Customers are saying

Customers admire the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 SSC Gaming 6GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card for its budget-friendly price point and impressive performance. Many gamers have noticed significant improvements in their gaming experiences, especially when playing FPS games. The card also operates quietly and maintains a cool temperature, even during intense gaming sessions. Installation is simple, making it a great choice for those looking for an easy upgrade. While some users have mentioned that the card's size may require a full tower case, and that it lacks SLI support, these concerns seem to be outweighed by the card's overall value and performance.

Bought it because the price was right for what I was looking for. Been putting the card through the wringer with a hefty overclock and it hasn't skipped a beat. The dual fans also do a great job of keeping the temps in check.

I purchased the SSC (super-superclocked) version of the EVGA GTX 1060. This is faster than the SC version and slower than the FTW version. Easy to install as long as you have enough room in the case. Matches well to my i7-6700 CPU. During summer of 2017 there was a shortage of all mid to high range graphics cards due to high demand from cryptocurrency miners. Inventory at Amazon and Newegg was always sold out. Even now in October, there is only 1 GTX 1060 6GB model in stock at BB. After months of searching, Best Buy came through for me with the brand that I wanted at a fair price. I intended to buy the single fan version but only the dual fan model was available so I placed my order. Delivery was prompt and the product was sealed and undamaged.

Im real happy with this card. I bought it to use in my Alienware Graphics Amplifier for my 17R3 and according to the Bench Mark Programs Ive ran on it, its more powerfull than the gtx980 I use to have... so for $300 its definitly worth the money. i wouldn't get the 3gb card though, 6gb is on par with what your going to need for most games these days not to mention the 6gb version has faster clock speeds.... this card has no problems playing my games on all ULTRA settings in 1080p or higher on some. i play gears of war 4, the division, destiny 2, all of the call of duties, tomb raider games, forza, need for speed, battlefield 1 and it rocks all of them.

I bought this card as the last upgrade needed to make my pc VR ready (oculus rift). It runs every game I have very well, and with most games turned up to ultra quality. The card was easy to install, runs cool and quiet, and with the 6gb of ram, is the best overall value I found anywhere. Definitely recommended.

Great card reasonable price. EVGA - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6144MB no problems installing into an off the rack HP. WARNING the card is larger than you may think looking at the pictures so is you have a really small case plan ahead. Also, you will need to upgrade your Power Supply to support a graphics card of this caliber! This is by no means a critique it is just a fact so you can plan ahead! The card runs FANTASTIC on with a AMD A10-6700 W 12GB RAM I would recommend it!

I had an R9 390 that was suffering from some glitch that made my screen blank out during game play (its a thing, google it). I did not have the money to spend on a 1070 and was tired of getting burned by Radeons, so I got the 1060 and I have not looked back since. It is playing all the same games and they just look crisper. IDK if that is real or not, but not having your screen go blank while you are being chased by a horde of zombies is a great thing.

I find this EVGA card substantially better than the (other brand) Nvidia 1050 4g card and the Radeon RX460 4g card. Playing primarily Guild Wars 2 on very high settings now and am able to play in the WvW environment with great results as far as fps. For all games that I have this card is well worth it, especially if you aren't able to spend the $600 or more for a good 1080 card. For the money this 1060 is great.

In my setup, I actually had the RX480 for a while, but returned it and switched to this 1060. The rx480 was good but I like the 1060 better. Runs cooler, overall it has marginally better performance in most games. Runs everything in 1080/ultra at great FPS thanks to i7 7700k

This card plays everything I throw at it on ultra settings, at a minimum of 60fps, on 1080p. I have yet to try it out on a higher resolution, as I don't have a capable monitor. CPU- FX 8350 4.0ghz GPU- EVGA GTX 1060 6gb SSC RAM- 16gb Samsung DDr3 1600mhz

This is a very quiet GPU and provides great results. It was easy to install even in my incredibly tight case. No heat issues, and everything runs on ultra settings that I have tried. Very pleased.

    Great Starter Card

I purchased this card on a budget as a starter card to replace my GTX 750 2gb card I had. For the price and performance its a great beginner card for anyone looking to play any game and get over 60fps on higher settings. I play h1z1 myself and get around 120-150 frames on low settings. For what the card is its not bad but will deff upgrade to like a 1070 later on just because I need the extra power for streaming and video recording / rendering editing. Overall tho if you plan to play at 1080p and want to make game settings out and have over 60 fps this cards the way to go for the price. I had the RX 480 8gb reference when it came out and I prefer this much better. Nvidia drivers and support is just so much smoother when it comes to gaming. If you can spare the extra 100$ though I would just grab the 1070 off the get go.

Great card, a bit too pricey for 192-bit and 6gb

This is hands down a fantastic card. It literally runs everything I throw at it. That said however, it is a little bit overpriced. At the time of purchase (not review) it was $300~ Now, last generation or any before it that would be and insane price for the type of performance you get out of this thing, but while their is cards out there that have 8 or 12 GB, there should only be a 6GB version anyway, there shouldn't be a 3GB version that I have to pay MORE to upgrade from. It already isn't future-proof because some games are already exceeding 3GB before the cards release. Also, 192-bit I feel was a bit low, I would have liked to see at least 256-bit memory. And to add a little more I can't remember exactly how many cuda cores it has but it wasn't nearly as much as I expected it to have. Even the AMD equivilent "stream processors" is always upgraded by a large amount each time. This one is only like 1124~ I believe or somewhere around that, and the RX480 that costs less is like 2100 (it's also 256-bit and 8GB, but has a lower clock frequency and lower overclock headroom) All in all it's a great card but for the physical features, I feel like it should be at least the same price as the RX480 since the performance is the same and as we transition to DX12, the RX480 might end up pulling far ahead, but no one knows yet. AMD is definitely my preference for everything else recently. Can't go wrong with either one. EVGA made a great card, you should definitely buy this if you can, if you have a little more go for the 1070 and make your PC futureproof. But you can't go wrong with the 1060 6GB SSC from EVGA!

Almost a 1080 and almost as good. Save $300 and get this one. You won't be disappointed. From Wow to Doom 2016 @ 60 fps with max settings. Low power needs too.

Bought this for an upgrade to my old gaming rig. Gave it to my son and it has performed well. I had originally picked up the XFX 580 card and I wasn’t impressed. Using a 27 inch 1080p monitor and a 47 inch LG tv. Looks great on both. Probably a bit overkill for 1080p gaming but I like to have extra room.

Its not a 1070oc'd but it can be a 1070 when you oc. It overclocks better then the 1070 and 1080 on gpu and memory. Will run all your games at 1080p and some at 2k. Stays super cool under all conditions. Pricing on this was very competitive compared to online retailers.

I purchased this card before the prices skyrocketed. This card is the best in the price point. I only use it for 1080p gaming, and it's more than enough for anything I have thrown at it. I found the same card, with a slightly different model number, for a couple bucks cheaper when I bought this. I found out later that this was still a better deal, because it has a better quality fan than the other model. Best Buy came through, and I didn't have to wait for shipping.

I have owned this card for about a few days now and I absolutely love it, beast clock speeds, runs very quiet and cool almost 24/7 I never seen it go past 60c in stock fan mode, thing can play fallout 4 and World of Warcraft like its not a problem with ultra settings and MSAA and all the bells and whistles and I sill can get 60 fps solid with gsync no problem! so if your wanting a cheap good overclocked card you wont have to tinker with I defiantly would recommend this SSC GTX 1060 I actually replaced my stock 1060 with it and BIG! performance increase by far
