This printer works great and I'm not that computer literate so I was a little worried about the set up. I read previous reviews before getting it because it was rated as an easy quick set up and the reviews were correct. It was very straightforward and easy to set up. The print quality is good. The display screen is on the smaller side still good to see. I also priced the cartridges prior to purchase and they are in a normal range with other cartridges. I would recommend this printer to anyone wanting a lower priced easy set up good quality printer.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Scan documents using potable devices (phones and tablets) instead of a laptop. Scanning and printing can even be done wirelessly without a network connection.

If you are looking for a printer to use at home, this product is the best. If you use Canon for a certain period of time, a warning message saying that the printer head is not original appears and breaks down for no reason. For reference, I have used Canon printers for 20 years, and I thought it was simply a malfunction due to user negligence. However, I found out that almost all Canon printer users' feedback had similar problems.I threw away my Canon printer, which is expensive and does not solve the same problems, and decided on Epson. I am satisfied with the high quality at a low price.

    A Very Nice Compact Printer

I tried using the Epson Installer App with no luck. I was able to install using my PC and downloading the Epson installer that way. Reading info on the front display of the printer was interesting. Tiny print! I’m tall so it wasn’t great crouching down to read the display. I did finally get the printer installed on my 3rd try. It took awhile to recognize my WiFi signal. This is my 3rd Epson. Thus far - I am pleased. It’s compact so it fits nicely on my desk. Convenient! Time will tell. My last Epson lasted 23 years! I would have given 5 stars. Let’s say I give it 4.5 stars! The install for me wasn’t as easy at the previous Epson printer. I went from a USB connection to WiFi. I did call their help line. The CSA was very hard to understand. That was a zero experience. Eventually, my tenacity paid off. I do recommend this printer. In spite of my initial grumbling.

I like that this printer is compact and fits nicely on the end of my desk. The print quality is good. My only problem with it is that the aromatic feeder does not work in scan mode. Nice little printer and price is right.

I bought this lovely little printer the other day after researching for portable printers and scanners for me to be able to carry with me in my car for work reasons. We own our own business and there are times I am out taking care of business and I need to print something and get it notarized and then scan it and email it back immediately. Well I don't always have that ability so I bought this little gem to make it possible for me to do just these things and it worked just like I wanted. I plug it into my 120v invertor into the lighter port in my car and then connect the mobile hot spot from my iPhone to it and bam I am printing and scanning like no ones business. I recommend this little Epson printer as an alternative to those crappy portable printer and scanner that cost an arm and a leg and doesn't look good either way, or even for the person with a small desk/work area without taking up much space at all.

So far, this has been a good option for a home printer. Print quality and color accuracy has been very good. The included demo ink cartridges didn't last long of course. But the replacement pack I got a Best Buy was reasonably priced.

Be aware of bad & missing description!!

Printer is good, works fine but, be aware of features offered in printer as part of functionally is not available.I found that Best Buy doesn't review the features of equipment that makes customers decide to pick before purchase it. Example; This Printer Epson XP4200 says in Best Buy Website that it isn't Mobile Device Compatible but ironically it does it, it's even described on the box as compatible with Android devices and Iphones. Another faulty description on the website describes it's Fax integrate and it's not Fax functionally at all. I have to shown to the cashier about this details or missing information on their products to review all features before informing customers on their website.

Awesome little printer! So simple to set up and for the price, it is beyond excellent! The regular size cartridges are decent, but will not last long if you are printing tons of pictures. I recommend the picking up the 232XL cartridges once the original cartridges run out. All in all, it scans, it copies and it even remote prints! Excellent bargain: better quality prints and less expensive than an HP printer that will stop working after a month.

Good printer for basic usage. Connecting it was kind of a pain, not going to lie. Haven’t had any issues with it disconnecting since then, so I’d say that’s a win. If you just need a home printer, it’s a good one! Epson is pretty reliable, so no complaints!

I bought this model for the WiFi hookup ability. It was very easy to get up and running. I have used it off and on for 3 months now with no problems as of yet. For the price it seems to be a good deal.

I haven't had any issues with this printer/scanner combo when it comes to printing and scanning, but I've been trying to install a firmware update since day one and it's failed every time due to a Wi-Fi error. The thing is, I use the device over Wi-Fi to print and scan, and it's just fine. Strange, but at least it's not trying to sell me an ink subscription service like certain other printer brands, so it's still good in my book.
