I absolutely love this printer. I bough it to go with my IPad Photo Booth. The pictures are perfect and it prints fast. So much better than my previous printer.
The ink usage is phenomenal and I run out of paper before I run out of ink.
It has exceeded my expectations.

I really like this photo printer. It prints 2 sizes, the 4x6 and the 5x7. I have downloaded the application on my phone and this does make it real easy to print from after cropping the actual photo. I absolutely love the technology from Epson. I have never been disappointed.
If you want photos to be printed quickly for a photo book or scrapbooking this is the printer for you. I love the fact that you can travel with it too, so when you are with friends and family you can just whip out this little printer and print however many you want. I bought a little travel case( sold separately) so it is easy to just pick up and go. Epson is quality in my opinion.

An amazing, powerful, high-quality photo printer. I'm thinking, "Where have you been all my life?!" I bought this to take to scrapbooking retreats. It's so annoying to print all of my photos from trips, then toss half of them. Such a waste! Now I can go to the retreats, print only the photos I want, and SAVE MONEY! Now not a problem that CostCo has discontinued their photo service!
Four of my friends have this same printer. It's easy to discern which printer is whose when all are connected on the same WiFi, using Bluetooth.
The interface is simple to use. A Wizard helps you through an easy step-by-step process to connect to the WiFi.
One annoying feature is that with every push of the button, there is a beep. Discovered, it is easy to turn that off under the Settings. You can quickly change which size paper you are printing to, and the cartridge lasts forever (or so it seems)! I printed a couple hundred photos at least on the FREE CARTRIDGE that you get with the printer. The quality was consistent.
Beware: do not use photo quality paper that is for laser printers. I had a ream that I was going to cut to size and use, but the paper did not accept the ink and the colors/ink smeared. Live and learn.
Lastly, I discovered you can use the Epson App to bundle multiple photos for printing on same size OR you can just open a photo (JPG) and use your normal FILE/PRINT option. I printed with both my iPhone and my Surface laptop. Both were equally efficient and simple.
I also inserted regular cardstock to print a quick sentiment that worked on one of my scrapbook pages! So it's not dependent only on photo paper.

Great overall picture printer; limited to 4x6 or 3x5 but quality is excellent. Set up simple easy and took less than 5 minutes. Sync’d quickly with wifi. Prints the pictures fairly quickly and quietly. Very happy with the purchase. Very small compact foot print; if needed, it’s easily transportable.

The Epson - PictureMate PM-400 - C11CE84201 Wireless Photo Printer - White is a great photo printer, producing photo lab quality prints up to 5x7 in size. Currently the media for the printer are a bit on the pricier side and unlike previous generations, the new PictureMate PM-400 doesn't offer the ability to work on battery power, which is a common feature of many small printers in its class, but lacking on this model. Overall a great printer though.

The size of the printer makes it easy to take to scrapbooking events where I need to print photos I didn't have with me, and the ability to connect wirelessly and print multiple sizes gives me great flexibility! The downsides are high cost per print - and the lack of individual ink cartridges which leads to wasted ink and contributes to that.

Recently switched to the Epson Picturemate 400 after having two Canon SELPHY printers jam on me. I am really happy with the picture quality so far on the Epson. Colors are bright and crisp. My only complaint would be that the size of this printer is noticeably bigger than the Canon.

I am a photographer and was looking for a printer to do around 50+ photos at an event. I wanted something portable and something that produces a nice photo in a short time. This is perfect! It is SO small! I have an Epson 3 in 1 printer and it is huge. This one is small and easy to carry around! The picture quality is amazing! It puts any store photo prints to shame! I couldn't be happier with my purchase

Quite compact. Can be stashed anywhere. Setup was simple. Pictures are absolutely gorgeous...beyond what I thought was possible for this printer.
It only does smaller size photos (4x6/5x7) and completes them rather quickly.

My wife is very active scrapbooking our families activities! She really loves the wireless feature of this printer, and it's ability to print from iPad, phone, etc. The picture quality has been even better than the local drug store prints. The only thing she would change is the ability to print different sizes without having to go to the computer. But, otherwise, loves it!

This small, quiet, portable printer allows me to print both 4 x 6 and 5 x 8.5 photos! I own an HP, a Canon, and another large Epson. The Epson PictureMate 400 is my favorite for albums, scrapbooks, and gifts.

I really like this photo printer. Photos turn out nicely, even better than going to Walgreens. I bought Epson ultra premium, premium, semi gloss and high glossy photo paper to print out photos. U can also Print from ur iPhone and if u use a digital camera u can wifi photo to Scan disk and print from Scan disk . 2 reasons I didn't give it 4 stars is that sometimes top of head of people gets chopped off even though it's not in original photo and also sometimes wifi doesn't work and u have to reconfigure for wifi. Tip : when u take photo make sure u have enough space above object or person. If ur a patient person and don't mind some of its issues this printer is good otherwise another one might be better for u since it runs around 200$ on sale. Would like to see Epson improve it. Photo paper and ink r resonably priced also.

A very fast and affordable printer capable of printing sizes up to 5x7. Quality and detail of the prints is very good, although 5x7 Epson paper is a little hard to get. Overall, a very good small compact printer.

I don't know what I waited so long to purchase the PictureMate 400. I was sold from the very first picture I printed. The color was fantastic and it looks better than pictures printed by big stores. I'm a fan!

This printer is a workhorse. The quality is great and it prints fast. Have printed more than 1,000 photos in the first month. Have owned two previous models and worn them out after printing 1,000s of photos. The advantage of this printer is that while the previous models would only load 999 photos at a time, this model will divide it into folders so that you don't have to limit the number of photos you can preview at a time.
