Customers are impressed with Ever Oasis's engaging gameplay and captivating story, frequently praising the enjoyable experience and easy-to-follow narrative. Many also highlighted the game's exploration elements and charming art style. While some found the game less challenging, the positive feedback on the core gameplay mechanics and town-building aspects outweighs this concern.

Awesome game!
Created by the maker of Secret of Mana this game is a breath of fresh air in the action/rpgs market.
It is a hidden gem that so many are going. To overlook because of the lack of marketing for it..but in ten years time will be hard to find and worth a bundle.
In the game you have your typical RPG story of darkness overtaking the land... but rather then jus fight to save you must start a desert oasis town as a beakan of hope.
The game shines in that while you have dungeons and monsters to fight in the outside world you have a city to grow and manage. You recruit new villagers to live and open shops in your village. You manage the city and make money. Your villagers just don't do that however. Some of them will end up being companions in your adventures and will help you as you fight through the world and look for supplies etc. for the growth of your Oasis.
Fighting is action based (think ZELDA)
I still am only scratching the surface of the game but I highly suggest it to fans of action rpgs.

Some of my favorite games come at the end of a system's life cycle when we've already moved on to the next gen. I'm currently playing most games on my Switch, but couldn't resist picking this up and giving my 3DS some more love. Fantastic game, great music, original story/gameplay. a very fun and solid pickup for anyone looking for something new to play on their 3DS before they go full Switch!

Lovely artwork combined with hack n' slash action and town building makes for a fun adventure. Complete villager requests and stock up their shops to grow your oasis.
I wish the crafting system was a bit more complex, but it suits its purposes.

I like it I'm pretty far into the game and there are many elements that play into growing your oasis town. Like some 3DS games I questioned if it'd hold my interest but I keep playing it daily. There's some problem solving aspects to it and some action/fighting to it which is nice as well.

Underrated Action RPG

This is a game that in 5 years will show up on "Most underrated 3DS games" The game is a mix of action RPG, dungeon crawling, and city building. Neither aspect is particularly deep but together they make an addicting game. What makes things so much fun is that every town member is a playable character. While each character isn't amazingly memorable they all do have a series of side quests that tell a short story about the character. The tone of this game is a little weird because it's very bright colorful and cheerful, but a lot of the side stories and even the main story are very somber and a little bit sad. Don't pass this one up!

I was looking forward to this game ever since the first trailer came out and it did not disappoint. My only complaint is the map system. It is not as intuitive as I would like it to be, but the game play is fun and there is always something that needs to be done. Recommended!

The game is pretty simple as far as plot and gameplay goes. You lead an oasis village in the middle of a desert, expanding it against the ever looming "Chaos" and monsters in the desert. In your village, you help citizens, grow crops, craft items. Out in the desert, you fight monsters and solve dungeon puzzles. All of these aspects individually are simplified compared to others ( such as harvest moon, animal crossing, or legend of zelda titles )
But when combined together, we have here a wonderful adventure that I can easily sink hours of time into. The visuals are appealing, the gameplay is fluid, and the story is cute. All in all, I would say a must have for anyone a fan of the farming/adventuring type of gamers, and at least a good start for those looking to try out the genre.

Decent story if a little familiar. I like how the dungeons mix puzzles and combat. It's decent, if not super varied. Building up the town is a neat feature.

First time playing a monster Hunter game. More rpg than standard Hunter game, this has me wanting to give one of the main series a shot. I can't put it down, 20 hours in, well worth it.

This game appeals to the old Harvest Moon and Rune Factory fan in me, as the more recent titles in those two franchises have felt a little lacking for various reasons. For some reason I'm really enjoying Ever Oasis, I like the combat, I like the art style and the scenery, the character designs. The farming is simple without being tedious, and there's a good sense of progression.

Legendary game designer Koichi Ishii (creator of the Square's Mana series) has been exploring two major concepts throughout most of his career: our relationship with nature, and the importance of community. With Ever Oasis, Ishii's development team has created a game that brings those two concepts front-and-center.
In Ever Oasis, players take on the role of the chief of the last surviving Oasis in desert devastated by Chaos. You journey out into the wilderness to explore dungeons, collect crafting materials, bash monsters, and solve puzzles using the different skills of your character and his/her various party members. These teammates are drawn from the citizenry of your Oasis home; and when you're not out adventuring, its your task to maintain the happiness and well being of everyone who lives there. A big, happy population means new shops, new crafting recipes, a larger HP bar, and fatter wallet. The desert is a harsh place, but by fostering community, you can beat the chaos back.
Ever oasis is a positive, upbeat action RPG that mixes the adventuring of Zelda with the lite sim elements of Animal Crossing. It's a must play for those looking for a game that's equal parts addictive and heartwarming.

A strange mix of sim like game-play and RPG mechanics, makes this one of the last great 3DS games, action, puzzle solving, town management, all rolled up into a great time!
