The card performs very well (max settings in all modern games from my testing) and I have never seen it go above 65C in my mATX case. You can also extend the warranty via EVGA. cons: 1. My card had some coil whine in the first week of use which was corrected by running superposition benchmark for about an hour or so. 2. As of the date of this post you cannot do an EVGA step-up to a 3080 10GB card. So please keep that in mind if you have any intention of doing so when buying this card. As a tip for prospective buyers, if you are fortunate enough to get past verification during restocking but are getting a "250 mile error" like I did when attempting to hit the yellow "add to cart" link, change your preferred Best Buy pick-up location to random states until you are able to add it to your cart. You then pay for the card and then change the pick-up destination to your preferred local Best Buy on the final page of checkout. This will ship the card to your local Best Buy and it is yours. This is an excellent card if you want to do 1440p and below gaming. I am so happy I was able to get one of these at MSRP and it truly performs. This card gives consistent 100+ FPS on AAA games on ultra-wide QHD and for World of Tanks allows me to take advantage of 144hz on my monitor because for that game it gives a consistent 144fps+. Its an added bonus this is an EVGA card which gives you the great warranty they provide. I would definitely recommend this card if you can get it.

This is my first GPU i bought to make my very first PC. Now i know lots of experienced builders will say there are better options out there for a few hindered dollars more but its my first build and i was on a budget and tbh going from a 2060 to the 3070 you do notice a big jump in quality and performance i am not at all regretting this GPU it is amazing and i am more than happy with its performance.

I was lucky enough to get this in my cart on the last BB drop with a 1060ti for the same price so obviously I had to go with the 1070. I’m not into the technical aspects too much but I’m very happy with the upgrade for a bit above msrp. Although can’t complain since I beat the scalpers this time! I did have to upgrade my gpu from a 600B to 650 G3, but it was a smart move just to prevent issues. Does great on 1440p games I’ve tested like FH4 and other titles on 1080p it knocks them out of the park. Overall very happy and looks great in my pc, even though its not really built for show.

this card is nothing short of amazing. pumps out frames like crazy, runs 1440p like it’s nothing, this is an excellent card. managed to get from a total tech drop and was able to finish my build with this! Runs nice and cool at around 60 degrees at 1440p on max settings…. what more could you want?

EVGA is one of the top dogs when it comes to GPU’s and they surely didn’t disappoint with this one! Top notch quality like always!

EVGA downgraded the box that contain the GPU. They use a thinner box compare to the box that they use for their EVGA RTX 3070 last year. My GPU came in with damage box and badly bended GPU hanger and cooling frame. I was able to bend it back. I am not happy when they used a cheaper box.

Grabbed for near MSRP. Plugged it into my linux machine and it fired right up. Cranks out frames at 1440p 144hz and runs cool. Triple fans are suprosingly smooth. The whacky multi color RGB EVGA symbol is weird. No good way to control lighting on linux (precision X is windows only). Simply unplugged the RGB header on the card to turn it off. Branding is also bit over the top... but these are minor gripes.

Very nice card, looks good, runs very silent even under load. It runs all my games smoothly but I mostly play esports titles which is a little overkill. Expected quality from EVGA, sad they don't make video cards anymore.
