    Three Games in One!

Excellent value for Fire Emblem fans since you get three games in one - Birthright, Conquest, and Revelation (the DLC campaign) - all on one game cart. The bonus art book and pouch are nice, but the three games in one is the big appeal. Only played through Birthright so far, where you choose your feudal Japan-themed family, but I really like them. Some changes from Fire Emblem Awakening for better and worse. (like the weapon durability)

Cool Special Edition for a Great Game

I was very lucky in that I was able to get one of these. I walked into Best Buy and there was one copy of this sitting on the shelf. My favorite thing about the Special Edition is the art book and the fact that all three games (Conquest, Birthright, Revelations) are all on one cartridge. That isn't available anywhere else. Birthright is the only game I've played so far, and am about 20 hours into it. It's a little easy, but the characters and story are great and I am having a great time with it.

The art book that's included is a pretty well put together hard cover book and the print on the pouch for a 3DS XL is really cool looking. With both games included, these bonus items make this a really good purchase for FE fans!

This game is fantastic. The production value is tremendous for a handheld game. Such a deep story to experience, complex and rewarding gameplay and so many options on how to approach the game to cater to your own needs. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a deep strategy experience with a well-told narrative.

    Great Game and Accessories

The latest addition of fire emblem posts a lot of new features that has never been shown before and any other fire in the game. Limited Edition: The book has 40 pages of full-color concept art as well as a hardback cover. The book has the box art split down the side so that each cover has a choice of birthright or conquest. The book looks great in the library or spread open on the shelf. Custom Bag: The bag is man of high quality products that has half black and white drawstrings. They are two separate pieces of string that are woven together so that the one handle is blank and the opposite handle is pure white. The size of the bank allows the person to add accessories to their console and still fit within the bag. The design of the bank is beautifully screen printed double-sided with amalgamated crest of both houses. Avatar character: for the first time you're able to customize your character in such a debts to where the character feels truly unique to you. Lots of hairstyles, colors, and accessories that show up during battle and cut scenes. This is also the first time where the main character is proficient in swords and Dragon stone. The previous entry was proficiency swords and tomes. Multiplayer: you can also have one on one battles with your friends and with random people online with your strongest team. There are different types of battles that can be played, standard. limited (time limit) and your own castle. My Castle: Having your own castle and being able to change and manipulate the set pieces gives the player tons of freedom and how they want their counsel to look as well as making it more difficult for online players to invade your castle. By having unique set ups and placements of your troop your castle brings lots of different strategical advantages. And after playing through the story you gave me ability to create more different types of buildings that have unique capabilities such as gaining new materials to improve your weapons and accessories. Lots of Personality and Charm: There is a gigantic roster of characters that all have different types of personality troops and interesting backstory is when paired with each other. There is over 200 different types of interactions with each other and interesting dialogue between the two games.

This is easily one of the best games released not just this year and not just on 3DS either but this generation. There's a ton of content in this game and with there being 3 separate stories as well, this game can last you a very long time. Turning it up on the hardest mode makes this game one of the most challenging games out there this generation as well. This is great game for the core gamers.

    Fire Emblem Fates on 3DS

The newest edition to the Fire Emblem series is a winner. The music is great and the story line isn't half bad. This edition is full of features that will keep you coming back. The Nohr route is definitely harder toward the last couple of chapters if you play hard/classic mode. This game is a definite buy if your still on the fence.

Despite having three games in one cartridge (which is crazy in itself) each game features over 30 hours of content with tons of replayability. The stories are wonderful, the characters are amazing, and the gameplay has never been better. If you have played Awakening, Fates is the next best step for you.

Thanks to NowInStock I was able to preorder this item on BestBuy Ebay. Spending every single day checking for restock was so much work but it was worth it with all 3 games in 1 cartridge. The artbook is beautiful, but I just wished the US got the steel case like Europe instead of the flimsy 3DS pouch.

The special edition provides a great value and includes all 3 games along with a couple physical bonuses. The games are very good SRPGs with challenging gameplay. The stories are very simplistic and melodramatic, but they're good enough to keep you playing. I didn't really enjoy the My Castle mode.

It really is great that all three routes of the game are included in this special edition. The soft pouch and the art book are just a bonus. It is a shame though that Nintendo decided to make these very rare.

If you enjoyed Fire Emblem Awakening, you will likely enjoy this game. It features the player character as the main character, which is definitely unusual. Player characters have been important in the past, but never to this extent. Its... different. I was confident I would enjoy it, and if not, I could rely on the rarity of the special edition acting almost insurance. The story could be better as well as the localization, but the special edition is worth adding to your collection of 3DS games, especially if you enjoy SRPGs

Fire Emblem Fates contains three awesome games, and the best part about this Special Edition is that you get all three Paths (Birthright, Conquest, and Revelations) all on one cart, no downloads required. The included pouch and carrying pouch are icing on the cake. If you can find this Edition at a reasonable price, or it gets restocked, it is absolutely a must have for any Fire Emblem fan.

FE special edition is great. The special edition offers multiple save slots that makes it easy to try the other storylines. FE Fates itself is a great strategy rpg. The battle system is deep and offers many different options to build the ideal team. The story is one of the in the series. This is one of best 3DS games to date.

This special edition is very nice to have because you get both of the main games, Birthrates and Conquest along with the DLC Revelation in one cart. You can currently get all this game in digital form for the same price as the special edition. Special edition main selling point is a physical cart with all three games.

If you've never played Fire Emblem and are a fan of SRPGs then give this a shot. There's 3 versions to choose from or play them all... Birthright, Conquest and Revelations I've read Conquest is the harder one followed by Revelations then Birthright being the easiest

So, hands down, if you can get it, this is the best version of FE Fates simply because it includes all 3 paths on on cartridge. Sadly, Nintendo sorely under produced this edition, so it's unlikely to show up on anywhere but secondhand markets at an inflated price.

Nintendo really knows how to make great collector's edition. This game's storyline is engaging and the gameplay is awesome. Nintendo has done well to the Fire Emblem franchise and they only made it better by creating a beautiful package with this Special Edition.
