I did my homework before buying and this printer seemed like the best choice for me with the current needs that I have in my home office. It was a bit more difficult to initially set up that I like, but not impossible. Occasionally, it doesn't communicate properly to our wireless devices (requiring a printer restart before we can print successfully). The ink use seems better than previous models and the look of the printed pages is excellent. It also prints quickly. The paper trays are a bit tricky to load and sometimes jam without an obvious reason. But, not too annoying. Overall, very good so far.

Great multifunction printer, fax, scanner, copier. Great ink output! Scanner is nice and big but not as high quality for pictures as my other one, but still does the job for my large projects, up to 11x17. Pretty quiet. Great Bluetooth and wireless capabilities. Print from phone and laptops.

I recently printed a color photo taken with available lighting. Great pic captures everything including the grass and highlighting from lights in the city park I was in. Figured it would challenge the printer. The printout on bond paper was flawless. Very impressive. Worked beautifully right out of the box. This multifunction printer is a thing of Quality. Must be the reason my first choice is Epson!

As a Photographer, I am most pleased with the 7720, because of the great color photos and B&W as well, that it prints. I needed to contact tech support on the phone, which was easily done. I contacted them about 3 times. Each time they were very professioninal, friendly, informative and helped me to set up the printer, which is functioning well, The persons at the Best Buy store in Tuckwilla WA, were understanding and helpful, especially Czes? sp.

I know that this printer is “technically” not for sublimation, but let’s be real. Most beginners use this printer specifically for sublimation. It’s a great and inexpensive way to get started and decide if it’s something you really want to do. I was able to convert it easily, and it’s working exactly as i hoped it would so far.

Had a Epson Work Pro printer previously which I really liked except I wanted to be able to use bigger reg and photo paper. Although many said it used too much ink, mine has been super lean on ink usage. I do like the very responsive large touch screen on this printer and that the front lcd color screen and be brought up and out or push down almost flat against the printer. So far, the only drawback I see is how the rear paper feed works, as I can only use one sheet of paper, an envelope, photo paper, etc at a time. If I don't print what's in the rear feed within a set amount of time 5 mins (?), it will reject out whatever is in the rear feed. I hate having to feed the rear feed one item at a time.

Coming from a Laser printer with a large power draw, I couldn't be happier with the Epson 7720. Fast, reliable, easy to use, great software setup. The image quality and speed is excellent and better than my laser. Footprint is a little big but in a home office, is not an issue. Great home, family multi user all in one.

    Excellent All-in-One Inkjet Printer

I have been using the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 for a few weeks now and I have had no problems with it and it has met and exceeded any of my expectations since it has arrived. When I first got the printer I was impressed with the size of the All-in-One Printer. I knew it was going to be able the handle the jobs of printing, copying, scanning and sending a fax. It is quick and easy to set up to get ready to use for the first time. It has step-by-step instructions and a CD to install your software on your computer. The big LED screen helps you walk through the process too, so there is no confusion. The control panel is easy to use and walks you through what operation you are choosing to do at that time. After setting up the time and language you then insert the ink cartridges to charge a few minutes and you are ready to print. The whole process takes 10-15 minutes. I like the fact that this particular printer has dual front loading paper trays that you can use standard and legal size paper, labels and envelopes. The trays have adjustable sliders to fit most any size paper you will need to use. It has a back loader feeder tray that is a great option to have too. The qualities of the copies are bright, crisp and professional looking. The colors are amazing and there are no lines or smudging when printing in color. The printer can be hard-wired or used with Wi-Fi. We set our printer up using Wi-Fi and are able to use the printer from our laptops, tablets and phones. There is a port for your phone line for the fax line to be added. Over-all I am impressed with what the WorkForce WF-7220 has done for me and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an All-In-One printer. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

I've only had this printer a little over a week but so far it's handled everything I've thrown at it with ease. The menu system is sophisticated and allows you to touch the screen to configure everything - it was very easy to setup the printer, I was up and printing in a matter of minutes. It is extremely user-friendly and I've been able to print wirelessly from all my devices, even supports printing via NFC. This thing is a beast, it's big and powerful and feature packed. The 500-sheet capacity via two 250-sheet trays is convenient. Has a much larger footprint than my previous Workforce, however those of us who utilize multiple paper sizes will find it a blessing. Great print quality, my only concern is the cost of replacement ink cartridges, I have not researched this at this point and hopefully they are reasonable. Overall, this is a beautiful piece of equipment. Among the best printers I've had the opportunity to use, Epson has really outdone themselves here. Great addition to my home office, totally exceeded my expectations. Fantastic all in one printer

This printer is an all in one printer (eg: Scan, Copy, and Print) During my testing, I have done several things: 1. Basic unboxing. 2. Basic configuration. 3. Advanced configuration. 4. Tests. 5. Pro's and Con's. 1. Unboxing: The printer arrived extremely well secured in its own vary vivid box, the box is rather big since the printer by itself is massive. The box is very colorful and have a visual representation of most of the printer settings, Such as Wi-Fi-Direct, Apps, Print specs etc. This is a good indication for all the options available for the user, and visually appealing. The printer was very secure within the main box and should "survive" common shipping providers driving conditions. In addition, Epson secured the printer itself by using easily removable tapes on almost every corner and attachment. The ink cartridges were also airtight sealed, which was great so there was no chance of leakage. From "boxing" perspective, this was great outcome. 2. Basic configuration: There were a few options for this specific model WF-7720: 1. Go to the website and download the utilities. 2. Plug via USB and let your computer recognize. (I used windows 10, which automatically grabbed appropriate drivers [not utilities]) Luckily, this printer support either Wi-Fi or Ethernet. I personally Prefer Ethernet, Ethernet will always be more reliable, less interferences and more secure. Important to mention, that there are no added cables in the box other then the power cable, so no USB cable. That to me was a negative star; Also there was no installation Disk. Once you install the basic drivers and utilities, the printer can now print with no issues. Basic configuration was extremely user friendly and takes about 6 minutes after you install the cartridges. With the software you can set it up either via the computer screen or even directly via the very nice built in large capacitive touch screen. The basics are: Network configuration, Printer configuration and account configuration. Installing the ink was a breeze, i just wished the ink cartridges were bigger. 3. Advanced configuration: This section I can write about for hours, so I will do my best to condense the information in laymen terms. This printer, being a network printer have also its own configuration web-page. Once you set the printer onto your network go to its IP (internal IP) on your browser and immediately you will get into the configuration page. Now, on the top you will see a drop down menu where you can then select from "Basic Settings" to "Advanced Settings". I HIGHLY recommend doing so, and the FIRST thing I recommend is to go to Administrator Login and change the password. Epson ship out the printer with no password (blank). As mentioned, now that you are an administrator you can change every aspect of the printer, any config and every setting which is fantastic. I will not go over every single option, since you can check it out for yourself. In order to fully utilize the printer you will want to utilize the advances config for "Google Cloud Print/Drobox scan integration" etc. You can by simply creating an account with EpsonConnect and follow all the instructions. It will make it much easier if you do so via the printer webpage as i described above. 4. Tests: I have done multiple test with this printer, one cool thing about this printer that it has a gorgeous big touch screen and dedicated buttons for multiple functions, very impressive. Ink tanks look good and Print quality was fantastic. I tested scanning, no issues. Tested A3 size print, the printer does not fail. it has 2 paper trays that you can specifically configure each tray to specific paper size. It truly give you an office quality style printer feeling. 5. Pro's and Con's. Pros: *. Multiple features: Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Card Reader, Cloud Support, big pages print, laser like quality, Scan, Copy, Print, Fax, NFC, etc. *. Well-built and sturdy, really good build quality. *. Great Packaging. *. Good software utilities. *. Epson fantastic 2 year’s warranty. *. Outstanding "Cloud" Support and feature. (Remote print, remote scan, email to print etc). *. Massive paper size and no borders. Cons: *. No USB cable. *. Not EcoTank "This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review."
