I just started playing this game, but I can honestly say it is one of the best, and it totally deserved the "Game of the Year" Recognition. It's really clever how you get to personalize your character's race & physical appearance, primary attributes, and Skills. I must say the Pip-Boy 3000 is one of the best and useful tool in video games, you will understand me when you use it. Also, the V.A.T.S is one of the many things I love about this game. It's basically like "bullet time" without the whole timer thing, it pauses everything and let's you choose the body parts of the enemy without having to worry about time limit, and also gives you the probabilities of actually hitting the target you choose, as well as providing you with info of the vulnerability each limb has. It's farely complicated when you start but you'll get used to it pretty fast. Now, the open world it's still amazing. You can really see the damage of the nuclear war that happend, as well as the aftermath of it, like humans affected by the radiation, mutants, unpropirtional animals, etc. I can't help feeling like Mad Max (from "The Road Warrior") when I walk across the Wasteland, even in one of the first supply shop you run into you can buy an outfit that really (and I mean REALLY) resembles the outfit Mel Gibson wears in the movie, and it even goes to the point where you can actually buy a short shotgun in the store, but I heard that further in the game you can have a dog as a companion. So, you only need a car, and it's the perfect Mad Max game, but sadly, there is none. Post-apocalyptic wasteland, remember? And I also like that you have to be resourceful with ammo, money, and health. So I often find myself getting inside buildings in search for supplies that I may need, and if I don't, I just can resell them to get a couple of bottle caps, which is the currency. You also have the option of playing First-person or Third-person, and change between them extremely easy (just press LB). The graphics may be just a little bit out-dated compared to current games, but it still doesn't keep it from being an awesome experience. If you like open world games with tons of things to do as well as amazing views, RPGs, and shooters, then this is the game for you.

Sure it was clearance maybe 15/20 bucks but on the game cover it stated Xbox 360 and Xbox one went to install and nope not compatible just threw money in the garbage

I love love love this game. The best thing about this game is that it is the game of the year edition and comes with all the additional content at a bargain price. At 20 bucks you can't beat the content and quality of the game you are getting.

Great game... another hit from Bethesda. It leads you through pretty easily. The only thing I didn't like is that the main quest is pretty quick to get through so make sure you do all the side quests before finishing.

The price is cheap due to the next iteration being out. This is a very excellent game providing good story and many ways to play. Well worth the expense and time. Not a short game by any means.

Very fun open world game. Plenty of different things to make and places to explore and bad guys to destroy. My vault is almost complete. I will survive the apocalypse thanks to this game!

First time Fallout went into first-person and it is great. The shooting mechanics are pretty garbage but the environment is great and there is a lot to see and do.

I am such a big big big fallout fan and have been waiting 7 years for this new game so naturally i just had to have it. I pre ordered it which of course came with the best perks 500 best buy points and it was easy to pick up at midnight on the night of its release. I have played the game for a couple days now and have to say it is really good, the words sometimes are off but who am i kidding i love fallout!!!! Get this game its so good.

An amazing RPG to get into if you have the time. Great deal as well. A difinite must buy.

Fallout 3 is an awesome futuristic game that starts you out in a fallout shelter after a long nuclear war which you get to pick and choose your character and game play with karma which you can choose to grow up a little bit of a bad guy or the all Canadian hero as you follow in your father's footsteps through the vast wasteland and figure out the mystery of you dear old dad's disapearance

Bought 2 copies of PS4 Fallout 4 for my sons as Christmas gifts; they love the game. I also have talked to other young folks and they say the game is best. I am a hero among my sons because they would not have the purchase $60 until it went on sale. Oh by the way, the game did go on sale between Christmas and New Years and Best Buy adjusted my bill by $10 per game. Go Best Buy!

Satisfies my need for collecting, adventuring, molding my character. Finally getting the hang of the fighting, but I'm hooked. You can easily play this more than once from beginning to end and not get bored. I originally purchased for the boyfriend, but now it's mine. ha ha!

This game iwass older, and was built witht the same engine that Oblivion was made with. As such, the gameplay and style are very similar, but the world and combat are different. Large world map with lots of quests have kept me playing for awhile. Being oldet its not nearly as good looking as Skyrim, or other newer titles, but I like the gameplay. Its a fun game, and if you like bethesda games, this ones good.

It's a great game! If you played Skyrim you'll love it. Basically the same thing, except placed in a post-nuclear apocalypse. Bought it to prepare for Fallout 4 and I'm very glad I did!! Loads of fun, even if the graphics aren't too great.

All in all fallout 3 is an amazing game, great music, game play, and story. The one problem is that it suffers from being too old. This is not a problem if this is your first Fallout game however. Being that my first Fallout game was Fallout 4 and then I played new Vegas, you can see why I say that. I have been spoiled by the features that are missing from these games and wish I would've played then in chronological order. I would give this a 4.5 star but it does fall short because of my already extremely high expectations of the Fallout series since I played the games backwards. This whole review does not apply if this is your first game in the Fallout series. This is also not a negative review, just a very honest one.

I've never played fallout and With all the hype around fallout 4 I decided to pick this up since its a lot cheaper to see if I like the series. It's a fun game. If you like open world RPG I'm sure you will like it.

Just bought this game in anticipation of Fallout 4 being released soon. No complaints whatsoever. If you're a Fallout fan then you won't be disappointed. Great to play while waiting for the release of the new one.

I am playing on Xbox One X and I am very impressed with how good the game looks and more importantly, how fast the load times are. I have not run into any bugs or crashes yet. The fast load times alone are going to make me love this game even more than the first time I played it. It's definitely the definitive way to play this game for any console.

The xbox one x really put all the extra hardware behind it to bring this last gen console game to a new light. It shows many more details then I expected on xbox one x. It's a good explore level up and collect all the loot you can find Type of game. With a decent story telling. A good value price game to experiance once again, because war, war never changes.
