    I've had this Farberware unit a few months now. It cooks well. It may even put a little more energy into the food than the previous 1000-watt microwave that I replaced with this unit. The rotating turntable makes the food cook evenly. It does have a few minor annoyances: 1) somewhat loud, 2) interior lighting is very dim (and bluish), 3) touchpad buttons require a lot of pressure. Still, overall, this unit provides good value for the price.

    Horrible chemical smell coming from inside the microwave upon arrival. A week later, the smell still lingers some, hopefully it’s not getting into the food. Also, one time the microwave did not work, and the food was as cold as when i tried to warm it using 2 minutes. Let’s hope this doesn’t persist. Microwave is a bit noisier than my previous GE.

    Well priced, does it's job, Like the handle to open, nice exterior. But the noise it makes is a fairly loud hum I will get used to, I hope

    Our previous Farberware microwave lasted many years, and we were happy to replace with a similar, upgraded model. Really appreciate having a handle we can use to open the door. Features are easy to use and works well. Recommend.
