I played ff7 back 20 something years ago. This was an amazing remake but just wish it was longer. But I heard there will be 5 installments. Well worth it If your a fan of ff7 and If you never played before. 5 stars all the way.

I’ve always been a fan of FF7 for the past 23 years and was skeptical about this remake. Now that I’ve played through the entire game, I can say it was worth the wait! I just hope the next installment doesn’t take so long!

This is a great game and if you dont have or nevee played the 1997 version you will not understand why so many of us is happy for this version. I dont care it this is only one part of the game it its still great to me.

A great remake of the original, Final Fantasy VII Remake offers hours of an expanded version of a portion of the original in a positive way that will leave fans of the original and newcomers to the series satisfied.

They did an epic job remaking this not loosing any of the original but adding to it. Hits all the feels and takes me back to when I first played this game.

During the COVID-19 I received my game via curbside pickup. The game was dropped in my rear car seat area to keep with the 6 FT physical distancing protocol. Unfortunately, my Deluxe Edition case was dented right in the middle of the case. Everything else was in great condition and they game is very fun to play.

Best remake game ever! If you are a true fan from the original FF7. This is the remake to have. You won't be dissapointed.

Amazing it reminded me of when I played the original back 20 years ago. It's a lot different but you will see. Good stuff

I know people are hurt because of some of the storyline changes that Square-Enix decided to do with this game. and some even call it incomplete But personally, I think this "incomplete" game was more completed and perfected than the majority of anything I've played recently. or ever. I wont say too much. I rarely ever give something a perfect score. but this definately deserves it in my book. 5-stars, greatest game of all time, and not a single regret from me.

If you love the original FFVII and want to experience it again or if you love a immersive story with great characters and dialog then you will not be disappointed with Final Fantasy VII Remake. They nailed the characters of the original perfectly and even manage to take the original ost and make it sound in more masterful. Easy 5 stars, a game that makes you want to playthrough again just to see the difference in text choices.

Definitely worth the money, great game play fighting and magic. Does have replayability!

This remake was exactly what the game deserved. Fantastic story, optional battle systems to suit every play type, compelling re-telling of an epic story and incredible character design and progression. Loving the additional features such as Saving anywhere, Multi-use, Multi-cast and Materia and Weapon upgrades are just as satisfying as the original. 10/10 highly recommend!

It's like reliving your childhood all over again but in 1080!

the graphics are so beautiful and the wait was well worth it!! The deluxe edition was a great purchase! Love the artbook and sepiroth steelbook case! :)

...Of one of the best ever. Content is worth the extra 20 for collectability but the standard will do. Got the digital standard when it came out, but just gotta have it!

The game is beautiful. Great for veterans and new comers to the world of FF7 alike. I was not so impressed by this deluxe edition though. The outer packaging was nice. The card box that holds the items in it feels soft to the touch with a velvety texture. But unfortunately the included items were just— okay... the tin I received snaps shut but feels uneven as if it was a plastic box inside of a tin box. It feels like a used plastic VHS case. The art book is VERY small. So small it cannot be enjoyed nor would it prompt you to display it. It also came in pretty BANGED up with frayed edges on the cover. Who knows how it was the only thing damaged inside the sealed box. But after seeing the tiny thing, it was Not even worth the hassle of a return. The CD was ok but came in a cardboard slip instead of a hard jewel case which was a big let down. In the end I guess I expected a collectors edition... my mistake. It’s a shame, it’s a really good game. I would recommend skipping this edition.

I honestly do NOT Blame Best Buy for my Deluxe items appearing scratched up due to rushing up production. And, I have ZERO issues regarding gameplay, so this critique is for the packaging condition itself. For a collector of Steelbook cases and artbooks, I do my best to preserve their conditions. And, upon receiving the edition from the store, I could tell that after unwrapping the item, it was in No way Best Buy that could damage the Steelbook case and artbook enclosed with the game and music disk! Square made a premature ramp on producing their game and merchandise withOut some sort of Quality Control. I managed to email the company regarding this issue, with no further response from Square Enix at this current time.

This is one of the best gaming experiences hands down in my opinion.
