Performance of this 3090 variant is by far one of the best, if you are capable of getting it. The performance in ultrawide 32:9 (5120x1440) resolution is amazing! With Ray Tracing performance, it does improve quite a bit over last generations RTX. But note, you'll still want to utilize DLSS if you can to have better FPS performances. Also for those on 32:9 resolutions, DLSS 1.0 will not function properly and you'll want to find titles that support DLSS 2.0 at least. Now would I recommend this card, only if you have the cash and will be using it for more than just gaming...aka productivity. For the price of this card at its normal MSRP, it is expensive!!! I would personally recommend for people on a budget to at least look at nvidia 3080 or AMD 6800XT (if you can find them). Finally, don't buy from scalpers...you'll eventually find these cards.

I have spent a month playing with this card. I use it to AI upscale videos and play games. 2115Mhz seems to be a stable overclock for the core and +875 for the GDDR6x memory. I suck down 305 watts on the GPU alone and total system power sits at 650 watts under load with spikes up to 750 watts. This card will heat up the room the PC is in. My room gets hot when this card is under load on either air or water. It's a fairly light card considering it's size. The water block is at least double the weight. Honestly water cooling isn't necessary unless you want low noise or if you have an early model and you want to get rid of the ugly red clown lips on the side. My overclocks are identical with air and water. The memory got cooler, so that helped with keeping it overclocked for a long gaming session (the memory dies at 70C). Just leave the card in a week ventilated space and you'll be fine. You do have a dual vbios different and OC. The only difference is fan speed.

Great card if you got the dough.

This card (with a Ryzen 9 5950x) is capable of running Call of Duty Warzone at 180-200 FPS at Maxed out settings at 1440p. If you got the dough this card is about an inch shorter than a Founders Edition and run cooler (depending on your setup). Has a cool rgb accent bar, although I wish it came with a monitoring screen like some other 3090s considering the $1800 price. Other than this can run any came at ultimate setting at QHD and hit 160 FPS plus with no issues. Bonus: my average temp for this card at full load is around 69 to 73 Celsius.

Finally an Nvidia card with plenty of vram for game development & modeling work. Extremely expensive, but a quiet and effective cooler keep this massive card cool, plus it looks great. Wouldn't buy just for gaming but 24gb should keep it relevant for many years.

    What an insane GPU

This 3090 variant is one of the best to buy, only trailing behind the Asus ROG Strix OC in performance. The looks in my opinion are amazing and in person it looks better due to the material and build quality it has, not to mention the visual appeal of the RGB light strip on the side. Fan noise, an issue I had with previous EVGA cards when overclocking, has been reduced and also sounds more pleasant on this card; instead of sounding like a vacuum cleaner it sounds more like an idling jet engine if put into my own words. Over my 2080 Ti I am seeing at least a 45% increase in performance at 1440p, when not averaging closer to 50%. Additionally, this GPU in ray tracing intensive games like Minecraft RTX will see figures of 80+ percent performance increases. However, make sure you have either an anti-sag bracket compatible case available or an anti-sag stand as you can clearly see the GPU sag in my provided pictures. Additionally I recommend at least an 850W Gold-efficiency power supply with 3 8-pin VGA power connectors ready.

I'm so grateful to EVGA I signed up on their website to auto-notify me when one of their video cards would become available because I wasn't about to pay overpriced for this. So the email came and I was able to purchase one of these cards directly from the manufacturer at cost! I love this cards its a beast and handles anything you throw at it. Not only that the lighting on this card is AMAZING wow it's SO Bright! If you can get your hands on one of these I would highly recommend it! make sure to register your product on EVGA's website within 14 days of your purchase! they do have a 3 year warranty!

Great card for 4k/1440p (high refresh rates)

This card is a monster. I upgraded from a 2080TI so I didn't think I'd see a difference, but at the larger resolutions and refresh rates, this truly does shine. I have been playing on 4k/120hz or 1440p/240hz and the extra FPS it can squeeze out is amazing when playing AAA titles. My honest recommendation is that if you do NOT play on 1440p/4k, do not get this card. It will be useless compared to a 3070/3080. The benchmarks AND real world performance truly only give this card the edge when the resolution is cranked up. Also still can't believe I got it at retail price, but BestBuy bot protection came through.

Purchased this for my friend who needed a 3090 for his workstation, but he is also an avid gamer and splurge for the OC and RGB. He has no complaints at all. EVGA has the best warranty experience and customer service from my previous personal experiences.

I'd give it 5 stars If it weren't so expensive. Performance is second to none, runs super cool due to amazing cooling system, and one huge benefit is the length of the card, it's considerbly shorter than the reference card and was able to fit in my system without any issues. Saved me from buying a new case.

Bought two of them for NvLink as I do a lot AI and Rendering workloads. 1 card was fine but on the warm side even in a cold room with good airflow. The other card has a problem during load as 2 of the fans stop working and the 3rd fan ramps up to 100%. The Temp shoots up to 90C and the card clocks down so it doesn't die. Unfortunately stay away from the EVGA cards. I'll keep check to see if there is a fix but I have u til January 16th to return them so I should be ok.

Purchased the card direct from EVGA and it's running wonderfully. Wasn't sure about the design at first, but am happy to report mine has black side accents (instead of the red) and the light bar has a very nice silver tint with the RGB off. Performance is as expected: blazing fast. It's quieter and runs much cooler than I expected.

This card consistently boosts to 1950 MHz and it gives great performance out of the box. Very happy with purchase. My only two semi-complaints are 1) there are no water blocks for this GPU yet (as of mid/early Nov) and 2) wish I had 2 hdmi outputs instead of 3 DP, but thats nothing an DP-HDMI adapter cannot solve. Overall, very happy.

we sold few of these and a couple came back to us as faulty or having display issues. I spoke with a BestBuy representative who confirmed to me that they had similar complains from other customer.
