer is sitting on a covered surface, and if you have such a space available- do it in a non-carpeted room. The first two ink bottles opened and went into the tanks uneventfully, but the 3rd bottle was pressurized somehow and managed to spray bright magenta colored ink onto our carpet. If I could do this part over again, I’d do the filling in the garage. Taking the recommended precautions like wearing gloves and covering the desk was not nearly enough.
Once the printer was set up wirelessly and the ink was charged (I’m still not exactly sure what this does, but it takes about 15-20 minutes), the printer produced GREAT looking prints. The images and text were both clear and vivid. I don’t know that I have ever seem a home printer produce better looking pages. This, honestly was very impressive. To see the quality of print output and knowing how long the printer’s ink lasts, it was almost unbelievable. The Epson ET-2600 is both quick and reliable. Our HP randomly would just not print. We would wirelessly print and walk to the office to pick up the page & it just never printed sometimes. This Epson printed every time without fail & the quality of the print never failed me while I was testing this.
As for the ET-2600s other features, I was not as impressed as I was with the printing capability. The print quality itself is great, and the long lasting Eco-Tank ink is amazing but the other features are a bit lacking. The biggest drawback I faced is the scanning capability. It is strictly a flatbed scanner. The need I usually have to scan multiple pages at once makes this printer downright unusable as an office scanner. I had to place a sheet face down on the scanner and scan one sheet at a time. This wouldn’t be that bothersome, except after talking to Epson tech support I was told that the buttons on the front of the printer can only be used to scan WHILE IT’S CONNECTED BY USB!?! If connected wirelessly, scans cannot be initiated at the printer. It has to be done using the scanning software on the computer. I am hoping tech support is wrong about this, but I haven’t found a work around, so it appears as though this is how it is intended to function. It’s like I was time warped back to 1996 with this printer’s scanning ability! With my HP, I could put 7 or 8 pages in a sheet feed scanner, hitting the scan button on the printer and walk to the computer a couple of minutes later and open the newly created PDF. With the ET-2600, I had to line up a sheet on the flatbed, walk to the computer in another room, hit scan, wait, walk back to the printer replace the page with sheet two, walk back to the computer, hit scan again, wait, walk back to the printer, replace sheet two with sheet three, walk back to the computer… you get the idea. What used to take two minutes now takes an eternity of back and forth. I get an extra 1600 steps on my fitbit though, which was a nice unexpected bonus.

As a college student, I need to print off a lot of assignments and papers so I really need a good and reliable printer. I received this printer about a week ago and it has worked great! Setting up the printer was very simple and didn’t take too long. Even the wireless capability didn’t take too long to set up. The printer is nice and small, and thus easy to move. It also looks really nice compared to many other printers I have seen. The printer also comes with a lot of ink to start off with which is really helpful.
The printer is very easy to use. It is capable of copying, scanning, and printing. From what I have seen, this printer is very ink efficient. It uses much less ink than my last printer and prints in great quality at the same time. The printer does not use ink cartridges but just requires you to refill the ink tanks which is extremely simple. The wireless printing feature has worked flawlessly from both my phone and my laptop. The printer prints very fast and works amazingly. I highly recommend this printer!
The only down side of this printer is that it takes 20 minutes for the ink to charge. Despite this, I choose to give it 5 stars because I think it is definitely worth the wait!

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This printer is AWESOME. Yes, the setup is a bit cumbersome but once the WiFi is set up it's flawless. It doesn't do annoying alignment procedures or overuse ink. It prints fairly quickly and in excellent quality for a printer.
The ink reservoirs are engineered to perfection. He reminds me of using eight bottles from when I was a kid to fill up our old printer, needless to say, is nostalgia with a modern twist and I just love it. You can even use free Epson software to print from your phone if you like. There's a huge upside to this printer and the only real downside I've found is the setup process. The cable (not included with printer) is the same as any other printer cable and doesn't require a special, proprietary connection. I'd gladly recommend this printer to anyone--unless you're looking for an expensive, high-speed, photo printer.

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I recommend this particular model to everyone, but the cost is hard to justify.
Personally, I am a big fan of AIO (all in one) printer. This is no different than what you get from HP, or Canon. The only difference is that this AIO Printer comes with Cartridges free printing. Meaning, you won’t be purchasing ink cartridges at all. Instead, you will be purchasing low cost ink bottles and fill the tank (It reminds me of my old fountain pen, when the ink is out, fill the ink). The machine lacks few features, but more on that later. I am going to discuss, what are the good benefits of owning this printer.
This machine is impressive. It is a about the same size as most of the multi-function printers I've owned. The built quality on the device is amazing, not every printer is built the same. The initial set up was easy, download the latest drivers and software of Epson’s website for your Windows and Mac. Epson constantly improving their driver and software, so you can enjoy more features. Although the disk is included with the printer, but the driver and software may be old, so it is best for individual to download off the internet. I really like the fact that this printer supports Google Cloud Print Support, which you may or may not know, but it is a big deal for me. With Google Cloud Print Support, you can print from anywhere. I have my printer set up at home and keep it on always, I want to print something important, so I want to do it right away, so I don’t forget. Google Cloud Print comes in very handy. I encourage everyone to set up Google Cloud Print. The great thing about WiFi printers are that the fact that you can set up on smartphone or tablet. I have an app from Epson, called Iprint, which does exact same thing as the utility on Windows and Mac. Everyone these days likes to do things from phone, so it makes sense to download the app on your device and make a good use of it. The app works great, scans directly to my device and prints from my device.
The printer does fantastic job at scanning and printing. The color accuracy is very important to me, and this printer does excellent job, and in fact one could say as good as more expensive/high end printers you see at work or at FedEx facilities.
I was not expecting the quality that this machine produced.
The Epson website claims, that the printer comes with two years worth of ink and the printer is capable of printing 4000 monochrome/grayscale pages and 6500 color pages, which is a quite a lot. Of Course, I am not able to test their claim at the time of writing my review, but I am impressed with the quality of the printer and it does its job very well.
The negatives of owning this printer is the cost, and it doesn’t feature auto full duplex printing and no auto document feeder, which you will miss a lot, if you have a lot of pages to print and to scan respectively. The less expensive printer from Samsung, HP and Canon have these particular features.
I hope to see these features implemented in the future models. The price doesn’t justify the features. I appreciate the quality of the printer, and it capabilities, but auto duplex printing and auto document feeder is a must.
Overall, I am quite impressed with this printer. On top of the great feature set, powerful scanning and printing capabilities, and ease of use, there is the additional benefit of ink tanks - the ink bottles only cost 80% less than ink cartridges. Epson likes to brags about 2 years of ink in the box, which is very bold claim.

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The printer came packaged securely to avoid damage during shipping. All moving parts were secured with tape as an extra precaution. Epson includes 4 full bottles of ink (Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow). Other items in the box include the setup disc, power cord, and a quick setup guide.
This printer is a little different in how you set it up for use. In older inkjet printers you would install 4 cartridges from the top of the printer. With this printer there are no cartridges to install or change. Instead there are four individual ink storage tanks on the side of the printer that can be filled as needed. The included ink bottles are vaccuum packed to prevent spills during shipping. After opening the bottles it was a simple process of pouring the bottles into the tank. The bottle caps have a tip and a stopper on them to prevent a mess during filling. A quick note: Before using you will need to run the ink charge process.
This printer can be connected in one of two ways (WiFi, USB). I opted for the WiFi connection as the printer was being installed downstairs. WiFi setup will be a simple process if you have a standard router / access point setup that allows setup via WPS. Most of the off the shelf and cable provider provisioned equipment include this feature. However in my case I use enterprise grade equipment that does not support WPS. In this case you will need a USB cable which is not included in the box. After supplying my own cable the installation continued without any issues. I did not test doing a USB connected printer setup. But I assume that it would work as they always have.
When the software installer was completed I printed the test sheet successfully. However halfway through my first print the printer stopped printing black ink. To resolve the issue I ran through the ink charging process for a second time. The printer includes the capability to copy documents and photos using the onboard flatbed scanner. This feature is easy to use without ever accessing your computer. It can all be done from the control panel on the front of the device. Scanning documents to you PC is also available via the control panel or the Epson software. Epson offers other ways to print from your printer such as their mobile application an a email service.
I used have used this printer for the past 7 days and I can say that the printer is solid. I don't feel as if I will have any issues with it in the near future. Other that the few hiccups I had in the beginning everything is working as expected. The prints that I have created have been colorful and vibrant. And black and white documents have came out with crisp text. The ink tanks are still full after large amounts of printing and I feel that they will be for quite a while.
Overall I would recommend this printer to anyone that is :
a) Looking to save money on ink cartridges.
b) Print high quality photos and documents at a reasonable price.

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
The printer was packed well, setting up and installation was easy. The ink bottles were easy to fill the tanks. Just ensure there is no human error to spill ink. The only con was that the initial ink priming time took about 20 minutes, which is not a big deal as we have to deal with it only once in 2 years depending on the usage. Its amazing that I don't have to worry about the replacing expensive cartridges for a long time. I wish they included a link to install the software, but a quick google search returned the software to install. I knocked a star because the Android app could not find the printer after several tries. Another star lost for not having a screen or button for scanning directly to a desktop or laptop. My old $50 printer has that feature. Also was expecting a auto-feeder at this price point. Despite these shortcomings, it is a fast printer and scanner with a good build quality that saves money in the long run. It may not be for everyone, but definitely for someone who regularly prints a large volume of pages.

With the Epson ET-2600 printer, it is a nifty little printer to own if you want to save on money with buying ink. The ecotank refills are currently $12.99 at the local Best Buy store. That is less than half the cost of normal $30 in cartridge refills. Ink cartridges normally would last me about 250-300 sheets of paper. So with the advertised cost of ink alone, it will save money long term. The printer currently cost $279.99 at BestBuy and epson.com, compared to similar cartridge style printers that cost about $50. So instead of Epson making their money of a person over years of buying ink, they are selling the printer for 5 times what a simililar cartidge style printer cost. This is the smart choice for Total Cost of Ownership.
Unboxing the printer was really easy. The first thing I read out the box was the "Quick Start Guide." It is not a Quick Start Guide, but more of trouble shooting printer ailments. Filing up the printer with ink was easy. The next thing I had to do was find a USB Type-B connector cable to USB Type-A cable, as the $280 printer does not come with a $2 cable. After that, I just had download the software to run the printer as the software that came with the printer was already outdated.
This printer is on the limited side of functionality as the $50 comes with more bells and whistles. So it a trade-off, a higher printer cost with low ink cost or lower cost printer with higher ink cost. And if the ink last two years, this printer might die before then, or you might just toss the printer in the trash as it may reach End of Life in 10 months.
I also wish the printer came with an wired Ethernet port, as I live in a wired house. So it is not worth $280 to me, as the same printer with ink cartridges. But if you are the save the planet type that wants to generate less trash, then maybe the printer for you.
I did receive this product at a discount to beta test, and give my thoughts on it.

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Right out of the box this printer looked smaller then I had expected considering the ecoTank feature. Setup took some time as the installation CD and quick start guide were not included in the packaging that I received even though it stated on the box that they would be included. I then had to go to the Epson website to get the software and manuals that I needed. The instructions said that the printer could be connected via wifi using the WPS button on the wireless router. I tried this mulitple times unsuccessfully and after consulting the user manual I discovered that this would not work with WEP setup on a wifi network. A usb cable is then required for setup, which is not included. I could see this being an issue for many individuals as this is not something most people have on hand anymore. Luckily for me, I had a cable that I could use. It would be nice to clarify this a little better in the quick setup guide. When I started setup with the USB cable I was quickly able to get the software installed and the printer onto my wifi network.
Once the printer was on my wifi network and all of the software was installed, it was time to load the ink and then charge. I like the idea of not using cartridges and am hoping it saves me money in the long run. When putting the ink in the printer I would be careful as there is a possibility you will get some on your hands. The instructions stated that it would take 20 minutes to charge the ink and that is accurate. I was a bit surprised that it took so long, which was a little frustrating, but definately not a deal breaker if the ink lasts as long as stated. I have used the printer many times in the last week and have not had any issues since the installation. The print quality is something that is excellent for document printing but if you are looking to print pictures then you will want to look at other options. You will be able to print pictures, but don't expect the best quality. Since I do not print pictures, this fully meets my needs for printing. During use, the printer does seem a little loud, but again not a deal breaker and definately not out of line based on other printers that I have had in the past. The scanner works well and again is on par with any other printer/scanner combo that I have used in the past. I would like to give this 5 stars but due to the initial setup being a little lengthy, some unclear instructions in the quick start guide, and the usb cable not being included, I can only give it 4 stars. Overall I would highly recommend this printer, especially if the ink lasts as long as advertised.

Cost effective basic printing

For starters I like the minimalist design of the printer. The eco tanks save a ton of money in printing costs and take up less space as they are stored on the side of printer instead of moving with the print head.
For initial setup I used the included CD. It prompted me to download a software update which I did. It then went ahead and I tried connecting the printer to my network wirelessly which kept failing. I retried 4 times and then gave up. I then tried the alternate method of using a USB cable which was not included. I used the cable and after an initial fail, it connected and finished setup on the second try. Installation was completed with a Windows 10 computer. I have over twenty wireless devices I have connected to my router and never had this many issues. I have connected three other printers previously, About ten IP cameras, a few phones, tablets etc. I highly recommend including the USB cable as I can see other customers getting frustrated with the install. After I completed the install I setup the Epson connect for printing via email and from my android phone. The local printer search failed but the connect remote function worked. I checked the list of supported printers and it is not listed as supported. Hopefully that will be fixed soon as that is how I do a lot of my printing.
I have another Epson printer the XP-830 that I will compare this to. The XP-830 my previous printer is cheaper and has way more features. The XP-830 has Auto document feeder, a nice large LCD display, a scan to cloud or computer option, a memory card slot, app support and more that the ET-2600 is lacking. The Et-2600 has very basic on printer controls for copying black and white or color. It has one advantage as it has a cheaper cost for ink. When deciding what printer to get you have to decide if it is worth losing all that functionality for long term savings. It really depends on what you primarily do with it. For a small business that prints a lot I highly recommend it as you will save money down the road in ink costs but for a homeowner I prefer the added features such as scan to cloud that unfortunately this printer is lacking.
Overall it prints fast and reliably for basic high volume black and white or color printing. Copying a document is done easily via the on board buttons. I am hoping for an app update to at least allow some more control via the app so I don't always need to use my computer. If you want all the features that this is missing you either have to choose a cheaper printer with them but lose out on the ink savings or get the pricier version of this printer that will allow ink savings and the above mentioned options.

Epson ET-2600 Amazing Printer!

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. That being said, this is still an honest review of this printer. Every since I heard I was getting this printer I've been excited. I finally got it today and have to say I'm very impressed. I haven't owned an Epson in a very long time. I didn't read up on this printer because I wanted a complete out of the box experience just as someone not familiar with it would be. The eco-tank is amazing. I can't believe how much ink they give you just to start off. I'm constantly printing things and one of my biggest complaints is the price of cartridges! It's even gotten to the point that I have literally bought a new printer because it was cheaper than replacing all the ink. Over all this printer was pretty easy to set up. I was a little worried about the ink when first opening the bottles because I was worried I may spill it. I'm happy to say I didn't. Filling the tanks was also very easy with no mess. The way the bottle is designed helps ensure this. Hooking up to the internet and setting up the wireless was also very painless. The setup program worked very well and made it extremely easy, something I have had issues in the past with other printers.
The only con I found was the 20 minute wait time while the ink charges. Though really not a big deal for me, if this were an emergency purchase and I needed to hook up and go it could be a problem. But honestly, I didn't mind at all.
Once the ink was charged I printed the test page. Guess what? No alignment page! printed a test page and BOOM! perfect! I sent pictures, text, used the email setup to send an email to it, used the app on my phone and challenged this printer with everything I could throw at it. Amazing. Quick, quiet, and no problems. I highly recommend this printer especially to those who print a lot!

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
What I like about this printer:
Setup is very easy so anyone can complete it without much trouble. I also like the fact that the printer has four separate ink reservoirs so you only have to replace the ink that runs out instead of a cartridge that may not be completely empty. Ink installation is also very easy and if you take your time and be careful no mess. I think the ink reservoirs is a good idea to alleviate ink cartridges drying out. Wifi and mobile printing are also a nice feature but I cannot comment on the ease of setting these features up or using them as I am using it in a USB direct connection. Printer speed is comparable to most other printers. The size is also comparable to most other printers.
What I don't like about this printer:
This printer has only a flatbed scanner which really limits the scanning abilities to very small documents. A document feeder should be standard on a printer this expensive. The printer doesn't ship with a USB cable. USB cables are so inexpensive to not include one is ridiculous. If you are looking to use this with a Linux OS like Ubuntu there is no direct driver for it. There is a workaround to get it to work but really they should support some Linux based systems since there are a lot of people that use them. I think there should be a sensor for the ink levels instead of just look at the side of the reservoir. Lastly, which this just a semantic issue, you can't really call this an all-in-one printer because there is no fax capability but really who faxes anymore.
In conclusion:
The printer does a fine job printing and scanning and is simple for most people to setup and use. There are some shortcomings to this printer but for the vast majority of people it should work just fine. Lastly, in my personal opinion, I think this really isn't a printer for sporadic home use. I think there are a lot of cheaper printers with better features. I think this printer is more suited to a business setting.

I would highly recommend this printer to anyone who wants to get away from buying the little ink cartridges all of the time. Especially with Espon printers, which eats them like candy. The printer was fairly easy to set up and most of the instructions were fairly straight forward, but this was one printer I actually had to read the instructions, as there were different steps to prime the ink lines etcetera. This printer is different because it has the ink tanks, which is really cool, but would limit who I would recommend it to. For example I would not recommend it so my grandmother who has a hard time even changing the ink cartridges in her current printer. Filling the ink tanks was an easy task, but you have to be really careful to put the correct ink color in the correct tank. I assume you would ruin the printer if incorrectly filling a tank. Also with filling the tanks, when the bottles were empty there were bubbles that formed at the tip which popped when putting the lids back on which caused ink to splash on my hands. Also the foil seals on the tops of the ink bottles had ink on them so it was hard not to get the ink on your hands.
Pros:
More environmentally friendly
Ink cost less & get more initially with the printer
Very good print quality (color and B&W)
Ink tanks hold a lot of ink
Scanner quality great
WiFi setup very easy
Cons:
Have to fill the ink tanks, can spill ink
Paper feeds in from the top
Scanner does not have an automatic document feeder
No USB cable provided, which was required during my setup
All in all I would recommend this printer to everyone that is looking for a quality printer, with the added benefit of not have to buy expensive ink cartridge replacements all of the time, but only if they were comfortable carefully pouring ink into the printer.

Long Lasting Printer Ink

I am already the owner of one Epson printer. The ET-3600. My overall experience with that printer has led me to try the ET-2600. In all honesty, I have tended to stay away from Epson printers for several years due to what I believed was an expensive brand with hard to find printer cartridges. That has all changed with this new feature called EcoTank. This feature allows you to just purchase the ink and fill up the tanks on the side of the printer. What is nice about this is that it lasts. No more constantly swapping out ink cartridge. Even better, you know for sure that you are low on ink. Just take a look at the tank on the side. Try doing that with an ink cartridge.
The ET-2600 is easy to setup, easy to use, reliable, and does a wonderful job of printing and scanning. The printer is quickly recognized by Windows and automatically configured. Same can be said for smartphones. iPhones, iPad, and Androids. Not a lot of software overhead with long installs. The scanner does an excellent job and it is fairly quick on scans. The print quality is excellent. The photo quality is very good.
The printer is also wireless and it's range is fantastic. It can also be setup to printer via the internet. I have many times printed letters, spreadsheets, and pictures 300 miles away using my laptop and smartphone. I am pleased with this printer and it's features. I have found it to be low maintenance. It's size is fairly compact so it does not require much space. I highly recommend this printer to any one that is tired of costly ink cartridges that seem to always run low and normally at the worst possible time. With this printer you always know, without a doubt, how much ink you have left. If you have kids that are students, this printer will get that job done too.

I found this printer to be easy to use, very nicely designed and not complicated to understand the controls. It was amazing how much ink is saved and not used to get the same quality of printed pages and photos.
The EcoTank really makes printing for a small company as mine a whole lot better! The no ink cartridge thing is very cool! I don't have to buy a specific kind to replace the old cartridges, instead just the ink which is a whole lot cheaper.
Also, it doesn't run out so soon. Instead, I get plenty of pages, some days I print over 100 and have no difficulty with each coming out perfectly.
I am so amazed by the speed and the results. Plus with the wireless capability, I don't need to hook anything up. I can print from a distance, one part of my office to the next.
The wireless connection does work with my phone and tablet, but I print mostly from my computer. However, I do love the capability to print from either device, and I should mention that the size of the printer does make it much more portable and doesn't rob me of my desk space!
Finally, I am very happy with this printer, it is a gem to my daily printing and great on scanning too!

Great All In One

Overall this is an excellent printer with quick print speeds, high quality printing, simple all in one features, WiFi and Epson iPrint app support, and the Eco Tank ink containers which will be great to minimize refill needs for years.
Unboxing was straight forward, containing the well packaged printer with basic documentation, driver CD, power cord, and ink bottles for each color (these are full size refills). After running through the setup guide and loading the ink (which does take a bit of care to avoid any spills) the printer primes the ink for about 20 minutes. The printer can then be powered on, software installed, and added to your WiFi network, which does temporarily require a USB connection to your PC, then it is ready to go.
General printing with the ET-2600 is very good, in draft mode the printing speed is quite fast and will extend the ink life even more. On high quality, the print density is very good and B/W and color images look sharp and clear. This is not a photo printer, so while it does print photos and images well, that is not what it is best at.
All in One features include scanning and copying and it does both well. Copies are easy and fast with the buttons on the front of the printer and the unit has a very capable scanner for everyday needs such as photos, receipts, documents, etc.
While this model does not include AirPrint, it does support Epson’s iPrint app which lets you print photos, documents and even webpages from your mobile device and control other features of your printer. It also lets you scan items directly to your mobile device which is very cool. Overall a great app and doesn’t leave me wanting for AirPrint.
Epson states the included ink will print up to 4,000 pages black and 6,500 pages color so I will be very interested to see how long the ink lasts with my typical usage. I think this is an excellent printer option for someone with typical home or small office printing and scanning needs with the added benefit of the EcoTank ink storage to keep ink costs down and ink replacement to a minimum.

Quality Printing

If you are reading this then you are probably wondering if the printer is the right fit for you. The printer setup is quick and easy and each step is outlined in the manual and software setup process. After you unbox the printer, you will need to add all the printer ink into the individual color slots, install the software and configure the wireless while doing a print test. Once you have completed the initial setup, you can configure to your preferred settings. There are many settings that can be adjusted and I provided all the setting menus in the video.
I must warn you that the printer is a little loud while starting up and slower than usual for printing, however, the print quality is excellent. The scanner works great and the quality of the scanned document looks amazing. The color transition is smooth and clean. When printing high quality images the accuracy and quality is extremely noticeable. Adding the printer inks is time consuming and a little messy if you don't take your time. I had no issues during this process, however, I could see how it could be a big mess if rushed. The printer is economical as it prints in a full set of ink; boasting 4000 pages in black and 6,500 pages in color. That should last the average person 1 1/2 to 2 years of printing or longer.
The buttons on the front panel are responsive and press down easily. Setting up the wireless was a little annoying; the printer lacked a cable for the connection, luckily, I had an extra cable from my previous printer. This would not be an issue if your router is visible on the network, which I recommend always to hide your router.
I setup the printer on a PC using the Windows 10 64 bit system and a TP- Link Archer C5400 router. It took around 1 to 1 1/2 hours to fully complete the setup. Keep in mind 20 minutes of that time was dedicated to adding the printer ink, and waiting for the mandatory 20 minute for the software to recognize the ink. The printer also offers mobile and email printing. Overall, this is a high quality printer that performs excellent and has a modern design. I recommend this printer and happy to know that the ink adding process only happens every few years.

This printer has truly been an amazing product.
I've been eyeing them for a while but have not needed a replacement, I was very wrong.
Initial Thoughts:
It comes with enough ink to last two years if you're an infrequent printer. I can only assume that that rating comes based on 5% page coverage.
What I can tell you is that the bottles that come with it hold just as much liquid as the refill bottles for my HP T520.
As usual, it does not come with a USB cable, and you'll need that to do initial setup.
Once you install the software from epson.com you can connect the cable and tell it to connect via WiFi.
The driver doesn't have a lot of frills, but what do you expect from a consumer printer?
The only downside that I found with the driver is that it can't report the ink levels.
This is very unfortunate since you have to keep looking at your printer to make sure you have enough ink for the print job you're about to send it.
Quality:
The build quality is typical for a high end consumer printer, made of plastic, buttons fill solid.
The print quality was what really surprised me. I was able to use the printer for lab quality photos when using a high quality paper.
I had no issues with the color reproduction. I even created a custom ICC profile and found that the default settings really weren't that far off.
Print speed could be a little faster but I didn't expect laser printer speed from an inkjet.
I haven't tried sublimation ink in the printer since I can't easily clean the tank/lines and it would probably void the warranty.
Although, I see no reason that it wouldn't work for this unit since the jets are not heated.
I've been very impressed thus far and look forward to many more prints.

I've had this printer for a week and have used it as my main printer at home. So far its been a champ.
Initial setup takes more time than other printers due to the need to fill the ink tanks and then charge the ink heads. This part takes about 25 minutes. The wireless setup shouldn't take long either but my router doesn't have a WPS button so I needed to find a USB cable to complete the wireless setup. NOTE: No USB cable is included with the printer. All in all, from removing the printer from the box to my first print took me about 35 minutes.
The printer works great for color, black & white, or photo prints. Given the huge capacity ink tank design, I don't need to worry about replacing costly ink cartridges. The printer comes with 2 years of ink which is equivalent to 20 sets of ink cartridges. Plus the replacement ink bottles are very affordable. Why didn't someone think of this earlier!! Now I don't have any worries when I want to print out a bunch of photos.
Wireless printer works great. I was able to add it as a network printer easily. For my iPhone and iPad, I can use the Epson app to print documents and scans. Epson even has a service called Epson Connect where they provide you with an email address that you can use to print photos and documents on the printer from any device that has email.
Overall this printer provides great value for and is a great printer for home or home office use. Print quality is great and it prints and copies fast. The ink tanks are easy to fill and are inexpensive. Great printer!!
