I hate to say this, but I have had trouble with this printer since I bought it. The setup was fine, but the printing has been bad from the beginning. I have had it a year, but I am buying a different printer already.

“This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” This is a very nice trendy overall printer. It was very easy to setup. It only took about 15 minutes total. It is not very heavy and doesn't take up a lot of space. The XP-340 features are that it has the wireless capability, copy, print, scan and photo. I also like the fact that it has a feeder as well so you don't have to copy one by one. It is also capable of printing beautiful photos. I am very excited to have been chosen to test and receive this printer. It has been awesome and very easy to use. I have not pros to report. Overall it is a great printer that I will recommend to my friends and family.

This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. We have several large printers and all-in-one's in the house and this one is a great printer for smaller spaces. The printer was well packaged, easy to unbox and install, and we had it up and running in about 10 minutes. All 4 of our children have Chromebooks and had no trouble getting this printer set up. This printer creates beautiful prints. When we were scanning pictures from our computers we noticed that it would sometimes time out with the max resolution set, but this was quickly resolved. The images from scanning turned out great and without further complaint.

This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The packeging for the XP-340 is pretty standard printer packaging. Like most new printers, this one does not seem to be compatible with USB. This is a wifi only printer. This printer supports wireless direct which allows the printer to make it's own wifi network for devices to connect and print to just in case you don't have Wifi in your home. One of the nice things that I noticed about this printer is it has 4 cartridges (Black, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow. A lot of other printers bundle all color into 1 cartridge which means that if the one color was to go out, you would need an entire new color cartridge. This is not the case with this printer. Setup was simple. When you turn it on, it asks you to install the cartridges then setup wifi. I was a bit confused when entering my wifi password. By default the printer sets your keys to all uppercase. I had to delete my password and start over when I realized this. After the setup, I tested out the printer with my laptop. On Windows 10, all I had to do was click "Add Printer" when trying to print a photo. It quickly found the correct printer and added it to my list of printers. Epson also includes a CD with included printer drivers and Epson copy software. Print Quality: For a low price printer, this thing prints beautiful photos. I was pretty happy with the quality of my photos. Black and white documents are clear and readable. While printing, the printer makes a slight digital noise. This may be annoying if you tend to print a lot. I noticed a quiet mode in the printer setting. I'm not sure if that will fix the noise or not. There is an SD card slot on the front for easy printing without the need for a network Overall: This printer is something I would recommend to someone looking to print occasional photos and documents. It is a solid printer for the price.

    All-in-all, I'd say it's a good purchase.

I've had the Epson XP-340 for a few days over a week now. It does a great job at keeping up with the tasks that a home user would need for a printer/scanner AIO as long as you don't need faxing (who does anymore). The black/grayscale printing is solid and when you need color printing it does pretty good as well. It handles home photos good, but if you're looking for professional prints, you're going to need to invest in a professional photo printer. The scanner picks up great detail in photos if you want to add them to your digital collection. I scanned a GQ cover of Russell Westbrook and the detail in his heather grey suit stood out well. My favorite feature of the XP-340 is the wireless printing and scanning. I know that's becoming standard these days, but it's something that shouldn't be overlooked as Epson has done a great job at making it reliable. Which I can't say for some other wireless printers I've used. This time as well, the wireless setup of the printer worked successfully, which I've had issues with a past Epson AIO. All-in-all, I'd say it's a good purchase. Ink consumption isn't out of the norm and isn't too expensive to replace. This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This came very secure had no parts missing and was well wrapped. It was so secure I had a rough time getting it out of the box by myself and had to have my kid hold the box while I pulled. The printer was all taped up and had no parts that would giggle lose and get scratched. The setting up of the printer was super painless! Just un-tape everything and plug it in. Everything fired right up correctly and was easy to connect to my wireless network. I then did the cd that was included on my computer and it connected to the printer without any issues or errors. Printing on it was a breeze, with no wires I was able to set it across the room from the computer so that while my kids played on the computer (PBS and such) they did not kick or hit the printer like in times before. It is super quiet and pretty fast, not the fastest but still really nice. The scanning was easy and worked just as it should not issues here either. I try and find things a few things I did not like about it so here they are 1- The color screen on the front is way super small, less than 2 inches, but nice to have 2- The paper feeder, I thought we moved past top feeding printers a while back. The paper can flop forward and if it stays like that your print out will be curved. I know it’s slim but I would have preferred another two inches on the printer and have an auto paper feeder like almost all others. Well there you have my review, I think it is great for the price, works wonderfully, and easy enough I was able to set it up with no issues on the first try.

“This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” Now that that is out of the way I have to say I Love this printer even more than any printer I have owned in the past. I have owned wireless and connected printers but none as been as easy to use right out of the box as this one has. Setup was as simple as plugging in the plug and pushing the wifi pairing button and I was on my way to printing. What I love the most is the ability to print from anywhere and from any device. If the device is on the network you can print from it, if you want to print from your phone or tablet you can easily via WiFi direct or via the network. My favorite is the ability to print when I am not home, my router is synced to my phone via an app and I am able to send print ques from my phone when I am out and about and the pages are printed and ready to go when I get home.

This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is a great small form printer for both home and office. Everything you need for installation and printing comes with it, so you only need paper to get started. Installation was simple and easy. It includes all 4 ink cartridges as well as a paper sample. All cables are included. the screen, although small, is easy to read and comprehend the options you have available when printing, copying, or scanning. It quickly connected to my WiFi network with no hassle or manual input of information. I am able to print from my desktop, laptop, tablet, and phone with the push of a button. Driver installation was instant for me, however it also comes with the needed drivers in case you need them. they are also easy and simple to find on the support website as well. As for the print quality, it is absolutely perfect. Both images and text come out crystal clear. Images have a sharpness to them that can rival that of laser and picture printers. The ink settles better into the paper than other printers I have used over time which gives prints and copies that quality. I

“This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” So one if the many important aspects of buying a printer now a days is that it does everything all in one. This printer is maybe the best one I have ever owned. I went into my use with this model thinking all printers were pretty much the same, but I was surprised. The last "all in one" printer I bought was a mess. It worked, but the wireless was not reliable, there were so many parts to the set up I almost gave up (seriously), and it was so much louder than a printer made in 2015 Should have been! I am very happy however with this model. I think the fact that I could easily connect my devices to print was probably the number one thing I liked about it. It says it is wireless and it really is! Also, it prints very crisp, clear pictures and it doesn't take all day (or all my ink). And guess what? If one of my colors of ink runs out, I only have to replace that individual color. I'm loving that. I'm sure the longer I use it the more I will find to like, but I really would recommend this to anyone!!

Like a lot of people I had used HP printers for years. However, i was not happy with the print quality of my photos and I was really unhappy with how loud the printer was. When I saw this Epson on sale I decided it was time for a change. It was a great move on my part as this printer delivers all that it advertises and more. The print quality is superb and for an home inkjet printer it is reasonably quiet. It doesn't really disturb me while i'm in the same room and is barely noticeably from anywhere else (my last HP could be heard from 2 rooms away) The quality of the print is excellent, especially the photos. I don't know how many people still print photos but my wife still loves to have prints to one day eventually put into albums someday in the future and the print quality of the photos from this Epson is superb. I have a hard time distinguishing which ones I printed and which ones were sent out to be printed. All in all I couldn't be happier with this printer. This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I received a sample of this printer to beta test. When first unboxing, I appreciated the simple design and I was able to setup and begin printing with 10 minutes of unboxing. The printer has a simple design, which I appreciate. It folds into a small package on my desk and I was able to set it up to print from Google Cloud Print services, so I can print emails and other content directly from my phone. I also like that each color ink is available individually. I have not yet looked to see if I force it to print in black in only, but will update once I have (since I installed it through the cloud, I didn't have a printer driver to check this one out). Overall, I really like the printer and look forward to using it in the future.

This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Setup - The directions were clearly spelled out in English, very straightforward, and didn't even require me to hook up the printer to the computer via USB. This printer has wireless capability and after installed the drivers with the included CD, I was able to connect wirelessly and print in just a few minutes. First use - Loading paper, loading ink, scanning, and copying is all very intuitive. The small LCD screen on the front gives helpful guidance and feedback if there is an issue (i.e. no paper). Copies and prints came through very fast, especially in B+W mode. Printing photos is almost as easy as printing a document, with the paper loading slider. Photo prints were rich in color, much better than I expected from an all-in-one printer. Overall this printer is an outstanding value and will be my go-to printer for years to come.

“This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” After testing the Epson Expression XP-340, I've found it works fairly well with some great features; it's larger than expected, but has a few issues that were of concern during my tests. # The Good 1. Scanning on desktop generates nice images. 2. Built-in OCR PDF export, the built-in OCR scanning software is amazingly fast and accurate. 3. Printing is fairly fast and has great image quality on printing. 4. SD Card for printing off photos is nice and easy to use. 5. The settings, this scanner has so many settings on a PC it's amazing and they work pretty beautifully. 6. Holds plenty of paper. 7. Low power consumption. 8. Great image quality, it goes up to 1200DPI and looks great. 9. Small files created at higher DPI, even with 600DPI it created small image file sizes and PDFs. 10. Google cloud and Epson connect are great and easy to set up. # The Bad: 1. Wireless setup was kind of difficult with the display and the companion app on PC isn't much better. 2. Using the smartphone app is overly convoluted, gaudy and glitchy. 3. The apps failed numerous times to find the scanner during setup. 4. WiFi scanning from phone has a long delay, but DirectAP was quicker. 5. No USB port, just an SD card. Phone: 1. Missing half the settings that the PC has like OCR. 2. UI has very old look and feel (like it's 5 years behind). 3. Missing print settings that the PC has. 4. Scanning gives weird gray to everything instead of white (PC scanning comes out white). PC: Scan Image quality: 1. Anything under 300DPI looked pretty horrible. Print: 1. heavy color images on occasion had distorted colors or left off color at end of printing.

This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Upon receiving the printer I examined the packaging. There were minor crush areas on the corners of the box. The internal contents were undamaged. Unpacking was easy and without issues. All contents were I the box. Installation to my laptop was very easy. Wifi connection was also just as easy. I even routed everything to my smartphone internet to test its vulnerability and that also worked very well. I went on to print documents and photos that were stunningly crisp. As if I had them printed from a photo shop. Everything was vibrant in color. The main pictures I printed were of my daughter's graduation. If I hadn't printed them myself I would not have know t they were done on a home printer. I highly recommend this printer to everyone...

This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Let me say right out of the box, this little printer is amazing! Easy set up, connected right away to wifi, easy peasy! The sleek black design takes up little space in my home office. This printer does scan well, however a feeder would be optimal for large scanning projects. I love how this printer has yet to jam, smooth printing going on over here!! The best feature is the wireless printing from my phone. Great little workhorse in a small package, totally recommend this product to anyone.

This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-340 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. OK so probably the best thing about this printer in my opinion is the ease of use. Total setup time was about 3 minutes, and once it was set up I just tried plugging in an SD card and I was printing. Connecting it to wi-fi was just as you'd expect. Using it with my laptop was quick and painless. The built in printer finder software on my windows laptop automatically set it up in about a minute, and printing from my laptop went just as you'd expect. So a couple drawbacks in my opinion. First, the tiny screen was kinda hard to use. If you had thousands of pictures on a memory stick it could take quite a while to find the one you want. Second, the picture quality isn't the best. I wouldn't print your family pictures on this, but it'll do for just basic stuff. Documents do just fine though. So overall it really depends on your use case. I'm at university and this works just fine for my needs, but anybody who plans to print lots of pictures might want to find one a little more suited for that.

I upgraded to the Epson Expression Home XP-340, from the Epson Stylus NX230. These printers were both very similar in footprint, and the NX230 has lasted me a long time. Setup out of the box was very easy. It did require that some software be downloaded, and I wished that it would have all been packaged on the CD. From unpacking to able to print I would put the install time at 30 minutes, with the majority of that time spent waiting. The print quality is good for a standard home printer. The ability to change only the color that is low is a very nice feature. It does come with a starter pack of ink. This ink is slightly less ink than your normal purchase. I really liked the feature of printing to an email address. I was able to email this printer from work and when I got home the document I printed was waiting on the printer. The screen is a nice feature also when scrolling through memory cards to print.
