Okay so it's been a year and a half. I can say that when it was first launched it had a lot of major issues. They fixed a good amount of them so I started getting back into the game but immediately lost interest again. They're not doing enough to keep people engaged and they still have quite a few bugs.

Game play is hindered by maintaining your health and weapons and all the scrapping and building you have to do. I enjoy playing a game by myself and enjoying my environment and you can not do that in this game. It is there but you are to busy doing other things to enjoy it.

I am a huge, huge fallout fan, I was wary about this stand alone game that is a prequel to the other fallout games. I was worried about being pvp griefed since this was online only game. I have not been disappointed. I play with a group of friends which make this more enjoyable. The game is also enjoyable playing solo as well. Please don't take this game as "fallout 4 online" This is a total different game and it's own different style. I am having a blast playing this.

The game has a lot in common with previous Fallout games, but this one is definitely different.
Here are just a couple things that stand out:
VATS doesn't slow the game since it's a MMO, accessing the pip-boy also doesn't pause it for the same reason.
Fast-travel costs caps
No NPC players to give quests, there are still vendor bots though
All-in-all, I haven't played this a whole lot yet, but even with these changes, I still like what I've played so far.

This game was built with issues and sent out with issue. it is a bad sign when it requires a 15 GB patch in the first week. The game seems poorly built and not well thought out. I will play it because I paid for it but I am not enthused.

Been a huge fallout fan for sometime, played it for a few hours and quickly lost interest. Doesn't have the story line or the content that many of the previous versions had and the multiplayer just wasn't anything spectacular. Would definitely recommend holding off getting it or not getting it at all.

I enjoyed Fallout 4 and all the DLC's. So far not really liking 76. The lack of real solo play disappointed me, I like Multiplayer but thats really all this is. Its more like an MMO then anything else. So if you like Multiplayer and talking on microphone (no keyboard chat) then go for it, If you rather play solo, find something else.

The virtual world is rich with detail and amazingly lifelike. The gameplay is challenging with many different modes of play. You can rampage across the post-apocalyptic countryside looting and pillaging or you can work collaboratively with other Vault graduates. Crafting, trading, fighting, strategy, it has it all! I highly recommend it!

My wife and I play this game and although we are fans of FallOut this game is the worst of the series. It's very buggy and a lot of glitches ruin what could have been a great game experience. We are playing at launch so maybe they patch things later but as of now, I'd avoid this one.

Some problems:
(1) Have had to click on "play" many times before it allows me into the game - the maximum tries was 35 (I am persistent)
(2) Has had a problem with "slow motion" at least three times - difficult for reacting
(3) Has crashed at least twice, once while completing a quest and when I went back in I could no longer complete the quest.

Lets just start out this game had a rough start. I mean there is a really good base game here and it has the workings of being something really fun. I just think without having NPC's giving quests it tends to get kinda boring pretty quickly. I think everything could change with some updates so I am still hopeful that Bethesda will bring the ship around and deliver this into a good game.

This game has some nice visuals but is probably my least favorite of the franchise. I fully expect that the DLC to be released in the future will improve the game. This review is written in November 2018. I'd wait a bit for some of the bugs to be fixed in later updates.
