    Fast, silent and overclockable!

Great video card, the heatsink is massive and the card (its a 2.75 slot card), it will occupy 3 slots on the back of your case, however that massive heatsink aids tremendously in the heat and noise department! The fans don't even turn on until the temp goes past 50 C, and while on they are silent. Mine came with Samsung memory (you can use GPUz to check your mem brand) so its rated to 2000 mhz (stock is 1938 mhz). So I did a mild overclock to 2000 mhz (which is the official rating), however other people have been able to add much more, even 1000 mhz more on some reviews, but I didn't need to push it that hight. I was able to push the core clock to +70 mhz, netting an around 2055 mhz on the core. All totally stable. Power target can be pushed to +116% (to low for my taste, I hope Evga can produce an updated vbios with more power target, they did for the regular 2080's non-super) and 88 C on the temp target. I came from a 1080 Ti so I thought the upgrade wasn't going to be much, but boy, was I wrong. I had trouble keeping consisting high frame rates on games (I have a 100 hz high refresh/high resolution 3440*1044 monitor) with it, but with this card, I hit 100+ fps on several games like rainbow six siege (ultra hd textures all maxed out) etc. Also, I can play ray tracing games now! Control is a beast! Finally comes with a free code for COD modern warfare upcoming this 10/25 and it will have ray tracing too! Highly recommend this card, the extra cuda cores, high clocks speed and overclockablity makes it a great upgrade over the 1080 Ti and approaches 2080 Ti territory without breaking the bank with $1200+!!

    Solid 1440P gaming!

I had originally purchased the 2070 non super and was impressed until I purchased a high refresh rate 1440p monitor. I decided to do another build for my son and give him the 2070 and I upgraded to this EVGA ultra 2080 super. My frames on warzone are a solid 110 with all settings maxed including ray tracing. The price was high but the price extra $30 for this specific version of the super seems worth it when it comes to the cool temps even with a full afterburner overclock. I shouldn’t need to upgrade for quite some time but if I do I won’t hesitate to go the EVGA route again.

I paired this with a Intel 10600k, gigabyte z490i (itx) and Noctua a12 cooler all inside of a tu150 case. I was able to achieve a stable overclock with EVGA overclock software (x1) at +50 core and +1000 memory. I could still fine tune the memory but I'm happy with where it's at. Setup: Z490i mb 10600k Noctua air cooler Evga 2080 super ultra xc 1440p monitor TU150 case Silverstone sf700 16gb 3200mhz ram S70 m.2 FPS: Modern Warfare - 120-160fps at 1440p on high settings. (Ray tracing off) Fortnite - 200+ fps on 1440p epic settings. Temp: I have between 70-78c during game play. 0C notes: 2050mhz and 8800 memory clock speed while playing modern warfare

Wow, this thing is blazing fast. This is my first new pc build in maybe 8 years and I was 2nd guessing spending this much on a gpu but I wanted something with great performance that would last years from now without needing to upgrading. Best Buy had this for a great price and in stock so I picked it up and installed it in my new pc build and wow, so glad I got this. Able to play every game so far maxed out in my 2k screen at 165hrz and its beautiful. Evga makes solid products and this also has a great warranty. Love the metal top plate on it also, looks fantastic. Paired with my 9900k, MSI MEG ace motherboard, 32gb corsair vengeance pro, samsung evo 970+, and in a corsair crystal 570x. This is a monster of a system.

If you're looking to future proof your computer and don't want to spend as much as the TI costs, then this is a great alternative. Works great with the EVGA X1 Precision app, where you can monitor it and other computer components temps and usage as well as change fan speeds, clock speeds and change the LED colors. Stays remarkably cool through anything I throw at it, definitely would and might buy again if I decide to link down the road.

I’m not used to spending close to 800$ on a gpu but I would do it over again I have experienced 4K gaming at 60+FPS in every game I’ve played so far and the detail is stunning especially the ray tracing it’s absolutely fantastic , 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to complete a high end build ! Goes great with the ryzen 7 3800x as well :)

I was hesitant to make the purchase because of the price, but it’s completely worth it in my new build. Runs quietly, graphics are amazing, and was really easy to work with and install. If you’re thinking of getting another “cheeper” one then upgrading, I’d suggest just going with this! Saves you money in the long run and you’ll have the amazing quality.

I wasn’t sure about replacing my gtx 1080 since I only play WoW classic and Overwatch. But after doing some reading and wanting to see what the rtx card was about I purchased it. Make sure to register your product on the EVGA website for some goodies and the awesome extended warranty program. But back to the card it performs well runs everything I play at 1440p ultra settings with no hiccups. I can say testing the game Deliver Us The Moon looks amazing and blew the 1080 away on 3dmark. I’m sure if you have anything lower than a 1080 you will definitely see a huge difference.

Best card I've ever owned so far. Coming from a gtx 660 this thing might be too powerful lol. Also it's HUGE. This thing takes up 3 slots and is heavy so I bought a mount bracket to help hold it up. Powerwise.... I can run any game up to date on any setting so smooth. The software is also really nice and helps you change the color of the LEDs. It also lets you control the fans however you please too. In fact when turning it on, it like a vacuum cleaner lol (then goes silent, it just sounds that way with the fans running full blast).

I love this thing, I came from a 980 GTX originally. I did buy a 5700XT at first and I experienced bug after bug so thankfully I returned it and purchased this card. I am so glad I did! This thing is a beast compared to the 5700XT.

I bought this videocard for a new 4k gaming PC. After trying several titles in 4k, I have to say I am VERY happy with this card. It is one of the fastest videocards available short of buying a 2080 Ti for over $1k. It also runs cool under a gaming load, with temps for me staying in the low 60C range. I went with EVGA as I have been a long-time customer of their videocards over the past 15 years, and I have only had a problem with one card, which was promptly replaced with a better card under their warranty program. If I have any complaints, it's on Nvidia pricing. Nvidia really needs to get their card back under a $700 maximum pricing point. These $750-$1400 top tier cards are out of reach of a lot of gamers.

I have been on the fence about a new video card. With the new cards.set.to come out September, I choose the 2080 super. Runs all my games at highest setting with over 130 fps in ultra . I am very happy with this card . Im using i 8700 and the 2080 super. Not the best in the world but the best for me. And runs my vr at very good fps great buy if you can afford it ..

The design aesthetic is amazing on this card! The rgb backplate really added something special to my build. The card performs as expected and really shines when paired with my 3700x. Best looking 2080 super card I have seen so far! Just buy it!

I recently started PC gaming and wanted something top of the line. I know the ti is the best one but spending $1,300 didn’t sound amazing to me lol. Can do 4K gaming with good FPS just need to mess with some settings but overall it can do 4K 60fps. My cpu is bottlenecking my GPU and that shows how good this GPU is.

This vga being overclocked already does not have much left in it. I was able to attain 48-100mhz to the gpu and 500mhz to the memory clock. That is very decent considering it is maxed out already. It runs in my 680x with Furmark at a maximum of 81c. Doom Eternal in Ultra never stutters.

I've been using the 2080s for a week now and its astonishing how much of a leap it was from my 1050. This well worth the price tag and I fully recommend it. At mac settings 1440p I'm pulling 80- 110 fps depending on the AAA title.

Love it! Running everything on ULTRA. It's been more than 12 years since I built a PC and decided to go with this GPU for performance and temperatures. Currently running with: - Ryzen 7 3700x 3.6GHz 8 Core (from Best Buy). - MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge wifi mobo (from Best Buy). - G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200. - Noctua NH-D15 (it is a huge air cooler but love the quality and noise level). - Samsung 970 Evo 1TB M.2 NVME SSD. - WB Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM HD (from Best Buy). - EVGA SuperNova G2 850 W 80+ Gold certified fully modular power supply. If you ever go with this build, make sure to get a wider case (wider than NZXT h510i), so it can fit the cooler with both fans attached, otherwise the G.Skill sticks will be in the way pushing the second fan out.
