We like the printer and its small size. So far, it works as expected and prints well. Photos have come out well and documents with color are fine. Took off a half star since it was not able to sync with the computer. Had to do a lot of input into the home phone type window (d is one tap, e is two, etc). Finding out how to go to numbers, small letters, symbols for setting up WI FI connection was tricky. However, once you figure it out, the machine is great.

Would have given this printer 5 stars but it is slow warming up to get that first print out. Very good at subsequent prints. Could even be more of a Windows 10 issue. Not sure. There is a learning curve, relative to the auto output tray position & auto control panel position. They both move on their own when the printer wakes up. So, be patient & careful not to force any of them. Also, where & how to place the DVD/CD printing tray (which is the feature I bought this printer for)... and loading & adjusting the paper size tray. You remove the bottom paper tray cartridge to load paper(well at least that is the easy way to do it). I have not had another desktop printer where I needed to load paper that way. Print quality is excellent. Would not pay full price for this printer ~$200... but well worth it if you can get it for half price, or less, as I did, during a BB sale. And... the only way to get any kind of a sale or discount on Epson ink is to look for general office supply store coupons or rewards point redemption. Epson is the only printer company that I know of that never allows their ink to be put on sale or used with coupons! One thing that has always kept me from buying this printer much sooner! Some wholesale clubs have Epson ink for much less also.

Love this printer/fax combo. It is smaller and more compact than my previous one and the pictures come out beautiful. It also has the option of being able to print on both regular size paper and also the longer paper which my other one could not do. I found it somewhat confusing when I wanted to copy something with all the different options and settings it offered as my last printer did not have all those options, but I'm sure that the more I use that option it will become more familiar to me.

I haven't had a chance to use it much, but what little I have used, I love it! It prints two sided-which saves paper and space in a binder. It can write on a CD, and it can copy. It's not too hard to set up, though it does take some time. It seems fairly easy to use. I cannot wait to find excuses to use it more!

I'm very happy with my purchase. The printer is all in one. It prints on both sides of the paper and it is wireless. Setup was fast and easy. You can also set a password so no one else can print without that password. The printer also updates itself with new software. You can preview an image or text before you make a copy so you don't waste paper. Great product!

Ink cartridges are small, & ink seems to drain quickly. Fax works fine. Scan works but may not do well on very fine print like that found on some areas of driver's licenses. Nice low profile. Prints a variety of fonts and letter sizes ok. Print speed is nothing to rave about.

Second Epson printer and couldn't be happier. Needed to upgrade to allow the kids access printing from IPads and Chrome Books. Easy to setup and get up and running. One word of advice, decide up front on the automatic ink renewal. I tried to activate it after the initial set up and made calls to both Epson and Best Buy with no luck.

My HP died after about 6 years of initial heavy use then minimal use. I wanted to replace it with something similar-duplex print and scan that also gave good to better photo prints. I looked and investigated for about 2 weeks and settled on this Epson XP-830. It is very quiet and has a much smaller footprint. Considering my requirements have diminished this will work fine. It has achieved my expectation.

Easy to set up, small, quiet, fast and great for photos; however, a little complicated to load assorted papers and set up to print in different formats. Ink a little expensive. Overall, a nice printer.

Printing of documents via wifi from iMac functions very well. Have yet to try printing photos or establishing fax connection. Overall, seems like a very good multifunctional home/light business printer. I have been quite satisfied with other Epson printers I have had and expect the experience of this one to be similar.

I have been using this printer for about a month, and have printed several black and white letters, which come out great. The color is surely not as good as a laser printer's quality to me, but it still looks just fine. The ink does not seem to be used up as quick as some other models, which is nice. Scans look great. Copy function works fine. The auto-feeder has worked flawlessly for me. For what I paid for this machine, it is definitely worth it in my opinion.

First off I am a loyal customer when it comes to the Epson brand. Out of the four I have owned only one actually broke down the others I had to get rid of because they were not compatible anymore with my computers. I bought this one because I like that it is small and the price was really nice. I also love the touchscreen window and that you can preview what you scan right on that window instead of looking it up on the computer. Pictures print out very nice also. The only thing that some may find trouble with is the noise. It's not the quietest thing but it doesn't bother me. Easy set up. All around a really good printer for a home or even small office.

The sales person that helped me asked me what exactly I was going to use the printer for. I explained I needed an updated wireless printer for printing from the iPads in the house. I have another bigger printer that I will use, untill it dies, in my office. He suggested one of the smaller printers and it works just great and I got it for a very reasonable price.

I've only had it a little over a month, but have had to use it many times. Main use is for printing documents but have also had to scan. So far so good. Quality of the print is good and it is easy to use. Had no problems with the initial setup either. Good quality for the price.
