    I love this recorder. I didn't know that these were available until one of the members at Best Buy told us about it. We were actually looking for something else. It works great and it comes in handy when you want to record a movie for someone who wants to see the movie or keep it as a collection.

    I am working on a dvd project for my alma mater. We converted old football films to DVD. When someone orders one it is easy to make them a copy with this unit. Simply plug it in, turn it on, open the top tray for the master and the lower tray for the blank dvd, close the trays, and in about 10 minutes you copy is done. Works great!

    I no longer have to use my computer to crank out multiple DVDs. I have yet to try it on CDs.

    Well, I ordered this for my school Library and I did enjoy the price and the fact that it was not necessary to have a computer to duplicate. I used it immediately to copy numerous photo CDs from our school play and it worked fabulously for the first 20 copies. After that, the machine began grinding and making a horrid noise. About every third CD I put in would come back with an error as well. I decided to return it and get a new one. I now have my new machine and so far it has done well; however, I have not had to duplicate more than 5 CDs at a time so I am crossing my fingers that I don't have any further issues when we do more bulk CDs.
