Still better than 4000 series. EVGA was the best aftermarket manufacturer for these cards, in my opinion the card works amazing, looks great, and doesnt overheat. The cooling is done right, heat distribution stable, and it performs like a dream. Its quiet, looks great, and to top it off its not a monster power guzzler like its newer generation the 4000 series. This is a company that really seemed to care about their product and put in the extra effort to deliver a reliable and satisfying experience for the customer. Its a shame Nvidias poor business model ruined that for all of us.

This thing is a beast! There's nothing so far that I've been able to throw at it that I haven't been able to put every setting on its highest and still get a really high frame rate. This card also surprisingly is really good at cooling itself and when you use the software that you can download for to control parameters of the card like overclocking and underclocking. I can drop it down based off of the temperature I want the car to keep and it's still keeps a high frame rate with ray tracing turned on to its highest settings. I also use this card for work cuz I'm a 3D content creator which includes unreal engine, Maya, and other software and the performance is incredible! Just be warned it is huge, if you have a small motherboard don't expect to put anything underneath it cuz it will cover up all the other inputs. It does come with a suspension cable that I'm using and make sure to get the most recent video drivers for it I noticed that it was running really hot before I updated my drivers on a few games but this can be rectified again by just telling it what temperature you want it to stay at and then it throttles really well. When it's not running it drops down and doesn't pull hardly any power at all running at about 2 to 400 megahertz and the fans aren't even on. It throttles up when it needs to and cuts down immediately in what power usage it has.

Only get if you can't wait to get a 40 Series card

I only got this card because of the huge discount (nearly 50%). It's clear that Nvidia has a surplus of 30 Series PCBs and are trying to liquidate the existing inventory. Nvidia kind of dropped the ball on this card by launching it nearly 18 months after the 30 Series life cycle. With the 40 Series Cards right around the corner, only get this card if you need a video editing powerhouse now vs. later. Pros: -It's the fastest 30 Series card you can get -Overkill for gaming if you intend to aim for 1440p or 60+ fps at 4K -Triple fan cooler is surprisingly efficient at keeping this card at acceptable temps during high load Cons: -Triple-headed 16-pin adapter is ugly and clumsy. Can be a challenge to hide -This card will EAT a lot of watts of electricity unless you limit it using X1 or Afterburner -The specs for the 4070Ti have been rumored to bypass this card's performance at slightly less the MSRP Overall: Only reason I got this card is because I sold my 3080 for $600 and upgraded to a 3090Ti. This card will keep me busy till the 40 Series hype calms down and some sales are available. Regardless of which powerhouse GPU you get, it's all dependent on whatever game's optimization is when playing. Cyberpunk 2077 is a prime example. Even with a 3090Ti, that game can be a challenge to run at 4K at 60+ fps.

This thing is a beast. I am able to run many things on ultra settings with high FPS using this card. Hate that EVGA is done with GPU’s. Super excited I was able to get this on sale when I did. Now I’m burning through what feels like could be a collectors item.

Great card! It runs about 10-15% higher fps than the founders edition. The supports are much nicer than the founders card as well. Great purchase, would make it again.

Expensive GPU but got it below msrp, for $1399. Impressive, can handle all games at max settings. Paired it with AMD Ryzen 9 5950x and it becomes even more impressive.

    Absolute unit of a card

Firstly I will discuss the AIB aspects: they are fantastic. This card has a beefy 3.5 slot heatsink which makes this design effective for cooling 450W properly. The 12 pin connector is absolutely amazing for cable management and is tucked to the side so no cables are blocking the way of that big glorious RGB nameplate. The IO bracket is also revised from previous 30 series FTW3s which eliminates any sag so the eleash provided isn't even necessary. The fans here are very quiet considering the speed percentages and, even when you can hear them, sound the farthest thing from annoying and actually sound nice. And for anyone who cares, the backplate is redone so there is no red stripe on the back and it is thicker, which further helps with thermal management. Speaking of which, this card has excellent VRAM temperatures compared to the 3080 and 3090, which from my own tests never went over 80C. Now to the performance aspect of the card: for reference I saw about a 15% performance gain from my old 3090 and 30% from a 10gb 3080, which is pretty good considering this is still an Ampere card. However, considering the price, size, and power consumption of the card, that kind of a performance gain is an absolute minimum expectation to have here. And compared to either the FE or FTW3 Black 3090 Ti, you should be seeing a 3% improvement going with the Ultra, but in my opinion if you are already willing to spend $2000 for 15% performance over the 3090, then it might be worth the extra $200 to widen your performance gain by a pinch up to 18% as you are already investing a massive amount of money into one component of your PC. In real life applications, these benefits are mainly visible with 4K gaming, as lower resolutions will yield much smaller gains. In summary, EVGA continues to do the best with how little NVIDIA gives them & their customers and it shows with the mastery this card has demonstrated with the 3090 Ti chip.

I bought this to replace an aging RTX 2080 in my gaming desktop (I was getting the dreaded "Video Memory Management" BSOD), but when I got it all unpacked and installed, I found to my horror that it didn't seem to recognize my DisplayPort monitors. Upon researching the issue, I discovered that this is a common problem with the RTX 3090 Ti line, and while they work just fine with HDMI outputs, the DisplayPort ports might as well be for show. I tried every solution I could find, and nada. I returned it for a full refund.

This GPU is great! The temps are great and you even get to choose between three BIOS on the card itself. OC/Performance/Normal. I do Performance as the fans under 50C stay at 0% RPM. In hot weather CA, I have not seen the fans go higher than 70% and I have a corsair 4000D case, so it does not have the best airflow as other competitors. Throw anything at this card and you are good bro. I recommend you have at least a 5700x and above to balance out the load, and 3600 RAM speed or higher as well. 1000w PSU recommended! GPU is amazing!

Purchased roughly 1 year prior to this review and the GPU is still chugging along perfectly. Very capable of handling high heat output thanks to its colossal heat sink; HOWEVER, make sure it fits in your case if you have one already before purchasing it. The card is far larger than a 3080 or similar.
