Gets slightly better benchmarks than my previous x2 sli gtx 970's while making a lot less noise. Biggest noticeable performance increase in early access games like Pubg where I see >120fps at high settings and a very conservative overclock.

his is a outstanding card, an absolute beast of a gaming card! It's disappointing to see all of these negative reviews, because people are just complaining about the shortage of inventory, and the price gouging going on, not the card itself. This inventory issue has nothing to do with the performance of this card. This is a top shelf, A+, enthusiast grade graphics card. The GTX 1080 is best single gaming graphics card you can buy right now. Period. And IMHO, this EVGA FTW 1080 is the best GTX 1080 out right now.

This card is great. I upgraded to this from an R9 390x and the performance jump is very visible. I am able to play just about any game on ultra settings and great frame rates. EVGA is a solid company with goo warranty service, so if something were to go wrong then I know it would be handled well. Great card with no issues installing or using. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this GPU to friends.

This card makes everything better. Bundle this with an i7 and 16gb of RAM, my VR experience is off the charts, and the FPS is awesome. EVGA Is great and I couldn't recommend this GPU enough.

This is a great card and temps are nice and low. Overclocked to 2011mhz and highest temp was 68c. But note if you already have a gtx 1070sc dont get 1080, fps only increase about 5fps over 1070sc. So for the money 1070sc is still better.

So far I've had no issues with this gpu, and as expected it's run every game I've tried super smoothly. It seems pretty quiet. Looks great in a glass panel case too. As a bonus it came with Destiny 2.

I have 3 1080's one is a 1080 strix and I must say Nvidia really makes good chips. With 12 month financing well worth it and with any luck it will pay itself off soon

The GTX 1080 is an incredible product. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Ark: Survival Evolved, Ghost Recon: Wildlands and every other game I throw at it plays at 60+ fps @ 1440p with settings at Max/Ultra. You need this card.

Install was pretty straight forward. Make sure you have a powerful enough PSU. It can run off of a 500w, but would move up to a 750w if u can.

I upgraded to the GTX 1080 for VR, and gaming in the Oculus Rift looks fantastic with this card. I gave it only 4 stars as I had some issues seating the card properly and yet allowing the ports to be clearly accessed through the back; seemed like it was positioned a little off. Also, be aware that it only has one HDMI port, which may be important to you (however there are 3 displayports).

Purchased this when my xfx rx 480 crashed and was only 4 months old. Was looking for a 1070 but they were sold out . And glad it was because this card is great...

For the past 5 years I have solely used EVGA for my graphics cards and they have yet to dissapoint me. If you're a gamer and into PCs then I would be wasting my time explaining to you how powerful this card, the 1080, is. Unless you want to spend $1000 on a Titan then the 1080 or 1080ti is your best shot, and quite frankly there is nothing negative about that. After putting this card into my system (upgraded from the GTX 970) it was an obvious difference in power increase and has provided some gorgeous gameplay experiences.
