PROS: 1. Never need to replace batteries. 2. Bright light adjustable timer 3. Super easy to add in Apple Homekit 4. I love all the options to pick zones, people/pets, times, and the night mode looks fantastic. 5. This was my first time installing anything electrical and i figured it out, therefore im gonna say its a pro i could install it myself for free. CONS: 1. You have to have the lightswitch on for it to operate. If someone accidentally shuts it off then the camera is off. I wish it had optional backup battery for this. 2. Customization is a pro for me, but others in my household dont like having to figure out how to setup timers and auromations etc so for some it may seem like a tedious setup. Def better for the DIY security Homekit enthusiasts. CONCLUSION: i want more but i am limited where they can go/work because they are intended to replace existing lights and I’m not interested in paying for any electrical work. Please come out with a battery or plug in model!!

I bought this camera because I was looking for a homekit enabled outdoor camera; I have iCloud+, so the storage is covered through that subscription. So, that brought me to this camera. It's... just okay. The camera picture quality is pretty impressive. However, its ability to record, and show a live picture in either the Eve or Home app is unimpressive and concerning. I'm holding on to hope that will be addressed as a software update. The flood light is definitely nice, though it is a harsh, soft, LED-white. My back porch used to have a warm light and it was a nicer vibe for me. Installation was really straightforward. So TLDR the biggest drawback is the lag in the live feed and its ability to save the recording clip when there is activity. If you are not in the Apple ecosystem already, I would probably look at other cameras. If you are in the Apple ecosystem, this isn't a bad option. Maybe there are better ones on the market, or better ones to come.

Device will not connect to an iPhone. After initial installation the device refuses to add into HomeKit. Attempted rebooting after 30 seconds and 5 minutes of power off. I also attempted holding the reset button. Nothing has helped, read other online reviews of this product. has
