  • Sleek and Discreet Sensor

    I love how sleek and discrete Eve’s Door and Window sensor is when mounted. Not only can you receive notifications when the door/window is opened, but you can also set up automations to run. We currently have an automation running that turns on our light strip in the kitchen when we open the door, and it has been great! It’s so nice to have everything automated and not have to tell Siri what to turn on. When my hands are full or I’m carrying my daughter, I know that my automations will run seamlessly to help me out. It also comes with extensions/expanders to make the smaller sensor taller if need be, which I did end up using to get the perfect connection.

    Purchased two. One picked up by iPhone immediately. Second shows a light when open & close door but will not register on iPhone.

    These sensors are very fast if hooked to a Thread network, making them excellent for initiating automations in HomeKit. The first one I had was chewing through batteries and the company (Eve) replaced it with no issues. Great product, great company.

    Easy set up, works and does everything it says it will. This product and company actually respect your privacy and information. They don’t eat your bandwidth either. My favorite HomeKit accessory.

    As advertised, easy to setup had it up and running in a couple of minutes. After installation going to the Eve app prompted for a firmware update that added Thread capability, bonus!

    After first setting this up, it worked beautifilully for a couple of weeks. It can send notifications to the devices on your Apple Homekit home. This thing will work for a few days/ weeks, then randomly stop working for a few days. The sensor is not far from my home router (mesh), so there is not a distance issue. I chose this because it’s Apple Homekit compatible. Other Homekit devices on my netowork have no issues like this.

    I'm just getting into the Apple HomeKit ecosystem and these eve door & window sensors are awesome. I have no issues as of yet.
