On the downside, customers are negative about the price, power consumption, size, and the fact that it runs hot. They feel that the price is too high for what it offers, and they are concerned about the amount of power it draws and the heat it generates.

This is by far one of the best 30 series cards. My temps are so much better than my aorus master 3080ti and that card was one whole slot larger! My temperatures are in the low 70s while playing ray traced games which my previous card would go to 81c. The rgb strip actually syncs with 3rd party programs unlike most other cards this generation. 10/10 I will always simp for evga now!

Such a good powerful card!! In most games I get almost 240 FPS on my 240hz monitor with every graphics setting maxed out with ray tracing on etc. while running on 1440p, but because it has such a huge power draw you should expect it to run very hot unless your case is like a Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL with fans on the bottom of the case blowing air directly into the GPU, or you throw it on a water block. The highest temp I saw was spike of 86c while playing Dying Light 2 with everything maxed out and ray tracing on with the stock cooler… SHEESH! It doesn’t seem to thermal throttle tho even in the mid 80’s!

I had my eye on this GPU for a good minute and I was lucky enough to snag one at my local store on sale. The RGB lighting is great but the performance is even greater! Just about every game I play on is at max settings and I'm still pulling 95+ FPS. I ran a benchmark test with Haven Benchmark at max settings and pulled an average of 241 FPS. Highly recommend this card!

This card really is impressive. I haven't had any issues with it, I could run just about any game out there in 4k. It's a beautiful centerpiece in my PC build. Did I mention this thing is powerful and fast? I was lucky enough to get my hands on one, I wish the reader luck in getting their hands on one of these.

EVGA FTW 3080 TI IS A MONSTER

Card is an absolute beast..... I upgraded from a EVGA FTW3 2070 super to the EVGA FTW 3080 TI. Everyone said I shouldn't upgrade as my card was a great card. While that is true there is also a big difference in performance. The game play on FPS type games is unmatched. It makes all the difference in my opinion. If you are on the fence about upgrading I would say go for it.

Overall great product and am for the most oart very pleased with its performance. Picked this card for its options. It has the ability to deliver 450w. Thats higher than anything else out there. So a power users delight. Only complaint is the included support bracket is useless unless you have a case that supports them and its unsightly to the eyes. Like a wart on the nose of an otherwise beautiful card. If i want to use it, i have to drill my case to use it. Surely a plastic adjustable column is easier, cheaper and far more usuable by the general customer. Otherwise uts great, gave it 5 because its worth it. Even with the useless bracket.

After almost 8 months of everyday use, I am still absolutely amazed by the performance of this card. While it can run a bit on the hot side, the performance that comes along with it is 100% worth it. In addition, you have access to the great monitoring and tweaking features provided by EVGA's Precision X1 software- further adding to the value of this card. Also, BestBuy thankfully gave me a $300 refund credit when- a week after I purchased my card- the price was reduced. Thanks BestBuy!

Almost a year later an still churning out frames smooth as butter. Card has been great an I don't see myself getting a 4000 series to replace it. Sucks that EVGA decided to part ways with NVIDIA.

Great gpu and evga has one of the greatest warranties in pc parts. The only problem was that Best Buy in Puerto Rico charge $200 more for the card. The price was $1609.99 vs $1399.99 mrsp

Overall great card power hungry though. Requires 3 separate power cables to card. I had to upgrade from a 850 sfx watt power supply to a 100 watt standard power supply. I went from a mini case to a mid tower for this. I like my old setup because it saved space, but unfortunately the power supply just wasn't happy with it. The card is pricey in today's climate but hopefully won't need to worry about it for a while.

Amazing GPU (Undervolting is best to do)

First off, like the title, undervolting is what you should be doing, (unless your water cooling this GPU.) This thing out of the boxes with a fixed fan curve at 90% goes up to 88C!!!! That isn’t healthy temperatures long term so please do the following: make the Undervolt at 900mV (0.9v) with a clock speed of 1920Mhz. before you do that make sure to put -200 on the core clock so the undervolt works. I’ll put screenshots when your done reading the rest. Other than that it works amazingly well! VRAM temps are AMAZING compared to the FE. never exceeding 94C compared to 110C with my old 3080 ti. One last thing, make you sure your case has amazing airflow. it’s needed. And you may need a sag holder for safety because it’s HEAVY! Otherwise, a good GPU thanks Best Buy with your new queue system that helped me score this and not wait in EVGA QUEUE!!!!

Absolute beast. After spending a few hours in line I had the opportunity to get this card. I wanted the standard 3080FE but that was sold out. I decided to take the plunge and pick up the card anyway. I don’t regret it. This card is an animal. It can take anything and everything you throw at it and it performs extremely well. Some bench marks even show better performance than a 3090 in certain cases.

This thing is a beauty! I was worried about temps after reading some reviews but the highest temps i've seen are 70-71c while playing very demanding games. My case is the Fractal Torrent and i would suggest to have some intake fans at the bottom of your case to keep this baby nice and cool. Glad i waited and was able to buy this for $1349.

Good card for a good budget 4k build

I’ve been rocking this 3080Ti for a about a month now. I’m limited to 1080p currently and it’s playing everything smooth like butter. Needless to say, a good 4k monitor will be my next larger purchase. I’ve read a lot of reviews about over heating problems with the 3080s and 3090 series, and have heard it’s mostly the same. I’ve read in other reviews that EVGA brands do a little better with temps and I would say it does pretty well. The warmest it’s gotten is 75 celcius while running 1080p red dead 2 at max settings currently up to 165 hertz. After upgrading my cases front intake fans, and set this graphics card up in a PCI 4.0 vertical graphics card mount, my temps while gaming vary between 60-75 under load, RDR2 now averaging around 70-73 degrees. I’d say it does pretty well for an airflow setup.

This card is a beast. I still can’t believe I got it at MSRP. It crushes everything in 1440p. I've got the settings maxed out on every game I own. I also suggest getting a case that has good airflow.
