Detects motion really well and easy to install and sync to our existing home base

Along with my Eufy 2K wireless video doorbell and 2K cameras, I'm very pleased with the motion sensors also. I placed one by all the exterior entrances and they work great. I get notified of any movement, and I can easily turn the notifications on and off using the Home and Away modes.

It was quite easy to set up. I like how compact it is. Sensor works well with my HomeBase 2 and 2k pro outdoor cameras. I ended up purchasing the Keypad and sensors as well since they were on sale. Definitely a must get if you don’t want to pay a monthly subscription however, it does not notify authorities if the sensor goes off. This is part of a self monitor security system.

Battery door is broken and won't stay shut. Aside from that, great sensor and works seamlessly with our Eufy system.

I usually sleep in the room adjacent to the mini kitchen area where my cats sleep. There is a 40 inch fence separating the areas, but my more athletic cat decided to become the Michael Jordan of cats and is capable of jumping the fence when he is in an especially bad mood. This sensor can be set to ring out a noise if it detects motion, usually scaring the cat while waking me up in time to stop him from running under the bed and hiding from me like the menace that he is.

Easy to set up and configure. Love the app and had have no issues with it so far.

I put this in the garage and it catches any movement that occurs in there.

I use it as an extender, to detect motion and trigger a camera, which otherwise might not trigger on its own, because of distance. i find that i need more than one brand of camera covering the same locations in spite of the extra sensor

I have a home base with 6 wireless cameras that I have been very happy with. We’ve recently had a string of break ins in our neighborhood and wanted to add motion detection to my basement. Installation was very easy and these paired to my homebase with ease. I am very satisfied with this and would recommend it to anyone who has an existing Eufy camera system.

I am a tech guy through and through and I'm always looking to find new ways to automate, innovate, and be creative around the house. I had an extra eufy smart motion sensor laying around and found that it might be cool to put it in the back of my mailbox to notify me when my mail is received everyday (or at least if mailbox has been opened). I know this use may not appeal to everyone but was a little cool thing for me to do!

In the ultimate in laziness, I purchased this to notify me of mail delivery. We don't have a freestanding mailbox at the street. There's a cutout in our garage wall and a mail slot which drops mail into a basket in our garage. We don't get all that much mail anymore, but the way the mail slot is situated in a little alcove, you have to walk all the way into the garage to see if there's any mail in the basket. The slot and basket is in a little niche/alcove in the garage, so this motion sensor doesn't pick up any other activity in the garage except for the mail slot being opened and mail being dropped in. I have several Eufy cameras, but do not have notification sounds set for those. I did set an audible notification for this motion sensor though, so I know when I hear an Eufy notification, it's the mail and not any of the cameras. Since this is in our garage, wifi strength is not an issue at all. Not quite sure if it would work just as easily if used in a freestanding sidewalk type of mailbox. I guess that would just depend on how strong your wifi is and where your homebase is located in relation. Can't be more pleased.

Works great and can sense motion from very far. Very small design and can be put on a shelf without any external support or adhesive tape.

Great system. Motion sensor works great. Can set sensitivity in app, which is a bonus if you have pets. Best part is this system does not require a subscription to work.

Very well designed, super easy installation, works really good with Eufy system, and very sensitive as it should be.

I made the switch from Xfinity home security because I didn’t want to be paying a monthly subscription plus I like the idea of owning as much as possible the security hardware itself. There’s motion detector has worked ever since we got it and there isn’t much to say other than it just works and I don’t have to pay monthly for it.
