This is my 2nd time to buy a 'shredder'. First one lasted 5-6 years. Now I found this Fellows and it is great. Features great, smaller by inches but holds a lot of shred. Locks, use vegetable oil on shredder after each use. Saves gears. Got handle to pick up head to dump. Great. Before I had to life it up and it was heavy. I like buying from BestBuy, they have great products with good prices and FAST DELIVERIY. I also have a Best Buy card. Easy to get in store, so I use it when I need to buy and saves on my other cards. I buy, pay it off so its always ready for me to use and free of debt. Can't go wrong. I even got Geek Squad protection contract, 4 years now on computer. Greatest ever. FELLOWS POWERSHRED - shreds quick-continuous run but I don't go over 4-5 minutes. I recommend this shredder to anyone. The size is the ideal size I was looking for. You could shred credit cards, 6-8 sheets of paper together, and it also has an on and off lock with other features that I didn't try as yet.

This is the third shredder I've purchased in as many years. All others we not heavy duty enough and/or were too loud.

It is so easy to empty. I also like safety feature.

Works well. Seems powerful. Minus one star because it is quite loud and the bin does not close completely (see photo).

I love this machine. It's got the horse power of much larger machines. I'd recommend it for small office situations as it is very effective as long as you stick to 5 minute intervals' and don't overheat! Much better than cheaper one's for sure! And it's easy to clean and maintain!

This shredder is amazing. I love all the safety features and how it is easy to use and really good. I love how it's really big and you can hold a lot of paper shreds in there and not have to worry about emptying It out every time i use it . I usally go a few days without having to empty it out it's a really good quality shredder and you should get it...

The last shredder that I had didn't last one day. It overheated and got jammed. I upgraded to this shredder and it worked perfectly. I could put whole unopened envelopes in it and it would shred then without difficulty. I had so much to shed and i was able to agreed a good amount without it getting jammed or overheating. I was tired before it was. I am really happy that I got this shredder because it works like a charm!!!

When I purchased this online it appeared to be much larger, so when I did the store pick up, I was surprised to see how small it was. None the less, I took it home and put it work and boy did it work. Ive shredded so much paper in such a short time. All I can say, this shredder is amazing. PAPER shreds really small criss-cross. It is a little loud when it is mulching up the paper but the motor stops immediately after.it shreds the last page. Does not restart until u place the next paper. It stops once the bin fulls as it need to be emptied and bin fulls fast because it shreds really fast. It has never stopped from being over heated because i tried to time how long i used it so i wont have to wait for it to cool down. So once the top felt hot, I unplugged it and waited, quickest way to cool down. Overall, I love my shredder. It does what I purchased it for and much more. For anyone looking for a security shredder and a work machine, this is the one. Happy shredding....

Keep in mind this is not an in store item. You have to purchase this online.I bought this when BB had it on sale.Retail is $99.99 on this shredder. I was watching their prices & bought it at $72.99. A very good price on the Fellowes W11.The Fellowes shredders come with a very good reputation for durability.it is a little loud when you are using it,but it has a big motor and shreds more paper at one time, then most units at this price point. The top comes off very easy for ease of emptying the paper.The top is a little heavy because of the over sized motor. All in all this unit should last me for a long time. Fellowes shredders gives you a very good dollar value for the money and have a great reputation. I have had mine now for 2 months and it is worked great.I marked reliability 4 stars because I have had it only 2 months.Also you can back the paper off easily if you over feed the unit,to keep from jamming it Watch the price on this is seems to fluctuate.I also got free shipping on this which was also a plus. I had it shipped directly to my house by UPS.Which was a bonus.I happened to live close to one of their warehouse and got it 2 business days after paying for it.Can't beat that.I try to give BB first crack at my purchases.They will match on line prices if at all possible and I appreciate that.I would rather buy from a store than some on line seller who you will never be able to contact for problems.Best Buy always works to make me happy when buying and that is all worth alot to me.I buy mostly from the Hurst Tx store. I went through "The Agony and The Ecstasy" trying to replace my tired, broken shredder. My previous Fellowes shredder had been purchased sometime before 2005. I loved it! I researched several different brands but kept coming back to Fellowes. I had heard both positive and negative reviews on this one, but let me tell you...it's great! I love the recessed handle that makes it extremely easy for me to empty the container. My old one required that I lift that heavy shredding mechanism using both hands. (can't tell you how many times I dropped it on my foot! Ouch!!) The W11C is powerful (no problem shredding 11 sheets) and has a handy locking device for inquisitive grandkids. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

This think is affordable and fast. It cuts thru items quickly and with no problem. My only complaint is that it's a little loud but I'll deal with that.

Needed a shredder to clean out some boxes of paperwork. Its small but it works great! doesnt overheat and is fast.

Bought this item about 4 months ago, and I am very happy with the purchase because this particular shredder makes my life so much easier. It's a breeze to destroy unneeded material in a speedy manner! I appreciate the overall efficiency, solid construction, size, locking switch, and handle for lid removal. It also seems quite durable. All this at an affordable price too. There is even a contact number attached to the lid in case you have a question/concern which I did. How many companies do that? Believe me the Fellowes representative was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I called because I was just not clear on the initial operation instructions. I probably should have read them more carefully, anyway she explained everything to me. I'm impressed; it's a great product, great company!

Bought this to shred years of financial documents. Works great! I have had it over a month now and it shreds paper with great ease, shreds credit cards and best of all, it shreds the paper clips too so I don't have to waste time pulling them off documents. I oil it just as instructed and it hasn't missed a beat. I have shredded quite a bit and had no problems. I would definintely recommend this shredder to everyone.

The shredder is very good, allows me to shred up to 10 sheets at a time, but I only do about 4 at a time. I love the crosscut shredding, and I like how easy it is to empty the shredder. The shredder will shut down if it gets too hot which is a good thing. I like the shut-off button as well as the protection button that locks the machine when you are done with shredding.

I gave it 4 stars because it does serve its purpose well, but when I have to empty it the shredder is really heavy and bulky and when I'm shredding anything it is loud. For some reason I also have a bit of a problem putting in the paper to shred it. I don't know if the slot is at a different angle or what, otherwise it works great so far where it hasn't jammed up and the container holds alot of shredded paper.

I was looking for a shredder to replace one I've had for a few years. As time has gone by, the shear volume of junk mail - much of which has some level of personal information and should be destroyed and not tossed - has skyrocketed to the point where the one I had just wasn't up to the task and also lacked crosscut capability. I did my normal exercise of research and reviews which lead me to this shredder from Fellowes. So far it's handled what I've thrown at it, including making quick work of a few old credit cards (it's very satisfying to see those sliced and diced). It's not a commercial shredder - I've read a few reviews where some folks complained about not being able to shove two decades of old tax returns and bank statements in one go. But for it's intended use of home or even small office, it's a pretty good machine.

Great shredder! Tough and durable and love how it has a handle on the shredder to lift it up from the waste basket. Easily shreds paper fast and with ease. Also got the Best Buy warranty good for 3 years. If it breaks b4 then the warranty allows you to bring it in and get a new shredder comparable to this one. Can't beat this deal!

I bought this due to my old shredder burning up. I had a small black & decker slim shredder. I would constantlyh have problems with it jamming, even with only 2 sheets of paper. With this shredder I've run 8 sheets of paper through with no problem.
