EVGA is a solid company, the RTX 3080 is a groundbreaking GPU.
It is very fast and very pretty (Graphics). I was very pleased to learn that Best Buy was giving me a one time 10% off, on 1 item, for the month of my birthday. Bam! The most sought after product atm, and I got it under retail, after tax was added. I wasw also quite pleased with the curbside service BB offers, it was quick and convenient. Great experience overall.

This card runs extremely fast out of the box. I was able to run at ~80% power with a mild overclock. The only con is that it runs fairly hot. Temps are in the mid 70C under full load and low 50s at idle. Be ready to give your power supply a workout, mine regularly draws 275W+.
The card has a weird cowl that looks like lips on the back so the look won't be for everyone. Mine stays under a desk so I don't care, personally.

It is a 3080, not based on availability it's the best. Just being able to hit 120+ fps in 4k in some games and really 100+ in most others it's insane to experience honestly. Just doesn't get old really. I love it, pushes any game I could ever want right now and I'm so thankful I got lucky enough to get one and I hope everyone will get a chance to get one too if they want.

I get a 4 beep code on reboot on motherboard but still boots and card runs fine . Card handles everything and allows undervolting and overclocking though the card runs under load at 77-83C depending on case you can keep it in the upper 70s by undervolting and getting the same performance got this card at msrp luckily. don't buy from scalpers wait for the next best buy drop

Great card with good performance and a relatively small cooler. Barely fits into the Ghost S1 with backplate removed. Cooler is just barely good enough to handle the power consumption of the 3080. Relatively warm and loud under load, but not terrible. Note that this card has a lower TDP limit than most 3080s (320W vs 350W) and performance will take a small hit.

Performs just as well as any other 3080 out of the box, but can run hot (~80C) as it is only a 2 slot cooler. This card can be easily undervolted to alleviate the temperature problems while sacrificing very little, if any, performance. I run mine at 875 mV / 1950 MHz, which takes the peak temp down to about 72C. Highly recommended.

The price slightly increased a month after my purchase date but it's worth it. Card will probably be good for years to come. Multi Year Manufacturer warranty is great. Considering replacing thermal paste a few years down the line when its out of warranty. Also EVGA has history of taking care of their customers.

Purchased for mining. Does 96 mh/s without issues, fans are pretty silent, given they are usually at 80-90%. Feels a bit cheap compared to ASUS, but has way better price.

Love it! Two eight pin connectors. The red shown on the images isn't there anymore, its actually black now. EVGA logo on side of the card as well as top are customizable in light pattern and color. Really love the card and happy I could get it at MSRP nonetheless. No problems with temps either.

This card runs well and I can even overclock it a bit with Precision X1 software from EVGA. It runs cool and the fans are virtually silent even when running at 30-50% speed when running games. It hits 60C and the fans spin up to counter the heat output and you can barely tell.

It's not the best 3080 probably, but its the one I was able to secure. Ignoring everything regarding the process to get a card, it performs as expected. Compared to my aging GTX 1080, the performance in the games I play is roughly double paired with a i7-8700 at 3440x1440. The geforce overlay can give you a ton of information now regarding temps, fan speeds, ai based overclocking, etc. I haven't been able to test many of the RTX features but DLSS seemed cool in the Back 4 blood beta. Lastly my major reason for wanting to upgrade was my crashes in FFXIV have stopped, I think they pertained to having a hardware based GSYNC based monitor while running a GTX 10 series GPU on newer drivers, and rolling back helped but didnt eliminate the issue but havent had a crash since the upgrade. Overall if you wanna go all out, this or an FE card are really good "value" 3080's and the experience is what I expected. In b4 the rumored end of year super model refreshes.

Awesome card. No issues or complaints. Given the demand, beggars can't be choosers. I'm happy with the performance. It's worth noting to check your setup to ensure you'll see the benefits of these 3000 cards. Depending upon the games and your setup you may be spending more than you need to.

I’ve been on team green for over a decade and this is the first 80 I’ve bought. Solid card for the price and it’s the one you should get if it’s available. I’m upgrading from a 2060 super and out of the box this performs about the same as the 2060 s with a slight over clock. Ray tracing looks great in control but kills frames. Dlss is still not great despite what reviewers would say (good enough in gen 2 is not acceptable for a premium product). All in all I’d recommend it if you can get it but I’m excited to see if amd can dethrone nvidia like they did intel.

Any review less than 5 stars is most likely someone jealous they didn't get on at MSRP. Packaged nicely, came with the game, no issues. 3080 is great and I'm glad I skipped a generation to get one. Make sure you understand how beefy the card is before you buy it.
