At first it was good, would vacuum decently and mop decent. After 2-3 months i noticed it leaving stuff all over the house. I would clean the filters and vacuum the sensors everything as reccomended even bought new filters mop pad, brush on amazon and still wasnt good. The mopping after every wash it would say theres a leak somewere to contact customer support and the tray would be full with water. I knew it wasnt cleaning good as well because i have a dyson v15 extra and the green light when i followed the trail there was stuff everywere. I really thought this was a good go to vacuum as i did my research, used for about 5 months in total and just returned today in bestbuy for a store credit thankfully had the proctection on it. Eufy needs to do better, id say spend the extra money and look at something better. Also super slow live in 850 square ft apt would take an hour to vacuum entire appt .

I've got the opportunity to test this small powerhouse for a considerable amount of time, and I'm eager to offer my opinion. The Eufy Clean - X10 Pro Omni It looks premium and sophisticated because to the all-black finish, which complements any type of interior design. It's also very lightweight, which is very advantageous for storage and mobility. With strong materials that give off a sense of longevity, the build quality feels excellent. This feels like a well-made item. To put it succinctly, the eufy Clean - X10 Pro delivers exceptional performance. This bad guy has really amazing suction power. It easily removes pet hair in addition as crumbs, dust, and filth. In addition to being a vacuum, the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni is a mop. This can handle hard surfaces like an expert thanks to the built-in mop attachment. Its uniform water dispense leaves floors spotless and gleaming. Bid farewell to those antiquated buckets and mops—this robot does it all. It was really easy to set up the eufy Clean - X10 Pro Omni. The Eufy Clean app has several features that make it easy to use and intuitive. You can plan cleaning sessions, change the cleaning modes, control the water and suction power, and even track the cleaning process in real time. I especially adore the mapping tool, which allows you to create no-go zones or identify particular places that need to be cleaned. It resembles having a knowledgeable, miniature assistant who is well-versed in your house. Edge Hugging Mopping, which neatly cleans corners without leaving anything behind, and Smart Track Cleaning, which allows you to touch the robot with your leg to direct it along your walking path and clean that area before tapping it again to dock it back to the base station, are two of the best features that I really enjoyed. It continuously updates you on its activities via voice prompts, asks for your assistance when it needs your manual assistance to fix any problems, and displays all of the vacuum and Mop related activity within the app. Another thing that the Eufy X10 Pro excels at is battery life. Long cleaning sessions are possible with just one charge, and the device knows when to recharge itself by returning to the dock on its own. I can leave it to work its magic while I'm away, coming home to a tidy house. The X10 Pro Omni has really pleased me. My life has been greatly simplified by this little robot vacuum/mop combo, which is incredibly adaptable, effective, and ingenious. This machine will take care of your cleaning needs whether you have kids or pets or just want to keep your house tidy without all the work. When mopping is complete, it automatically dries the mop pads without your help. All you have to do is empty the dirty water tank and refill the clean water tank as needed. It also does all of the other chores for you, such as automatically emptying the dust and washing the mop pads. I highly recommend the Eufy X10 Pro Omni if you're looking for a new cleaning partner. I promise you won't be let down!

This is our first eufy vacuum and we have come away impressed. The setup is a breeze. It was easy to connect with the app and it immediately found updates that it took care of with little intervention. Once the updates were complete it was on its way to mapping out the rooms. From mapping the rooms and running its jobs, I have to say the AI is very impressive. The map it has created is spot on, it knows exactly when to mop and when to only vacuum when it goes from our tile to our carpet, and it has yet to get stuck in furniture or on a rug. Once it is complete with a job, it shows the exact path it took and even shows when it cut across the landscape to get to another part of the room. Besides the app showing the exact path, it's also very customizable for the jobs. For cleaning intensity, you have Fast, Standard or Deep. You can then tell it to Vacuum and Mop, Vacuum Only or Mop Only. Cleaning can be set to x1 or x2. Suction has Quiet, Standard, Turbo, and Max settings and then for water you can choose Low, Medium or High. For the suction, it's very quiet and even on Max, it's quiet enough for us to run when the kids are sleeping. That part is important for the next part of the review because the only thing it could improve is battery life. When we have it on Max, it's not able to complete the whole job on one charge. However, with how smart it is, it heads back to its base, gets the charge and then picks up where it left off on the job. This is where the quietness comes in to play because it's fine for it to continue whenever it's ready as it's so quiet and it doesn't interrupt our kids sleeping. The last and most important part of the vacuum is how it cleans. We are very happy with the results of its mopping and vacuuming and that is why with how intelligent it is, it's easy for us to recommend for anyone looking for an affordable robot that can vacuum and mop.

All the features of the more expensive well-known brands, but at a fraction of the price. Great suction, great mopping performance, mostly easy to use app. It does everything you need it to, to keep your floors clean on the regular without having to fuss. Just beware that it really likes to work on a single floor (map) even though the app claims it can have multiple floors (maps). Highlights: * Good vacuum suction. * Good navigation. * Excellent mopping with auto-rising rotating pads. * Relatively quiet for suction level. * Large fresh and waste water containers. Room for Improvement: * Small dustbin means more frequent mid-job return trips to the base to empty. * Design of water container lids doesn’t inspire confidence. * App is good but the more expensive brands are better. * Robot gets really confused with multi-floor maps. Setup: The box was exceedingly easy to open and unpack. It all started with an outer shipping box that had pull tape to separate it into an upper and lower half which really made it easy to remove the main box. If you buy it in a store, it probably won’t have that outer shipping box, but the main box was also easy to unpack everything. The robot was stored vertically in a carton with a handle and the base was fully assembled aside from the mop-cleaning ramp which easily snapped in place. As with most robot cleaners that include a base station, you find a good spot for the base and plug it in. This one has separate tanks for both dirty and clean mop water as well as a spot for the self-emptying dustbin bag. Your first bag is pre-installed so all you need to do is lift off the clean water tank, fill it up and then put it back. That’s it for the base. Next is the robot - remove all packing and protective tape and slide it back-end-first into the base. It powers on and starts providing voice guidance. Install the free eufy Clean app, sign up/in, and then choose to add a product. The app walks you through adding the robot, getting it on your home’s wifi, and setting up the basics. The last step is having the robot create the first map of your home. Just tap the button in the app to create the first map and watch the robot quietly explore your home. It took about 20 minutes to automatically create the map and it did a surprisingly good job. I then went back in the app to refine the map and give each room a name. Joining “rooms” together was easy, but separating them was a bit more of a chore and zooming in on the map isn’t as straightforward as doing the pinch zoom gesture as you have to start pinching on just the right spot or it won’t do anything. Since the maps are created by the robot’s lidar vision, sometimes it creates phantom rooms like at a staircase or a sunken room. It is impossible to remove those rooms so the best you can do is separate them out and name them something that you’ll remember is not a real room. This also makes it impossible to use the “Clean Everywhere” command as that would cause the robot to try to clean these phantom rooms. My home has two “levels” that are separated by a single step-down of about 6”. The barrier between these two levels is enough to keep the robot from jumping off the cliff but it still added parts of each level to the other level’s map. This may seem like a small issue, but it creates a massive problem later on. Anyway, setup went as expected and aside from the above issues with multi-level maps, everything went smoothly. Maintenance of the robot is well thought-out and easy. On the robot itself, the roller bar is easy to remove to clean or untangle debris. There is a novel comb in there to cut any wound up hair, too. The dustbin is easy to remove from the top so you can clean or replace the filter. The base cleans and dries the mopping pads so regular maintenance is automatic, but the pads are easy to remove if you have to swap them out. In the base is a removable tray where the mopping pads are cleaned. Periodically remove that tray, give it a good wipe and rinse and slide it back in. That’s about it for periodic maintenance. Usage: With the fresh water tank full, the dirty water tank empty and a fresh bag pre-installed in the base, I sent my new robot helper out on its first job. I told him to clean two specific rooms and he performed well and then returned home to clean the mopping pads and empty the bin. The next time I sent him out to a different room and he again did an admirable job. So far, so good! Now here’s where the problems started…. the cleaning base is on the “main” level, but I wanted him to vacuum and mop all rooms in the “lower” level. Apparently, he doesn’t like it when his base isn’t on the same map that he’s cleaning. The “main” map clearly shows the base and the “lower” map does not. I told him to switch to the “lower” map and clean there. First I tried to just pick him up from the base and plop him on the “lower” floor, then start the job. He wanted to first wash his mop and refill his tank, but he couldn’t do that since the base was on the other map. Fail. I manually put him back on the base on the “main” map and tried again. This time I told him to clean on the “lower” map but before moving him there. I let him clean the mop and refill the tank and when he started making his way to the other map (which is impossible for him to reach on his own), I paused him, picked him up and put him on the lower floor. He “positioned” himself correctly and started cleaning. Woohoo! However, part-way through cleaning, he wanted to return to the base to wash the mop, but since the base was elsewhere, he just stopped and issued an error. As much as I tried, I could not get him to clean and mop the rooms of the second map. Given that he is aware that there are two maps and exactly where the base is on one of them, I’d expect a bit more “smarts.” I would expect him to recognize that the job is on a different map, and to ask to be put on that map after mop preparation. I would also expect him to to pause during the job on the map that doesn’t have the base, ask to brought to the dock for mid-job mop cleaning, and then ask to be put back on the other map. Fail. It’s neither convenient nor advisable to move the base once the maps are created, so if your home has two distinct floors (upper and lower, for example), until his smarts get improved, you should expect him to stick with only cleaning the floor his base is on. Another feature that other robots do better is zone cleaning and the ability to name a zone. I figured out how to do this, but it was not obvious. He can schedule cleaning and like the apps of other brands, the app shows where the robot is “live” during cleaning which is really nice. The on-board dust bin is smaller than other models. Given that there is an auto-empty feature in the base, the robot will just return to the base when it’s full, but a small bin means more frequent pauses and returns to the base mid-job. The same applies to the mops and going back mid-job to clean the pads. The mop does work really well, though. It rises up about 12mm to keep the moist pads off your carpets, unless you want to clean the carpets, too. The roller bar works well but is a bit narrow meaning that the robot has to overlap vacuuming passes to ensure coverage. Other brands and models have wider bars/openings, larger bins, etc… Overall navigation was rather good. He rarely bumped into walls or furniture and the AI vision system did a good job of recognizing obstacles and avoiding them. My dog didn’t seem to mind the robot and the robot didn’t seem to be bothered by the dog, so both peacefully coexisted. Overall: For single-level homes which any combination of carpet and hard flooring, this robot vacuum does a great job navigating and cleaning. It is easy to set up and maintain, and has most of the features of the more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost. For homes with multiple floors (multiple maps), beware that without a software update, this robot gets really confused and probably won’t get the job done without significant frustration on your part and confusion on its part.

The eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni robot vacuum is a phenomenal all is one solution for keeping your house in peak clean condition. The initial setup is very simple via the eufy Clean (EufyHome) app. Once you get the X10 registered in the app it will run a quick learning cycle of the space it's intended to clean. Once finished, you're ready to go. I have mine setup in my basement. I have roughly 500 sq ft of vinyl laminate plank flooring that I have the X10 clean and mop, and a 5'x7' area rug that has a very deep nap, which the X10 has absolutely no problem going over. We have two cats and two dogs, so we are constantly cleaning up hair after them. The eufy Clean X10 takes practically all of the work out of it. The only thing I have had to do so far is fill the clean water and empty the dirty water. With the app, you can schedule your cleaning preferences. I have my X10 vacuum daily, and mop twice a week. The X10 also keeps track of water levels, and your accessory services, like side brush, rolling brush, filter, etc. You are also able to easily order replacement accessories directly from the app, which makes it super convenient to maintain. You can also specify no go, and no mop zones. The only real issue I have is the dust bag. I feel that there should be a bagless option for this, but that's just me. So far the dust bag is barely full. Another minor issue is how big this unit is. I knew this prior to getting the X10, but just makes sure you have the space for it. You'll love it. Likes: 1.) Cleans everything floor related. Vacuuming and mopping 2.) Easy to setup and maintain 3.) App is easy to use Dislikes: 1.) Having to replace dust bags 2.) Large footprint

The Eufy X10 is the fifth robot vacuum that I’ve had over the last several years and the third with a mop function. In my opinion, it comes very close to the performance of my most expensive robot vacuum, which a couple of years ago cost 1200 dollars. That is pretty impressive for a unit that cost roughly half of that! The X10 is the first robot vacuum mop I’ve had that uses a spinning motion to mop floors, versus a reciprocating motion. I was excited to see how well it did on some tile floors I have that are constantly getting dirty from kids, food, and spills. My downstairs is a bit of an obstacle course. Couches, tables, bookshelves, entertainment centers, and rugs, lots of stuff to make robot vacuums really work for their money. From unboxing to actually running the X10 took maybe 20 minutes. There was already a 70% charge on the unit when I got it set into place, so without further ado I connected it to my WiFi through the Android app. It mapped out my 1800 square foot downstairs in about 10 minutes. Through the app I was able to merge, divide, and rename the rooms it mapped out. Through the options, you can customize how the X10 will clean, i.e., cleaning intensity, vacuum only/mop only, etc. Or you can do what I did, and check the Smart Mode box and just let the X10 decide the best way to clean based on AI. An hour later the X10 finished. The results were pretty dang good. The X10 is quick, gets into places my larger, much more expensive vacuum cannot, and does a good job of picking up junk on the floor. The X10 returns to the base station often to empty the waste bin and wash the mop heads. After each use, I empty out the dirty water bin and refill the clean water bin. Super simple and easy to use. The reason why the X10 does not get five stars from me: The mop function leaves small puddles of water on the floor while it is running. I totally understand that there will be a wet residue after the X10 passes over an area, but this was more than just what was being left down by the rotating mop heads. There were actually small puddles everywhere the X10 made a turn and went the other direction. These did not try within a minute or two, but last for 5-10 minutes. That is a bit of a bummer. You think the area is dry and then you step into these little water leftovers. The other thing I noticed is after a couple of mops, the X10 started leaving little wet chunks of lint on the floor that I had to pick up myself. I got around this by turning the Smart Mode off and then sending the X10 around on two separate trips, one to vacuum and one to mop. But that kind of stinks, because now it is running twice as long and why have Smart Mode at all? That is my only caveat with the X10, and thus the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, this is a great unit. I highly recommend it. A couple of small shortcomings, but the fact that it auto cleans (both mop and vacuum) and also auto dries the mop heads (so you don’t have soggy mop heads sitting on it for days on end), coupled with a great user interface and battery life, make this a great purchase.

Comparing to a iRobot I7 with bin and Braava M6. Obviously the IRobot is older than the Eufy but the improvement is not small. The iRobot constantly got lost, stuck, or wouldn’t get fully on the docking station leaving it uncharged. We would give up on it for months (a year?) at a time. The Eufy mapped 3,000 sq ft in about 45 minutes and the map was more accurate than the iRobot which would require several hours and several mapping runs. Designating zones and things is easier/more simple on the IRobot app but was not rocket science. The Eufy has more settings for speed and suction than the IRobot. It tends to get less confused, does not get lost, and doesn’t get stuck vs the IRobot. We haven’t tested any of the “smart” features but it’s nice to be able to set up a quick run vs a “deep clean.” We use ours primarily to deal with a White German Shepherd’s fur and it does this well. The brushes, roller, and dust bin do fill, but do not clog. It isn’t quiet but isn’t crazy loud either. The mop is superior in that it cleans itself and actually picks up dirt and mud vs the Braava which worked more like a swiffer- it also left streaks where the Eufy does not. Our home is primarily hardwood floors and the tank lasts for 5-6 kitchen cleanings or 2 whole main floor cleanings. We aim to mop the whole home once a week and the kitchen once every other day and This vacuum fulfills the promise of these devices being pretty close to “set it and forget it.”

I’ve tried my fair share of robot vacuums. But the Eufy X10 Pro Omni is in a league of its own. It has some of the typical features you would expect in a robot vacuum, plus much more. Home navigation and mapping are easy. The X10 has no issues with multiple surfaces or obstacles. It uses laser guided navigation in conjunction with a that helps identify various obstacles along its path. Since the X10 touts it’s use of AI to identify objects it captures, rest assured knowing that these features can also be disabled in the app if that doesn’t sit well with you. The X10 is a combo map/vacuum – quite possibly the best one I have ever used. The mop lifts to 12mm and has a downward pressure of 1kg. I was a little surprised by the dual pentagon-shaped mopping pads. They do a fantastic job of mopping and clean surprisingly well. The base station is incredible – I do not know if anyone else is doing it like this yet, but they will be soon. The automatic emptying of the dust bin is common in similar devices, but the automated washing and refilling of the water reservoir is a new one for me. On top of that, the base station has a built-in dryer for the mop heads when a mop job is complete. Next level. I am generally obsessed with robot vacuums, and I find myself buying a new one every 6 – 9 months. I do not know if the X10 is going anywhere any time soon. Impressive job Eufy!

Great performance on lvp floors while vacuuming/mopping. All this robot tackles is dust and some crumbs that end up on the floor. Before deploying it I remove thin place mats from its path because it sometimes catches an edge and rolls up the carpet a bit creating an obstacle to deal with, as well as removing the lint from the air filter since it clogs with lint often, like a dryer filter, so I ensure that the filter is clean before deploying it to avoid suction performance degradation due to a clogged filter. Although the floors look clean I always dump brown water from the waste tank so the mops work very well. Set up with the app and robot were easy and a breeze to set up. No issues with mapping the work area, and no issues encountered with its navigation. Couple days later I rearranged some furniture and second remap of the work area was quick and detailed. The mops are still holding up in good shape and I use the Eufy clean water solution which leaves a very light scent, if any, on the floors. If in the market for a kind of affordable robot vac this is a short list candidate specially when it's on sale. Those savings will be needed at least for spare dust bags.

The eufy X10 Pro Omni Robot Vacuum and Mop is like having a robot from the future cleaning your floors. The engineers have designed the eufy X10 Pro Omni to be about as simple, yet sophisticated as one can get…from initial setup to operation. First and foremost, you will need a smartphone and Wi-Fi to operate the system. Control is all done through the eufy Clean phone app. Setup is as easy as removing all the packing labels, filling the fresh water tank, and plugging the base station into the wall. The robot will initially conduct a thorough mapping of your floor plan. Configuration of the cleaning is highly customizeable and honestly I can’t think of anything that isn’t covered by the app. You can setup the eufy to clean rooms and zones, and maps can be fully customized with names and boundaries edited to break down cleaning into what are called “Scenarios”. Eufy’s built-in artificial intelligence determines if the floor is a hard surface or carpet, and it knows to recognize and avoid objects lying around, such as dog toys, shoes, etc. Scheduling is also highly customizable to clean at various times of the day, days of the week, and even which rooms to clean to fit around your schedule. You can even set up “no-go zones” for areas where you don’t want eufy to clean or cause damage to itself. Just as important, it has a child lock to prevent accidents with infants and young children. We have two dogs and they were curious initially, but soon lost interest and eufy was allowed to clean without any canine interference. You can adjust things like suction power, self-cleaning, repeat cleaning, etc., but I found default settings to work just fine but may do some fine-tuning as I learn more about what’s possible. Battery life appears very good as ours cleaned for well over an hour with no sign of wearing down. It will return to base to charge the battery, add water, dispose of dirty water, and empty the vacuum all on its own. A pleasant voice will keep you informed as it performs its duties. Eufy sells all the necessary supplies, such as replacement brushes, mops, and vacuum bags and prices are very reasonable and affordable. Being my first experience with a robotic vacuum/mop, I am thoroughly impressed with eufy. My only nitpick might be the fact that you have to use vacuum bags, and it can be loud when it empties. It’s great for keeping up with cleaning and vacuuming, but I would still recommend a good hand mopping and vacuuming the old-fashioned way from time to time. Don’t sell the vacuum. With eufy vacuuming and mopping all of our floors, I might need to find a new hobby with all this new spare time I am going to have. Again, this is my first experience with a robotic mop/vacuum, but I can’t imagine a combo mop/vac that performs better than the eufy X10 Pro Omni.

This year, I finally caved and started to seriously consider a "do-it-all" flagship robot vacuum. Anytime I'm looking at spending $1000 or more on something, I spend an obsessive amount of time researching my options. But for every review of a $1000+ flagship model I watched, I'd always see a recommended review of the X10 Pro Omni. Discovering reviews about the X10 Pro Omni was confusing...the concensus seemed to be that it was really great, but everybody still insisted on calling it a mid-range model, presumably because of its price. The implication seemed to be that something was still holding it back from going toe to toe with the obscenely expensive flagships. Fortunately for me, this thing has exceeded all of my expectations and then some. My floors are as clean as I want them to be (freshly vacuumed & mopped) on a near-daily basis. I can walk around the house all day in white socks and they stay white, with barely a stray dog hair stuck to them. The best part is I've barely had to lift a finger. The first time I turned this robot over to look at the roller was after 5 days of use and there were only a few strands of hair tangled in the bristles. I didn't even have to remove the roller to pick them out. When I looked at the mop pads, to see how clean the self-cleaning feature actually got them, they looked like they were fresh out of the wash. The drip tray will need cleaned out semi-regularly, it looks like, as I had some sediment starting to cake up in the bottom of mine, but it's removable and that should be a quick rinse & good to go. I can run it at any point in time, which is such a night and day difference from my old robot. The X10 Pro Omni is a ninja by comparison. Even on max suction vacuuming, it's like having a 50db dishwasher running...you can hear it, but it's not bothersome. In summary, I love this thing and have been nothing but impressed with its performance, acoustics, convenience and value. Maybe the $1,000-1,800 models are better...but I would have a hard time beliving their performance scales linearly with their increased price.

I love this vacuum, I moved up from a Shark, and this one maps, cleans, and mops better than any other robot vacuum I've ever had. It maps your residence super fast and easy. It avoids all objects and spot cleans with ease. The only drawback is that it empities the dust bag really oftern. My Sharks could almost clean my entire house without dumping the dust and dirt. Also, this one has a dust bag that i am sure I will need to replace at some point. That's why i say 4.9 is a better score. I also added one small room than what my Shark cleaned, but I don't think that would contribute to the dust bag getting full so fast. As a matter of fact, i am sure. One of the best purchases ive ever made.

    My Favourite Robotic Vacuum!

I couldn't have asked for a better robotic vacuum for both vacuuming and mopping. This does both efficiently. First and foremost, the design is great and doesn't look odd while placed inside the house. Let's talk about vacuuming, its powerful 8000 Pa suction capability allows it to remove the hidden debris inside the carpets, it doesn't even let one pet hair go unnoticed. I hardly find any missed spots. Although it makes frequent trips to the base to dump the trash, I do not mind it as it is all seamlessly done without any manual intervention. The dust bag is big enough from my home to last about a few weeks. As with any type of vacuum, the most tricky part is to take the tangled hair out but the roller brush of this vacuum rotates in the opposite direction and its Pro-Detangle comp flips to loosen and remove the hair itself without me monitoring or doing it myself. When it comes to mopping, it can switch easily between the modes to keep the home as clean as any human would do by cleaning for hours. The dual mop pads are used with 180 rotations per minute and can clean the stickiest of stains to make the floors spotless. When it detects the carpet area then it automatically raise by 12mm to prevent it getting wet. As per the provided instructions, I wash these mop pads using clean water and then dry them at around 45 °C to prevent bad odor and to avoid the bacteria growth. We are living in the AI age and how can this be eluded from this, so it is capable of identifying more than 100 different objects like wires, shoes, toys, etc to navigate around these and not to move to areas which are already cleaned earlier. Not just this, I use the app to schedule the cleaning as per my availability and this does the rest. This has the capability to create the cleaning routes around the home which can be used for future cleaning jobs.

I recently tried the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni robot vacuum and mop, and was very impressed though with a few minor nitpicks. The eufy X10 Pro excels in several areas: its rotating brushes are particularly effective, avoiding the mop lines that are common in some other traditional, more entry-level robot vacuums I have used previously. The auto-mapping function accurately charted my home's layout on its first try, which was impressive. In the past, I have dealt with competing products that needed multiple mapping attempts. Overall, the Android app was intuitive and user-friendly. The cleaning power stands up to the premium players in the robot vacuum space. The X10 managed to handle all of the dog hair, dust, and debris on both the hardwood and rugs throughout my house. A standout feature is its self-maintenance capability. If you have never owned a robot vacuum with self-dumping; you are missing out! The vacuum automatically empties its contents into a bag at the docking station, reducing manual cleanup. This, coupled with a self-cleaning function for the mop pads, was extremely convenient. On the flip side, the vacuum's reliance on bags for waste disposal might be seen as both a benefit for its mess-free convenience and a drawback due to the additional cost of replacements. Also, although its object detection surpasses many models on the market, it falls slightly short of the benchmark set by the most advanced vacuums. While the robot's laser-powered object detection managed to avoid all of the dog toys and other objects on my floor, it did misclassify an object as animal waste. This is not a dealbreaker though by any means, and future updates might bridge this gap. Also, I prefer that the robot errs on the side of over-detecting these sorts of "problematic" objects rather than not. When compared to premium robot vacuums, the eufy X10 Pro Omni's taller design restricts its ability to navigate under some low-lying furniture. While its build quality may not rival that of more expensive models, this does not significantly impede its functionality, which competes closely with top-tier vacuums but at a more accessible price point. In conclusion, the eufy X10 Pro Omni strikes a commendable balance between affordability and performance. It might lack the premium aesthetics of some high-end competitors, but it delivers a robust cleaning experience that rivals the best in its category, making it an excellent choice for those entering the robot vacuum market or looking to upgrade without excessive spending.

TL; DR: I can’t believe how well the Eufy X10 Pro Omni works. It seamlessly switches between mop and vacuum going over our living room flooring and then rugs, and then the carpet in the rooms. The base is wider and deeper than other self-cleaning vacuums due to the additional bin for waste water, but the unit is still fairly compact and doesn’t stand out in our house. Up front, the only - absolutely nitpicking here - negative I have found is that the waste water bin is small. So as the X10 makes multiple return trips to dump dirty water and refill, the waste water bin gets full really quickly. Granted, given its dirty water, you would want to dump it frequently to prevent mildew and nasty odors, but I still found it somewhat annoying to have to dump multiple times. Reall other than that, I can’t say enough good things. The directional sensors are smart enough that I never once saw the X10 bump its nose into furniture or walls, and even looking at the marks, there weren’t any missed spots on the flooring nor on the rug despite going back and forth. This makes cleaning so much easier. My wife absolutely loves this addition to our home.

I received my unit yesterday and followed the instructions to setup. Once in the app I was greeted with a firmware update notification which brought me up to 2.2.34. Be warned that every version above this will remove the obstacle photos feature so I turned off auto update. After a bit of charging I sent the robot out for a mapping run. With the dock set in the kitchen it set out mapping the kitchen, made a left turn and mapped part of the master bedroom and after mapping the master bathroom it declared it was done and went back to the dock. I moved the unit to the living room and sent it back out again and this time it was able to map the whole house but once it returned it could not dock itself while on carpet so I moved the dock back to its original position and then it was able to dock. Today I sent it out to clean the whole house and it was able to correctly identify carpet from mopping areas all by itself. Obstacle avoidance seems to work for the most part and its pretty good at seeing shoes, wires and pedestals. If a door was closed or an area blocked when it tries the first time it will return to complete that area. Where it fails is with floor mats and especially bathroom mats which it will curl up and suck into the brush. Mopping performance is very good getting up muddy shoe prints with out any smearing or streaking. I use a small amount of Bissell solution but you can use whatever you please. Based upon what I'm seeing I will have to dump the waste tank and fill the fresh tank every two days but that's fine. Tanks are easily removed by simply pulling up and each has a locking tab that you just pull out to open the top. Likewise the vacuum bag sits beside them and is easily removed and replaced. Charging takes a very long time. When the battery gets too low during a cleaning run it will return to dock and recharge. Unlike some other units I've had it does not wait to get to 100% to go back out and will auto restart once it thinks it has enough battery to complete the rest of the map. In my use case it went back out at 86% state of charge. No machine is perfect but this one does a very good job and is reasonably priced especially if you can catch it on sale. I also added a 4 year geek squad warranty on it because it is a machine will lots of moving parts. Would I recommend this robot? Yes I would but keep in mind that my unit misbehaved while the base was on carpet with tons of free space all around it. I messaged support in the app and received a generic response that wasn't every helpful. Alternative choice: I would choose the Roborock QRevo Master which is also on sale right now with swing brush and swing mop technology. I might buy one anyway to have two units in the house.

Received the Eufy X10 double boxed. Opening was straightforward, but was at a loss looking for the instruction booklet. Only thing included was a safety booklet. Finally figured to scan the QR code to download instructions and app to operate the unit. The downloaded instructions include illustrations which make setup easy. The app takes you through strep by step check and startup. After this, I added water, setup WI-fi and Bluetooth, charged the unit and set out to see what it could do. We have a pet, and I left some pet hair on the carpet on purpose to test pick up ability. I turned the unit on, the unit connected and set out to map an clean at the same time. As to the actual operation, I can see some pluses and also minuses. The pros. The operation of this is amazing. It will come out from base, map rooms, clean floors – switching from carpet brush to spinning hard floor brush – return to base clean and dry brushes, pump out dirty water, get fresh water, and come out to continue cleaning again. All automatically! So far so good. However, I saw several drawbacks. To the mapping. I found it did miss some areas. I believe I could prompt it from app to cover these areas, but didn't try this. It gets fairly close to edges, but is within about 1 to 1½ inches. It did pick up pet hair fairly well, but did did not pick up some hair deeper in carpet. Of course, it cannot move obstacles to get behind, underneath or behind. And, you must “prep” cleaning area to remove pet toys, appliance wires, and small “flimsy” little rugs. All in all, I think this would be absolutely fantastic in certain applications, but falls short in some areas. I believe the best use of this would be in living spaces with a lot of hard floors, more spacious areas without too much clutter, and pets that shed less. And where “set – it – and - forget – it” would be a big benefit. And, it does take some floor space, so planning on the best placement is a must.
